I've been doing yoga for almost 15 years now and this is tied (with my first hot yoga studio in Albuquerque, NM) for my favorite studio of all time. You rock, Tula! Other stuff: - I love the classes from Angelique and Frank the most but I've truly never had a bad instructor. Laurel and Kyra are excellent too. - This studio offers a ton of different classes at different times. (I first started coming here because it was the only studio in the Redlands/Riverside area that offered evening hot yoga classes that worked with my work schedule.)

Since then, they've moved to a terrible location with 5 parking spots. I drove by there after PAYING for my class and there was NO parking and I took one look at the place and opted out anyways. It's in a very dangerous area- I'm not parking a half mile away to walk on a busy street at night as a small woman. This is really frustrating. Move to an unsafe location, have no parking, can't get your money back for a drop in class, the website NEVER works- and their prices haven't gone down so what exactly are we paying for? The owners Tesla in the private parking lot they have (behind a big black gate) because they know it's in an unsafe location. It's giving scam. Disappointing. I won't be back.

It's a cute little place for kids with a lazy river, three slides, a toddler area, and a wave area. I was excited to find somewhere that was a little more convenient and purchased 3 season passes. Unfortunately, we were only able to use the passes twice. When I originally asked the girls working at the front desk about the schedule, I was told that the park would be open Monday through Friday through the end of August. Based on that information, I felt comfortable purchasing the season passes because I knew my other kids would be coming back from vacation and we would have plenty of opportunities to use them. That ended up not being the case. The park was closed multiple times for private events, and then the schedule changed. I eventually called to check whether they were open and got a voicemail saying that they would now only be open on weekends until Labor Day. I emailed the park because I was disappointed and explained the situation. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like they were very helpful. I was basically told that the calendar had been posted since the beginning of summer and that it was my responsibility to check it. The problem is, I didn't even know there was a calendar to check. I was given information directly by the employees at the front desk that the park would be open Monday through Friday through the end of August. If someone had told me, "Our schedule can change, so please check our online calendar before purchasing," I absolutely would have done that. In fact, if I had known the actual schedule, I probably wouldn't have purchased the season passes in the first place. Because of the closures, private events, and schedule changes, I was only able to use my pass twice and couldn't use it when my other kids returned from vacation, which was the whole reason I purchased the passes. I think it's a cute little water park and could be a fun option for younger kids, especially if you're looking for something smaller than the big water parks. But unfortunately, the way this was handled left a really bad taste in my mouth. I completely understand that schedules can change and private events happen. What I don't think is fair is telling customers one thing when they're purchasing passes and then essentially telling them afterward that they should have known to check a calendar they weren't aware existed. I'm sure three season passes aren't going to make or break the business, but as a customer, I definitely feel like I got screwed over for simply trusting the information I was given by the employees.

A unique tradition takes place on the last Saturday of every month, when local men's church groups gather at 6:30 a.m. to hike to the summit and hold a "Sermon on the Mount" service. I highly recommend visiting Mount Rubidoux. The hike is enjoyable, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the panoramic views from the top are absolutely amazing.

The trails converge at a point in the middle and there are two ways to the top. Going to the right is a slightly longer route but the incline is easier and more gradual. Going to the left is where the tower and bridge are. Have fun!

I can't say enough great things about Refinery Pilates. I came in as a complete Pilates beginner, and thanks to the amazing instructors, I've caught on so quickly and truly found my niche here, I now come daily, and it has become one of the best parts of my routine. Each instructor brings their own unique style and energy to class, but they all share a common goal: supporting, challenging, and uplifting every person in the room. The front desk staff are always so helpful, welcoming, and informative. I especially want to give a special shoutout to Parker! My husband gifted me an unlimited membership for Christmas, and she helped him navigate everything with so much kindness and patience. It meant so much to both of us. The environment at the studio feels incredibly safe and welcoming, which makes a huge difference, especially as someone newer to Pilates. I've been going to Refinery Pilates for about a month now, and this is the first time in my life I've been truly consistent with any type of exercise. What makes the difference is the variety. Every time I go its different; different instructors, different music, and different equipment utilized and so many class times from early morning to evening. It makes it easy to actually show up. I've already started to see changes in my body: more strength, more tone, and overall feeling firmer. The workouts are challenging but doable, and I leave feeling accomplished instead of defeated. Mackenzie is hands-down my favorite instructor! Shes got great energy, clear cues, and motivating without being over the top. I'm genuinely grateful I found this place and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to build strength and stay consistent. read more

I moved to Riverside about 7 years ago. Since I have gained weight with, returning to college and working while raising my son. I have worked out everywhere in the area, when I tried class here for the first time I was amazed at the fat burning exercise that reminded me of what i was used to back home in LA. I've been a member and attending classes since the grand opening and am so pleased with this studio! All of the teachers are lovely and so are the people at the front desk. I used to have to drive all the way to Upland to a studio where I felt challenged and comfy. So happy this is so close to my home and job. ** Update: Regarding jessicas response: it's not "fair to all members" when you have people with…read moredisabilities who have voiced the issue and you refuse to accommodate documented disabilities, that have been with the person for twenty years and it's not going to get better. To make it "fair to all" you should provide an exception if someone is willing to provide a diagnosis to you. If I have a seizure during the night it's ridiculous that you would be so black and white saying I should have anticipated that.** I went from being obsessed with the Riverside location, buying all their merch, to being unable to recommend them solely on policies and management. I want to preface, they can have whatever policy they want and that's great if they are unable to be able to relate to chronic health issues. If you have unpredictable health issues, conditions, disorders, they do not care. You either cancel 12 hours before a class or pay $18. Even if you explain this being an issue they will stick by you only get 2 absences waived a year. I understood that and then would loyally pay my missed class without saying anything. Then because it was such short notice (2 hours ish) I messaged them about the health concern I was facing and they said I already had my 2 waived cancellations and I said ok I just wanted to let you know. I didn't press about it again but had explained it was causing me to be unable to book classes because the fees from cancelling, the night prior. (I'm literally meaning 8:30 pm for a 7:30 am NOT WAITLISTED OR FULL class) I get if I'm no showing, if there was a waitlist, or they were missing pay because you held up a spot (with your unlimited membership), to full and waitlisted class, or if you were going to be the only one in the class. But if I have something happen 11 hours prior, and cancel a half full class that has no waitlist, because I know I will be throwing up all night, it's $18. So even though it isn't even until tomorrow at 7:30 am, cancel at 8:00 pm and you're charged. Late cancellation I tried speaking with them about this to explain and the only person who was genuinely making me feel apart of the community was Sonia. She was the primary reason that I was still going to get a class pack after saying I had to cancel the membership. I genuinely looked forward to her classes and it made me feel normal. Again, I am genuinely glad that management has not ever had longterm health issues that cause debilitating issues that are not predictable 12 hours in advance.

They have a water station and provide toiletries (deodorant and pads) in the restroom. It's a clean studio. At the end of every class, they give you a wipe and spray to wipe down the reformers/equipment. Which is much nicer than a simple disinfectant wipe because it feels like you're actually cleaning everything. Sometimes it's hard to get into a class, sometimes you get off the waitlist quickly. It just depends on who the instructor is. Madison and Jen have great workouts that give you enough time in between to catch your breath. If you're looking for a challenge, take one of Sydney's classes. She will definitely work you out! There are quite a few people who go here regularly and still don't have the correct form or they move a lot quicker than how the exercise is supposed to be performed, so that should say something about how often the instructors take the time to provide corrections. Overall, it's a good place to start your pilates journey.

I was told via email that if I ever touch my phone again during class, even just to check notifications or emails in the last 3 minutes because of work I'll be kicked out. I already stopped using my phone like before. I explained my situation politely, but they don't care. The way they control members is ridiculous and disrespectful. I'm not a child in a classroom. It's just Pilates. There's no trust, no flexibility - just pure overcontrolling. I didn't know signing up for Pilates meant signing up for a stricter attendance policy than grad school. Catherine had the most soothing energy and guidance, she made it easy to follow along with her or to make modifications as needed. I left the studio feeling like my cup was full. I also love how the challenging nature of the classes is balanced with a calm, warm, and comfortable studio environment. I've been doing yoga for almost 15 years now and this is tied (with my first hot yoga studio in Albuquerque, NM) for my favorite studio of all time. You rock, Tula! Other stuff: - I love the classes from Angelique and Frank the most but I've truly never had a bad instructor. Laurel and Kyra are excellent too. - This studio offers a ton of different classes at different times. (I first started coming here because it was the only studio in the Redlands/Riverside area that offered evening hot yoga classes that worked with my work schedule.)

Since then, they've moved to a terrible location with 5 parking spots. I drove by there after PAYING for my class and there was NO parking and I took one look at the place and opted out anyways. It's in a very dangerous area- I'm not parking a half mile away to walk on a busy street at night as a small woman. This is really frustrating. Move to an unsafe location, have no parking, can't get your money back for a drop in class, the website NEVER works- and their prices haven't gone down so what exactly are we paying for? The owners Tesla in the private parking lot they have (behind a big black gate) because they know it's in an unsafe location. It's giving scam. Disappointing. I won't be back.
