Super nice local suburban business that's great for a girlfriends happy hour meet up, date night or family dinner. Tney have a large bar area and also self serve wine dispensers with a variety of popular wines. I recommend any of the flatbreads and the Study Abroad cocktail with the tasty lemoncello. One last bonus is they host local musicians and music writers in the small entertainment area up front. Check out the restaurant/bar on one of the live music and a featured songwriters nights. We sat at the bar for 25 minutes and he never asked us what we wanted to drink. I loved this! Great environment to enjoy some catch-up time with friends. The ambiance was just aswesome and the decor was so cute! The bathroom wallpapers made me laugh! You have to see it. Some friends and I had about an hour to kill before our sons' hockey game. The Regal Room is conveniently located just 3 minutes from the rink. We received a warm welcome from the bartender when we walked in the door. We were immediately impressed by the elevated, yet cozy, decor. It is indeed a regal room. I ordered the seasonal Mrs. Claus and it was fantastic. Other friends ordered an espresso martini, a chocolate martini, and a lemon drop martini. They all raved about their cocktails. I visited this place a little over two years ago with one friend and we were stunned when we got a $200 bill during happy hour. When we asked about it, they said whatever night we were there wasn't happy hour. I think it's weird when bars only have happy hour two or three nights during the week, but I guess that one was on me for not paying attention. I heard last week that they will be on an upcoming episode of Bar Rescue and saw their Instagram posts about updating so I thought I'd give them another shot. First of all, it smelled odd in there. One would think that with a recent renovation it might smell like new wood or new construction. It was more of a stale smell. Kind of like when you first suspect something is starting to go bad in your refrigerator but you just can't decide for sure. There were several older people in there. I'm nearly a senior myself, so that isn't a big deal for me, but if you're looking for young energy, it's not here. I do have to say I like the physical changes they made. It looks pretty cool in there and I like how dark it is and the little sofa alcoves are groovy. However - why did they skip updating the bathrooms? They don't match the vibe at all and even seem a little dingy now. The bartender brought me water right away and took my first drink order promptly. After that I felt sort of invisible. Granted, I was reading an e-book and didn't want to make conversation with anyone, but I almost had to flag him down to get a second drink. I set my debit card on the bar as a sign I wanted to close my tab but he walked by it three or four times and then disappeared for over five minutes. The drinks were really tasty and mostly unique. I didn't have any food but the couple next to me had the cheese plate and it looked good. Overall, I don't necessarily need to go back. I wouldn't refuse to go if someone invited me, but I wouldn't be excited. I definitely want to watch their episode and I hope they do well. read more

First of all amazing upgrades! What a difference! It's super cute! I loved the atmosphere, it's so different from what it was before. Great job on the upgrades. The service was great! Someone in our party group didn't like their drink so they apologized and quickly re-did it the drink and it turned out great. They didn't hesitate to rectify the problem. They were very attentive. The menu is small. I wish they had two or three additional options on the menu but overall good. I ordered the chicken pesto flatbread. It was tasty but I wouldn't call it flatbread. It's pretty thick spongy bread, which again was tasty but far from flat. Their cocktails are delicious and have really fun names! I will certainly be back and will refer to this place as the Regal Beagle, because it has a fun and cool vibe! I highly recommend! I wish them much success! read more

I've been here a few times now and figured that it's time to share my thoughts. Giving this place a 4 rating as I haven't tried the food yet but the charcuterie boards and other items coming from the kitchen all look amazing. They don't have your typical bar food; fries, burgers, etc. if that is more your vibe. The drinks by themselves deserve a 5 star rating. It's very rare that you find this level of true uniqueness, true creativity in a beverage program in a spot far away downtown Nashville with free parking. I was acknowledged promptly and the staff and one of the owners answered all of my rudimentary questions about the various liqueurs that they have and the inspiration behind name. Keep in mind that it takes time to craft some of these quality concoctions and it's going to take a tad longer than a rum & coke order. I'll be heading back soon. read more

Came here just before Halloween and they had lots of cute halloween decorations that really added to the vibe. They also had fun fall cocktails for us to try and we took full advantage. For our first round, my date and I ordered the Fall Fashion and Pear Necessities. He loved his Fall Fashion which was fall twist on an old fashion but I found my Pear Necessities to be just okay. So for my second round I got the Three Broomstick (my date ordered the Fall Fashion again since he enjoyed it so much) which was similar to a sangria and I like it a lot. (If you're not feeling cocktails, they also have a wine tap which gives you lots of opportunities to try different wines and choose the one that's right for you.) They also gave us colored popcorn to munch on while ate which we enjoyed, though the dyed black popcorn turned our teeth, lips, and fingers a purple so we avoided these and just stuck to the orange ones for the most part. The service was also really great. The waiter was kind and patient as we asked him lots of questions to help us find the right cocktail. We also ended up staying past closing, and they were really nice about it and let finish our cocktails as they were cleaning up. All the cocktails were insanely well-balanced-- my personal favorite was gangster of love (milk clarified; I don't normally love tiki drinks but this really did it for me). The smoked dad Bod was my other favorite (definitely smoke it!). The garlic tomato flatbread was also filling and delicious. At one point the waitress was behind the bar and asked us if we needed anything and I said yes a new drink. It was another 10 minutes before that came. We put our credit card on the bar .... It was not acknowledged for over 10 minutes and not until I waived to the bartender. I appreciate the businesses are short staffed right now.
