Big flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely worth it. Add in the Wild Shrimp Scampi and the Calamari--both cooked just right--and we were off to a strong start. The bread was good but I wasn't a fan of the spreads, I'm a BUTTER person, these were more like bean spreads. The brussels sprouts with pork were also really good. Hubby and I split a mixed green salad that was pretty mediocre, and the croutons were almost too hard to chew. Then came the pork, which was a dissapointment. It was so tough it actually got caught in my throat a couple times despite chewing it well. We didn't even finish it. For the price, it should have been tender and full of flavor, and it was neither. My friend ordered the duck pasta and said it had "weird pieces of meat" in it. Her husband got the filet and loved it, so at least someone at the table was happy.
