We came on a Monday night after eight when they do the board and wine deal so good $25. You get a bottle of wine and a bruschetta board there's four of us and we did three bottles of wine and three boards so got to try a bunch of different kinds of toast and everything was so good. We sat inside, but they also have a really cute patio! Our waitress was so sweet

Came here for the board and wine deal they do on Tuesdays. This was great to share with friends. You got to try a lot of different types of the bruschetta toast. We enjoyed the rosé and the Elote bruschetta most overall great vibes we sat inside with the patio looks cute.

Wow, oddly impressed with this place- hard to believe it's a chain! Stumbled in here for some lunch after shopping. The bartender Adam was super friendly. Cool vibe, loved all the old TVs behind the bar. The soup of the day was Italian meatball which Adam highly recommended. I opted for the half and half, doing the soup and the Tuscan tuna panini on ciabatta. Both were 10/10 good! I wasn't planning on drinking, but their happy hour is such a steal, I couldn't pass it up. Got a great $15 glass of Chard for only $6. Highly recommend.

Overall an mazing experience. Excellent options for beer or wine was listed. Even provided samples before making a full commitment. We decided to each get a separate bruschetta board with four options of choice. Was my first time so I also ordered a salad to ensure my appetite was satisfied. The two of us could have easily shared the one bruschetta order. Definitely didn't go light on the toppings. They were each delicious in their own way. Really love to warm and welcoming indoor atmosphere. The entire service Team made the entire visit very memorable. Definitely be making another visit soon.

Made my way back to Postino for another night of delicious food! I got some different bruschettas this time and they're SO delicious! I really enjoyed the artichoke spread and appreciated the modifications the could make to allergies on this board. The service was great and this came out super quick!

Love coming here for their daytime drink happy hours and Monday and Tuesday night board specials. The staff are super welcoming and patio is dog friendly. Great ambiance inside and outdoors. Patio seating is covered for the winter weather. Perfect for casual drinks or a weekend brunch!

Tried the famous Postino boards!! I was super excited to dig into the bruschettas - we got the brie, apple, and fig spread; prosciutto di parma, fig & marscapone; smoked salmon & pesto; and the chef's special (it had spicy dried tomatoes and brussel sprouts). Each of these were delicious! We also got one of their paninis and that was also perfection. Would 100% be returning to Postino 12!

Postino 12 South is a good place to get some drinks and share food with friends. We reserved a table later in the evening on a Saturday and it was not very busy. The music was enjoyable and it was fun to try out several different menu items- the smoked salmon bruschetta, espresso martini, donuts were our favorites! What wasn't fabulous was an almost flavorless salad, and several bruschetta choices that didn't live up to my expectations (Perhaps different/more-toasted bread could help). Even so, It was a pleasant overall experience!!

A delicious lunch! The combo of the salty prosciutto, creaminess of the brie, acidity of the vinegar, and sweetness of the fig jam was DELIGHTFUL! And can't beat happy hour beer prices! The restaurant itself was cute but it loses a star unfortunately because the bathroom was downright disgusting. Despite the gross bathroom, our food was delicious and our server was attentive and helpful.

Food was delicious. This is a seriously good local place to get a nice tapas type meal. I had a lovely sparkling rosè. Then a panini with salad and the other ordered a charcuterie board and 3 bruchetta sampler. All were very good and surprisingly filling! Nick also gave us wonderful service!

Enjoyed lunch with the fam! Started with a bruschetta board - we took advantage of the gluten-free bread option so that everyone could partake. So good! Our faves were the salami pesto and the hot pepper jelly goat cheese, but everything was good. For entrees we had: Favorite: the select two with the Italian beef dip - sooo good!!! + the green garden chicken chop (a little bummed the chicken was like deli meat, and it was a little dry, but not bad) Potato Leek Soup + Raspberry Chicken Salad Chicken + Mozzarella Panini We tried the apricot palmer, blackberry smash, and a Naked Ranch Water (quite bitter - too much lime maybe?) - appreciated all of the NA options! We were tucked away in a booth so it was quiet and we could talk freely. For a more lively experience the patio or the main dining area are the place to be. Our server was busy but checked in periodically to make sure we knew our food was coming.

Just finished a relaxing brunch with the family at Postino's 12 South. Also, just found out this is a chain. Since it is the only one in Nashville, much less TN, it's a stand alone to me and quite good. Twelve South has a very active eating culture with many favorites. Parking is challenging but the walks aren't too aweful. Postino's brunch is much better than the well known one down the street. The atmosphere is open and relaxed, not crammed. The outdoor seating looks great but not on the chilly day we were here. Reservations are recommended on the weekend and we had them but they wouldn't have been necessary before noon. We were seated by our server upon our arrival. The wine list covers a wide range of flavors but isn't very deep. The full bar can conjure anything. Kyle came back serveral times to get multiple orders. Menu items are closer to tapas to be enjoyed while drinking, so Postino's might not be your number 1 dining location but great for a gather place or pre-dinner cocktail. We popped around the menu trying different things. For us, the bruschetta is reminiscent of smorrebrod, Danish open-faced sandwiches. Those are a hit with us. Everything felt house made with carefully thought out flavors. Tops was the salmon pesto bruschetta and the vanilla glaze dipping sauce for the donut bites. By the way, excellent preparation of the eggs. With its central location, this is a great place for us to gather and talk.

It's a great wine bar with an amazing selection of natural wines, delicious food, the best service, and an amazing ambiance. What's not to like? Sauced works a little bit differently than a lot of wine bars. We walked in and were welcomed right away. When we grabbed seats at the bar (there are also tables), our bartender (I feel terrible that I'm not 100% sure of his name since we had such a great time with him - but I'm pretty sure it was John) asked us about wines we like or are drawn to. They don't have a printed menu - they ask you what you like or are in the mood for and then they they'll pour you tastes until you find something you love. Then they have several fridges of bottles you can purchase and open. And their selection here is also great. We saw bottles by several winemakers we stalk (when we see, we usually buy). The wines our bartender recommended (based on our tastes and preferences) were great, too. They also have a great menu of food items - great for a meal or a snack. We ordered their mortadella sandwich, which will likely go down as one of my favorite sandwiches of the year (great bread, tons of mortadella, pistachio cream, gooey melted cheese)... I think I covered this already, but the service was excellent: attentive (we didn't have empty glasses for long at all before we were involved in a conversion about what we wanted to pour next), friendly, helpful... The bar itself is also great - tons of character: walls with smoke from candles, great lighting, little intimate nooks for seating... I had a great time at Sauced: great wine, great food, a great time. I'm not in Nashville as often as I should be (in laws), but I'd be happy to visit Sauced every time I'm in Nashville. Sauced might be an outpost of a Brooklyn wine bar, but Nashville is still so lucky to have it. Most cities don't have a wine bar as great as Sauced.

While I enjoy getting to talk to the bartender about what I like or may want to try, if they're busy, I don't want to just spend all of our time asking them the price of things. We definitely had a little sticker shock at the end of the night, but this was also my first time here so that could be something I just wasn't expecting! Aside from that, the service and wines were great. So while it isn't somewhere I see myself putting in my weekly rotation, it's a nice option for a special occasion or nicer evening.

Despite the hotel setting, it feels a bit more 'for the locals' than lower Broad does these days. So whether you are entertaining out of town guests or want to have drinks Downtown, this just might be the spot you're looking for. I had something to celebrate and I wanted to do so in style. It was mid-spring and the weather was perfect so I wanted to take advantage of the short window. I took a ride share to the hotel bc ain't no one got time for Downtown parking rates and bee-lined it to the Lou/Na elevator at the back of the lobby. Once I hit the rooftop, my Friday night began. The atmosphere is every bit as dark, moody (in a good way) and smartly-illuminated as expected. Since I was here for views and good weather, I asked the hostess for an outdoor table. She obliged and I was soon perched along the edge of the roof, staring into the twinkling lights of our ever-expanding skyline. It was well-past the dinner hour and I was craving something sweet. After chatting with my helpful server, I decided on the creme brulee and an espresso martini. Both were excellent. The brulee had a perfect crust and delectable custard that paired well with the martini that veered closer to dry than sweet. I appreciated that. It showed effort went into making the cocktail. I was in my own head so I minded my business and didn't do too much people watching. Despite the time of year and good weather, the roof wasn't too packed. It wasn't empty but it wasn't bustling. That was fine by me but I'm sure the management would disagree. I would point out that Lou/Na has gotten even more popular since when I visited so I'm confident that the crowd on good weather nights has increased. If that's your thing, head over on a Friday. If not, check it out during the week. But if well-made cocktails in a beautiful environment outside the madness of Lower Broad but still Downtown is on your radar, you know where you need to go and what to do. Lou/Na should be in your rotation.

The curse of Rumours continues!…read more I don't know that any business can survive this address. My first BW review of the year and it seems to have come as a surprise. Whispers abound as to whether the issue at VG was a rent hike or whether the owner just lost interest. In any event, it's the same sad story at the corner of 12th and Woodland. And that's too bad because VG acquitted itself nicely. On a Friday in mid-spring it was the exact right place I wanted to be to catch up with a friend. That backyard has been the stuff of legends for every iteration for a reason. If you've been here for a while, you know the score: walk in the front, smile, be greeted, ask for a table outside. That's just what we did. But before that we got drinks. Being a wine bar and being happy hour and being a Friday we went all in on the house red sangria. Served in a pleasantly large goblet, this goodie jar of wine and fruit did the job of quenching thirst and spurring conversation. To add to the libations, we settled on a series of bites: whipped feta (with sourdough -- and every bit of decadent as described in other reviews), olive tapenade (a briny, mound of oil, citrus and herbs) and (skinny) fries with parmesan & white truffle oil. Right?? What a perfect way to end the work week and begin the weekend. We had wonderful service from Abby and stayed on premises well into sundown. There was a steady crowd throughout our visit so I don't think a lack of business was the COD. Whatever the reason, it sort of boggles the mind that a wine bar concept can't stick around in a neighborhood and location that seems to crave it. That curse might be real.

I thought both were ok, nothing super memorable, but tasty nonetheless. Maybe it was just my taste, but the sprouts were a little too charred for me. Found free street parking not too far from the restaurant. Our waitress gave us good wine recs which I appreciated! I liked all the Van Gogh artwork, especially the paper mache ear!

They have happy hour until 6 pm & on Sundays 5 until close they have glasses of opened bottles for $8. I've gotten to try wines I don't typically drink during this time. They have small bites if you don't want any of the food in the market. Everyone is kind & answer questions. Parking is validated in the lot, or you can park on the street.

A friend and I stopped by around 4 PM on a Thursday evening to take advantage of their "Golden Hour" specials. There's a good amount of space to spread out if you have a bigger group, but we just grabbed a few seats at the bar. The owner, Taylor, was also tending the bar during our visit, and he walked us through the concept while also providing thoughtful wine recommendations. We both started with a glass of crisp and cold prosecco, and then switched over to try Vino Volta, which kind of tasted like a good craft beer's bubbly cousin. They even have a few light bites on their menu if you need something to snack on - but since they're located in L&L Market, there's plenty of other food options nearby as well! This is a special place to sit and sip on high quality, curated wines with good company, and I'm confident I'll be back again soon.

The location is situated at the back of a large building with several other businesses. There was plenty of street parking in the area. Upon arriving, you can order at the counter or at the outdoor window. The inside is beautiful, and has a few small tables, in addition to several outdoor tables. Our group ordered several varieties of wine and bread, as well as the pork fat fries and the spinach dip. Since the menu rotates, I definitely plan to come back to try their other offerings! The lounge atmosphere is perfect for groups!

Originally when I heard about this place I thought hmmm why would I go to a ~just~ a bread place? I thought, Im a girl who likes to eat I need more. Well, this place was suggested by a friend to catch up. I completely miss judged butterlamp- of course, I should've known to give it a try. Located at the back of the building you can enter through going around back or walking through the building. Its a small place, but they have tables and bar seating. The wine menu is glorious. So much to choose from. I like how you order at the bar because it gives you a chance to see what everyone else is drinking as they keep the open bottles up front. I asked the staff what I should order based on wanting a chilled red. They gave me tow options. I chose a Nebbiolo and loved it! We ordered two "bread with stuff". We got the pumpkin and the french onion. Both were amazing! We went at 2 pm so it was the perfect snack. They did have a fairly diverse menu. Music was upbeat and chill and at the perfect volume to have an enjoyable conversation. They also sell loaves of bread to go, which of course we got.

Loved Locust a few nights ago, but so impressed with this spot. At a similar level here. No star, however. One of the best meals I have had in Nashville this year. Charcuterie and cheese board better than Grey's and I love Grey's. Crepes are crepes, not thin pancakes. Wine selection or of this world. Service staff is owners and Somalier. I can't say enough good things. You won't find the Pastis French meals, as this is mostly a creperie, but you won't find the prices either. Will return soon. Kudos to the owners

The Authentique truly feels like a little piece of France tucked into East Nashville. The décor, the vibe, hearing so many different languages around us, it honestly felt like being back in Europe. They have one of the most impressive wine lists I've seen in the city, and if you're indecisive like me, the wine flights are the way to go. We did the Tour de France flight, my husband went with the whites, I did the reds, and everything was incredible. The Beaujolais, Pinot Noir, Chards (yes, because we of course shared haha)... just wow. We paired it all with steak tartare (yes, they have French bites too!), plus they offer charcuterie boards, crepes, and more. Definitely coming back for those. Bonus: every Tuesday they host wine tastings at the bar led by their sommelier, each week with a different theme, mostly French and other European wines. tickets can be purchased in their website Huge thank you to Alexander for walking us through the whole concept. We finished the night with a beautiful Blanc de Blanc to toast our anniversary. What a gem in Nashville, can't wait to be back.
