There isn't a weight room per se; you work with different instructors and trainers and use the weights, TRX, cables, punching bags, etc. available. There are numerous group fitness classes for all interests from times ranging as early as 7am to 7pm: TRX, TRX Strong, TRX Bootcamp, TRX Express, H.I.T.T., F.I.T., Strength and Conditioning, Total Body ABC (Arms, Butt, Core), Box Fit, HIITBox, CoreBox, Total Body Circuit Training, ETHOS Bootcamp, Yoga. There are also certified massage therapists on site that do various massage modalities and therapies, including the Grafton Technique, trigger-point therapy, Swedish, and cupping. I've taken several classes with Anna Bohen Judge. Anna Bohen Judge is a yoga, TRX fitness instructor, and personal trainer that is one of several instructors at Ethos. I've attended her TRX and yoga and even had some personal training from her. Anna is extremely patient and kind, offering help with form and making modifications for those with physical limitations. Her TRX class is pretty awesome, using Tabatas in H.I.T.T. format as part of the program. Her restorative yoga class takes away stress and any aches and pains. I also went to massage therapist Joy Snow for help with my chronic shoulder issue and arm. She not only worked out the issue, but also explained to me why it may have happened and exercises to do in order to prevent it in the future. Ethos offers an excellent array of classes and services. There are several different membership offerings, plus punch cards that are highly reasonable. I highly recommend this gym for your fitness needs.

Downsides: not as robust an assortment of strength training equipment as you'd find at the Edge, restrictive cell phone policy (says to not use your phone for anything besides music while working out - so no texting your partner when you'll be home, no using an app to log your lifts), sauna is nice but slick with sweat because few people use towels, very limited parking, always somewhat busy and INCREDIBLY crowded at peak times (be prepared for long waits for equipment around 5pm weekdays - the facility is very much over capacity at certain times).

Soon the doors will be closing. The owner of Synergy is fanatical about keeping the gym clean, equipment in fully operational condition. When you walk in there is a stack of ready disinfectant spray bottles and clean towels. Everyone is expected to wipe down the equipment after use. The customers come in steady but never had I had a time where I couldn't get a workout in. The ages and fitness level varies greatly, so if your a beginner you should never feel intimidated. There are trainers and if you need help you can ask any of us at the gym and we will gladly help. Becca M wrote about a gym goer that was harassing her. She gave a bad review of the gym for that. Did she address it with the owner? You can't slam the gym for what a customer does without giving the owner a chance to address it. There's always going to be some who do not respect others. But my over a year experience at Synergy I have never seen this. Most likely a Female or Male that is in good shape and showing it, others are working out to try to be like them. Hey if you work hard and look good, show it off because it isn't gonna last forever and your in a place that understands what it takes to get there!! Top of the line equipment, clean where you could do floor exercises anywhere and not get up filty. A friendly atmosphere and the classic radio station you can hear but not so loud you can't carry on a conversion with another members. I strongly suggest you give it a try.

They had construction going on at one side of the gym and when I asked the girl at the front desk, she told me the area used to be part of the gym but their next door business took it from them. Which means the gym is getting even smaller. I was like ok, not a big deal at the moment. Last straw that made me decide to leave this place for good and write this review is a harassment from one of the gym goers. I was in the free weights area doing some squats and I noticed a nasty looking creature staring at me and pointing the backside of his phone toward me, most likely filming. I felt very uncomfortable with the amount of staring so I left the room and went to another room to continue my workout with dumbbells. A few minutes later, the same creature came to the room, took off his shirt and started to pose in front of the mirror and kept staring at me. I was completely freaked out at this point so I ended my workout and left the place. The nasty creature is a roided short male covered with long sleeve tattoos on both arms with skull pictures and women, side stomach big skull tattoo, and a big "USAF" tattoo on his chest. If you belong to the USAF or have been at one point in your life, you should live up to the title. What a creepy old man. I have never experienced that kind of behavior at any other gym places I used to go to. I felt gross after this experience. I don't recommend this "gym" to any young woman.

The gym is big enough to have everything you need in a gym, with no waiting, but small enough to have a great community feel. Almost like Cheers, you walk in and are greeted with a welcome. I like the other people who go there and have gotten to know the regulars. The classes are fun and always a great workout Some classes are during the day and some after or before hours. Stacy is my personal trainer and it's been great. She really listened to my goals, she is hyper-focused on form and safety, and has provided coaching and recommendations on my eating habits to help me get where I want to be. It's the cleanest and most functionally 'usable' gym(not cluttered, easy to maneuver) I have been to (and I have been to a lot of gyms). The Salon: I have gotten a haircut, color, a blowout, and a spray tan. Stacy listens to what you want and provides recommendations. The results are great! And it's nice that she works early and late, which most stylists don't do. I can easily get in and out before work. This is a great woman-owned small business with a community feel and all of the amenities you could want. I highly recommend it.
