Very attentive to my cats and they were both super friendly right away which is rare for them. I will be back again!

After consulting with both our primary veterinarian and an oncologist, we were faced with the difficult reality that advanced cancer treatments were financially out of reach and carried only about a 15% chance of extending her life. Bella was given a prognosis of 1-3 months. Our veterinarian suggested exploring holistic care and referred us to Dr. Haley. From our very first visit, when Dr. Haley came to our home to meet Bella, we felt reassured and supported. She developed a thoughtful treatment plan focused on comfort and well-being, and because of her care, we were blessed with five and a half more months with our girl. Our priority was Bella's quality of life, and that goal was not only met but exceeded. Dr. Haley is professional, kind, punctual, and generous with her knowledge. We will forever be grateful for the compassion and care she showed Bella and our family, and we would recommend her over and over!

With acupuncture and several supplements, Fiona, has made remarkable strides and not only has her strength improved but it seems the progress of her cancer has slowed. Thank you so much Daphne for your continued care of our beautiful Fiona.

Hi. We took our dog to Sea Legs Integrative Vet in West Roxbury due to a torn ACL, arthritis, etc…read more and it was a very poor experience. Our pet had gone through rehab years before at a different location for a torn ACL on the other side and ultimately had surgery, but at his advanced age we decided not to do the surgery with its long recovery for this side. Session 1. The setting up of the initial appointment was great and the vet Dr. Jaclyn Coble was very responsive, fit us in right away. The staff were also very friendly. We went to the first appointment and the vet was examining our dog's knees and then went to do the Soundwave ultrasound on the wrong knee and when I pointed out that she had the wrong knee she said she thought that it had felt fine on that side (the side he has a titanium TTA in). I wondered why she was willing to do the procedure on a healthy knee. She made some comment about reading through his records, but I had not sent her his records. She proceeded and did the soundwave therapy on the now correct knee, but needed guidance from her vet tech, vet nurse on how to get the machine to work. Her examination on the wrong knee was $295 &$350 for the soundwave ultrasound for total charge for session I of $645 Session 2. We returned a week later to do rehab. First they did warm laser therapy. Then, they had our dog do an obstacle course, stand on an uneven surface. Finally, they had him use the underwater treadmill. While he was on the treadmill, they attached the neck collar at the front of the machine to him (there is nowhere for him to go as the treadmill walls are 4 feet high), but they had the treadmill going so slow that our dog was riding it to the back of the treadmill before he would walk and it was stretching on the collar so I very quickly untied the collar so that he did not get choked. No Session 3. We returned for the second soundwave session and the vet tech/nurse took us into the room and shaved his knee and they were going to start the procedure and I asked why the doctor was not doing it this time, if she was going to see him and they said that they were more than capable. I was not questioning if they were capable, but I did wonder how she would know if he was any better without seeing him. They went to get her and suffice it to say that it went downhill from there and we did not have the second soundwave and we will not be returning. I love my dog and I am willing to do anything to help him have a good quality of life, but this vet did not instill confidence, lied about reading his records, did not know what knee was injured, did not know how to use the machine, let them tie his collar on a moving machine and was either willing to do a procedure on a healthy knee or worse did not realize it was a healthy knee. We had done rehab with the first torn ACL, laser, water treadmill, obstacle/uneven surface so this isn't that the experience is new to us, but I have never felt such a lack of faith in a provider.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT ABOUT YOUR PET…read more Today I had one of the worst healthcare experiences of my life at Bond Vet - Somerville. Full story below. My dog has been a Bond Vet patient for years. Last week, he was treated for an issue that did not resolve with the prescribed antibiotics. I called the Somerville office last night to explain my concerns about his ongoing symptoms and was instructed that I should bring him in right away this morning for an emergency appointment. When I arrived, there were 0 other patients in the office - all exam rooms were empty, as was the waiting room. I asked the receptionist, Hannah, how long I should expect to wait and she informed me that Dr. Rahel Lungo was in the back doing paper work and would not be able to see my pet. I explained that I had specifically taken time off from work to bring my pet in, per the office's insturctions, and expressed my confusion that a veterinarian could not take a few minutes to evaluate a sick patient already sitting in the clinic. Despite this, I was told there was "nothing they could do" and was directed to drive to another Bond Vet location 30 minutes away. I found the entire interaction unacceptable. This was one of the least patient-centric healthcare experiences I have ever encountered. The issue was not capacity constraints or an overwhelmed office - the clinic was visibly empty. The issue was a complete lack of accountability, urgency, and basic compasion from Dr. Rahel Lungo. It is deeply concerning to me that a veterinary organization that positions itself as modern and customer-focused would treat a long-standing patient in this manner. As a result of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my pet to Bond Vet. To Bond Vet - I encourage you to assess if this a problem isolated to Dr. Rahel Lungo or if this is a broader reflection of Bond Vet's position on patient care.

They consistently have trouble drawing blood, and the appointments always feel rushed, like they're trying to move on to the next patient as quickly as possible. On top of that, the pricing is pretty outrageous for the level of care provided. It's disappointing because the location and setup are great, but the experience just hasn't felt thorough or worth the cost.

I brought my dog in to have a vaccination shot. I asked if I could also speak to the vet for approximately 5 minutes because I had a question about my dogs' behavior. I was the only one in the place. I was told that no, I was just here for a vaccination and would have to make a separate appointment if I wanted to speak to the vet. When we were back in the room, I again asked if I could have 5 minutes of the vet's time for a basic question about my dog's behavior. Again, I was told that I was here for the vaccination and not an appointment with the vet. I thought that if I had an appointment at the vet clinic, I would not need a separate appointment to speak with the vet. Apparently so. Granted by this time I was pretty disgusted with the whole situation. Made a comment that "it's not rocket science" (which that comment was put in my dog's medical record). Finally, I just told them to give my dog the vaccine. Now, my dog has had multiple vaccines without even so much as a whimper or a flinch. Well today, my dog flinched. He even urinated on the table which he has never done previously when receiving a vaccine. I promptly requested that all my dog's medical records be emailed to me because I would not be returning to this clinic. The email prefaced that they had inactivated my account, and I should find a clinic that can better suit my needs. Hmmmm, my needs were to speak to a vet when I was present at the vet clinic. After relaying this experience to a coworker, she stated that she had gone there ONCE and it was a horrific experience. I was told that their business practice has drastically declined in the recent years. I am witness to that.

The staff is friendly and my vet, Dr Catherine Maclean, is absolutely amazing and a well educated provider. Both my dogs come here and receive stellar treatment. They send text reminders for appointments. They even call the next day after an appointment to see how their patients are doing after vaccines. That is a huge personal touch! I feel the negative reviews posted here are unreasonable. Never once did I ever get the impression the practice is out for money. We searched the internet and found Top Dog Pet Sitting Service! This company were not only very responsive, including the owner, but they did an outstanding job in reassuring us that our puppy was in great hands! We started by making an account and profile on Chloe and it was so easy and user friendly! We then chose our time of day we wanted them to come and our preferences of how many times and how long we wanted the pet sitter to stay. When everything was booked, we met Cassandra and Alisha and Chloe loved them RIGHT away! That was something my husband and I really liked, is that the sitters who would be watching her, met her prior to us going away. All of this happened in a span of 2 weeks since our original plans of who would watch Chloe fell through. During the trip, Cassandra and Alisha were AMAZING! We received email updates with pictures after every bedtime visit (we chose 3 visits a day with just one update but you can customize to however you want!). Those pictures and updates are what got us through the week! It was great because the girls not only cleaned up fuzz and animal pieces from her toys, but also helped clean the containers that had her food in them. During that week, Chloe was on a special diet of chicken and rice as well as medicine and a powder probiotic. the girls did WONDERFUL with managing that entire situation. Jessica, the owner was also beyond amazing for getting back to us so quickly when it was the day before we left for our vacation and she had to be put on all of this medicine and special diet. This company was amazing and we will most definitely be using them again in the future and going to be requesting the same 2 girls since Chloe loved them so much! I cannot recommend this company enough for all of your dog sitting and pet needs!!! :)
