I have mixed feelings about this place. I'll take you through my entire experience: I arrived at 8:30 for a 9:00 facial appointment, and Greenleaf was closed. I wouldn't make my appointment that early again. In all fairness, on the spa's website they list their opening time as 9:00. However, I'm accustomed to arriving early (usually about 15 minutes, but I overestimated the time it would take to drive there) so I can relax a little prior to receiving the service. Today, I spent my relaxation time standing outside the door. At about 8:45, a couple arrived. The man was nice, but the woman seemed tired and only smiled weakly as she passed me. She didn't invite me in, but I followed her anyway, anxious to sit down inside. I handed her a SpaFinder gift certificate, printed from an email, and she said she didn't know how to process it and had never seen one before. I wasn't sure what to say, and she asked me to have a seat in the waiting area, where I could hear very clearly her discussion with a SpaFinder representative, to whom she expressed concern over the reimbursement for my visit. Next I was ushered to another room for my facial. Though it is not pivotal in my experience, I am a fan of good ambiance. Unfortunately, this room didn't really have any. There were two large, dark stains on the ceiling tiles above me, and I felt really tense. When the woman entered to do my facial, she didn't ask me anything about my skin. (I've been to three other spas for facials, and I've always received a consultation and enjoy that part of the visit.) The facial itself, though, was nice. I only wish the woman hadn't scrubbed my face so hard with the towels...and the steam she used to open my pores was directed too sharply at my nose and mouth, making it a little difficult to breathe comfortably. In any case, she did a good job with extractions, and I liked the mask she used. It was evident she was also trained in massage therapy. Perhaps my favorite parts of the facial were when she massage my neck, shoulders, and hands. After the facial, the woman seemed much nicer. It is entirely possible she is just not a morning person. Anyway, I can't decide if I want to return there or not. Greenleaf might be a better place to patronize for massages and waxing. read more

The spa is a very beautiful and the staff was very warm and friendly. I am here from out of town and was able to get an Appointment on very short notice. Kelly made me feel very comfortable and was kind and professional. I would highly recommend her services to anyone who was fortunate enough to live locally or just passing through town such myself. read more

My wife and I have been going here for couples massages since I got back from Iraq in 2006. Ever tried to rub a years worth of war away? This place is awesome. Although the staff has changed a few times in the last 9 years, the atmosphere is always relaxing and the staff is always super friendly. My son purchased a gift certificate for me. I traveled 12 miles to my appointment and was told they overbooked. Okay anyone could have a problem. I rescheduled for another time and they were not open. I stood outside 20 minutes waiting and no call or no one showed up. As I made my journey back home, I received a call stating they had just arrived and I could come back. NOT. I ask for a refund, due to not ever getting an appointment. They took my address and I never received it. Sure not a way to run a business. Apparently they don't want to deal with gift certificates, after their purchased. read more

For Christmas 2012 I received a very lovely ( and expensive) gift certificate for Greenleaf Day Spa as did my sister from my partner, who sadly unexpectedly died shortly after Christmas. I have not been in the emotional place to cash in on the gift certificate until now. NOWHERE ON THE GIFT CERTIFICATE DOES IT HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE. When I called to make an appt. I was told that they expire after 2 years..... and that they only tell the person who purchases the certificate that bit of information. As I said to Ned at the spa, it is kind of hard to confirm that, to which he agreed. Didn't offer me squat. Doesn't seem to me like they need to have any goodwill out there about their spa or their policies. I hope it is that good, but I kinda doubt it. Very Very unprofessional. read more

I first went for a massage. It was rough and I left with so much oil on my skin I could scrape it off. The atmosphere and suite they use is a little dated and dark. I decided to give them another try and I recently went for a body wax. They charged me twice what another salon charged me and the service was bare minimum. They ONLY USE hard wax and they do not use tweezers so they repeatedly put hot wax on the sensitive skin. The also do not use any cooling products on your skin afterwards like most estheticians do. It was a very awkward atmosphere and I felt uncomfortable. I would not recommend going here for those new to body waxing. I hate to leave a bad review but I just need to be honest. I'm not even sure if the lady is certified, there were no certificates out in the open besides the service dog certificate behind the counter. read more

Would not recommend Greenleaf Spa. Very poor customer service. Cancelled an appointment 4 times. Did not return my calls.
