I was grocery shopping in Port Clinton, saw this nice looking small town business and turned around to check it out. I received a prompt service call. The owner gave an honest response personally inspection /tear down the appliance and discussed the repair costs without any attempts at upselling. After careful cost vs equipment age consideration, I decided to purchase a different appliance and visited the Frank showroom in Port Clinton. Nice stock and they can source pretty much anything else. I did take a bit of an upsell to a much nicer machine asimpressed with the quality of the appliance and the matching dryer. The negotiation process was seamless, and I was able to secure a competitive price. I still have them today. Since then, we have expanded our purchases to include a stove, refrigerator, freezer, garage refrigerator, dishwasher, and television. Each of these items was purchased with negotiation, to match or come close to the prices offered by large retailers. The delivery process is straightforward, as all appliances are set up, tested, and functioning properly by Frank Sales before they are delivered. In addition to our appliance purchases, we have also benefited from affordable repairs on some of our older appliances. One memorable experience involved a new stove with a different location plug that had to be moved. Frank Sales was able to diagnose the problem and reposition the plug / wiring within the drywall. If I did the bib box store drop, this would have been a task that would require another professional to come out to install due to my zero home repair expertise. The staff at Frank's Appliances are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and able to provide excellent recommendations. They understand my interest in technology and gadgets, which makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. We called them for their "service call". Where they sent their tech, who came and "fixed it" after doing just a factory reset claiming that it fixed all the issues . Day after, I attempted to wash a load with the same issues of it not running water in the soap drawer leaving bleach un-useable and fabric softners unuseable . Along with the faulty soap drawer, we have had issues , with the towels cycle, delicate cycle, and tub wash cycle. All giving us the same issues and giving us an error code. Which their old tech can't do anything to fix because obviously hasn't been schooled in this new technology with washers. They only have 1 tech , who is useless to the situation aside from blaming it on "the amount of soap put in", if thats really the case whats the point of the max line in which has never been poured above. So unless your okay buying something that may or may not work properly. Aswell as their "repair" service which is a complete scam which doesnt fix the problem. Make it your call to shop else where.

So this was my salvation during a quasi bad trip to Ohio. I'm sort of weird on occasion I like to…read morego into a cemetery and take some photographs. First it gives me a new edge, lets me see things in a different way and capture photos I normally wouldn't because I don't go into a cemetery every day. Second it's just very soothing, can be very beautiful and it's also pretty quiet, the cemetery is my odd place for some solitude. I had some disagreements with the friends I chose to travel with and I ended up at this cemetery just to be by myself because I needed time alone. It was absolutely beautiful, the grave stones and grounds were stunning. I'm still not sure how I plan to go out when I die, if I want to be buried or cremated but if I was going to be buried this would be an optimal place for it even though I have no real ties to Ohio besides taking one trip there.

We had an awful experience. While my dad was en route, via ambulance from Cleveland Clinic in Avon,…read moremy mom and I got to Stein 20 minutes early. When we got off the elevator, there was no one there to greet us, but oh well, we were early (a general sign in the lobby area would be nice if you can't afford to have someone there to greet visitors). When I found a nurse sitting at a computer, I introduced myself and asked which room would be for my dad (we were told to bring items from home to make the room feel more comfortable) so we could lay out the blanket and set pictures on the bedside table. The nurse literally looked at me up and down, sighed heavily and told me "he's not here" and went back to her computer. I explained, again, that we were early and if his room was ready, could we just go see it and set up his things. I would have been fine if the answer was "no," but it was how she spoke to me that was the issue. After my 2nd explanation, she said "yeah, he'll be over there. there's some paperwork on the table in there you can fill out while you wait"... and again turned to the computer. So I go get my mom from the lobby, find the room with his name on it, and get situated. In his final days, my dad drank a lot of orange juice, so I went out to find anyone who worked there to see if they had orange juice available. The same nurse from before was at the computer, so I (politely) excused myself, apologized for the interruption, and asked my question. She sighed heavily and said they did have juice, but it was "for the patients," and if I could leave her alone she would be able to get things done so they could actually be ready for him (while waving her hands in the air in frustration/disgust). At Cleveland Clinic the hospice representative (who we LOVED btw) told us that my dads meds would stop while en route to hospice, but they would medicate him right before he left and he would immediately be hooked up to the exact same meds when he got to Stein. So when my dad arrived and no one started an IV, I asked the nurse (not my friend from earlier) what was going on. She said they "don't do" IVs at Stein and that my dad would be given morphine because they don't have fentanyl. At this point I'm mad because my dad went from IV fentanyl every 15 minutes to a morphine shot every 30 minutes. The nurse says she will try and get in touch with the doctor on call to see if anything could be done. While at Cleveland Clinic, my dads pain was well managed and he was able to rest. He spent his first 5 hours at hospice moaning and visibly agitated from the pain. The night nurse was the one who told us they do have stuff more powerful than morphine, and she immediately got the doctor to make changes to the med protocol. My father was finally able to rest, after hours of pain, and passed peacefully a couple hours later. I'd like to also mention that I left out a number of other incidents involving a nurse yelling, scolding, or talking down to me or a member of my family... but the most important take-away is that we were told my father would be kept comfortable and he would be given the same care at Stein that he was getting at Cleveland Clinic. That did not happen, and on top of that, we were treated like crap. Finally, I don't think the rep at Cleveland Clinic lied to us, I think she is unaware that Stein does not operate like the other Western Reserve locations she also represents.
