Sorry it's taken me a minute to update... I didn't realize I hadn't…read more Bachman made everything right and in a very timely manner. A man called me, drove out from another location and helped correct the flashing issue himself (with help). He took one look at the work and agreed that it wasn't looking right. There aren't many businesses out there that will be honest and correct their mistakes like that. Even the guy that worked on it the first time apologized and said he felt so bad that he messed it up even after we talked. Everyone was so cool about it. And my flashing is looking great. I have had them back to check out my gutters and the roof. I trust them and will be using them for any future issues (though I hope I don't have to for a long time.)

I had a small roof leak in my home in Mickleton New Jersey. I reached out to High Point Roofing and…read moreBachman's roofing to inspect and get an estimate for repairs, not a new roof. High Point roofing came out and advised that the roof leak was due to my chimney not having a storm collar; however, they did not install storm collars. They advised i should have a storm collar installed and if that did not work they provided an estimate for $950 to replaced a small section of roofing around the chimney/area that was leaking. Bachman's roofing came out to inspect after high point came out. When reaching out to Bachman's, i was very clear that i needed a company to install a storm collar on my chimney. After their inspection they advised that the leak was not due to the storm collar and that i needed a new section of roofing where the leak was present or a whole new roof. They quoted me $13k for the small section that High Point quoted $950 for. While at my residence they also advised that they do not do small jobs. Not sure why they were there as i fully explained over the phone that it was a small job. From my interaction with the sales rep (felt like a used car sales pitch) it was abundantly clear that they were trying to get me to spend as much money as possible and not fix my issue. Ultimately i had Krise services install the storm collar for $400 (recommended by high point roofing). Just had a big rainstorm last night and guess what, no water intrusion whatsoever. I would 100% suggest getting multiple opinions if considering using Bachman's roofing. Disclaimer: I have absolutely no affiliation with high point roofing or Krise services.

Last October, I got a quote from Mike Mann at Jack Mann Roofing, Inc. to repair a section of…read moreflashing on the roof that was causing a ceiling leak. He indicated he would remove the lower siding, correct the flashing, seal the area, and replace the siding for $400, and would fit the job into his schedule when he could. By mid-December, I had not heard anything from Mike, so I called to remind him. He apologized and assured me he would be out soon. On January 9, he completed the job. The invoice indicated he had "installed new aluminum flashing along rear wall at roof". The leak stopped, so we assumed everything was ok. In May, I went out on the roof to clear the gutter and found that the work he had done was very sloppy and wouldn't even meet the building code standard. Instead of removing the siding to properly install the flashing, he pushed the flashing up under the J channel, tarred the roof, screwed the flashing to the roof, then caulked the screws. Code dictates that there should be no punctures in the flashing to the roof because it could result in leakage. The flashing should have been attached to the wall - NOT the roof - then taped down to prevent leaking. In addition, the J channel is not attached to the wall as it should be, which buckles the siding. When I called to complain, he was immediately defensive, interrupting me repeatedly and insisting he stands by his work. There was no concern, no discussion of what might be done to satisfy the customer, and no civility. My recommendation - steer clear of this one.

I was unsure about color to choose and owner sent locations for me to see as well as dropping off samples. That was helpful. Once insurance approved, work was scheduled and completed as stated. There was a site manager there with team who provided good communication throughout work day. I was most impressed by the clean up. They make sure to walk with magnets around property and road to gather nails. They checked in with neighbors on both sides to alert them and made sure their areas were free from falling debris. I had NO flower, shrub, tree or yard damage after they finished - and I have a 3 story back yard.

I signed a contract in March for a roof replacement on my lower roof & repair on my upper roof. I paid in full, then had to beg for seven months to get them to come work. They only came after I filed a BBB complaint. They did half the work (my upper roof is still leaking) They were supposed to return last Friday but no showed the appointment. Throughout this whole ordeal the owner has lied to me, called me names, cursed me out, and made fun of me. Two weeks ago he tried to gaslight me by saying "your roof isn't leaking" as if I don't live here and see the water dripping into a bucket. He has tried every way he can to some how make this my fault and blame me which makes no sense, I paid upfront- I held up my part of the deal. Every other employee was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, but the owner is running this disaster of a company straight into the ground. Most of their reviews are from employees. Don't waste a single moment of your consciousness on considering this company for anything, you will never get it. I currently have a BBB complaint submitted to try and recoup some of the money I paid. (I had a relative who worked here which is why I chose them, he no longer works there. I only add this because I imagine the owner would try and claim I gave a bad review due to that but I think the timeline and actions of the owner accurately show that is not the case.)
