Truly a wonderful experience. Our pets stayed here for Master's week while we went to Disney. Bill…read more& Mary took amazing care of our two Bosties. They came home happy and healthy. Since the kennel is next to their house, someone is always available to take care of the pets. Plus, it's a pretty small place, which means each pet gets special attention. The prices are VERY reasonable as well. MUCH better experience then other kennels in the area (even the ones we like!). When we picked up the dogs, we forgot to grab their blanket, and Bill washed it and brought it to our house the next day! Now THAT is amazing service. We will definitely be back.

I have taken my small dog to Bill and Mary many a time. I absolutely love the setup they have -…read moreeach dog has their own space with access to their own toys/bed and then a doggie door if they want to go outside. They must let the dogs run around quite a bit, which is great - because every time I pick up my pup from them she is worn out! they also play relaxing music in the little pup cottage and the lighting is very relaxing (not sure if the dogs care or not) and Bill actually gave me a tip for dogs that maybe don't eat their food when they're in a new place - he recommends putting a little chicken broth in their dry food and that always works for my dog who tends to not eat her food when she's in a new environment. Highly recommend - great folks who really care for the animals that are brought to them.

I've been taking my dog here for over a year. Their business has left me feeling uneasy, but this…read morelast stay was the final straw. First of all, how many businesses in 2023 take cash only? HMMMMMMM....Because of that, the price seems to change with every stay and I never seem to get a straight answer on how much it will be, much less an itemized receipt. The prices for their services aren't published on their website either, so I guess that gives them more room for this "make it up as we go along/airline ticket/apartment hunting" pricing model - and I have more on that later. Plus I've watched Breaking Bad and Ozark, but I digress.... Second... On more than one occasion, someone who works here seemed a little inebriated or loopy when I called to inquire how much my dogs stay was. Plus, it's inconvenient to have to call EVERY single time I need to pick him up. A few times, the guy couldn't even get my dog's name straight. And I've never seen wherever my dog sleeps when he's here, but given what I have seen at this facility, I'm pretty sure it's nothing more than a crate. This last time, my fiancé dropped my dog off at 5:30pm. We picked him up at 2:30 pm THE NEXT DAY. The gentleman told us $80 for less than 24 hours of boarding WITH NO EXTRA SERVICES INCLUDED when we called to ask the cost - and this was after he kept mentioning daycare services. We asked the gentleman again about the cost and why it was so expensive for boarding - NOT daycare, his response was "Well we had to walk him". Are you effing kidding me? $80 for 21 hours of pet boarding? For one dog? The grounds are nice, but damn I'm paying human hotel prices for a dog at this point. Nah. I'm good. Time to find another pet facility or maybe I'll just find pet friendly hotels and take him with me. Good luck cleaning that cash.

You need keep eyes on your dogs' attitude fear or afraid of them then you should take them out of building to somewhere else. They did not shave butt. My two dogs came home and so happy to be safe with us. We have to find somewhere else. Pretty please do not send your dogs there!!!

Well after the hassle of finding a friend who can get him for me was situated they told the friend and I completely different information. They gave no proof as to why they thought he had worms and the manager couldn't find the original staff member who claimed it. well I finally get home and get him to the vet and get him tested only for all the tests for worms to come back negative. He showed no symptoms while under care for my friend and even the vet was blown away with these claims. They didn't even so much as provide picture evidence. they told my friend that they notified me that he would not be groomed before pick up but they never said that to me. Overall there is clearly a communication issue between the staff and the pet owners. The whole situation created an even larger burden for not just me but my friends as well. I will say however their pricing is fair and I appreciate that they provide a fan for each animal while crated.

I would like to take a few moments and express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Southern Camp…read moreCanine and Rebecca Starling. We got a beautiful tan and white Shih Tzu named Gizmo. He was wild when we got him from the previous owners. He refused to deal with me and my wife. He loved my two Grandsons (who live with us) and stayed in the room with them. We had to go out of town, and we boarded Gizmo with them. That's when I found out that Rebecca ran a training program. It was a 30-day session. While we missed him greatly, we kept in touch thru texts and pics. On September 20, Rebecca brought Gizmo home to us. I would have never believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. He had settled down. He came to us. She went over the different commands he understood, and we practiced. Soon she left to go home. He went outside with me on a leash. No pulling. No wildness. A completely different dog! Two weeks in and he comes when called. He jumps up on the chair with us. He keeps me company as I work daily. He loves belly and back scratches. This week, I decided to try going outside with him with no leash! FANTASTIC! Does his business then wants to play! This is the dog I wanted when we chose Gizmo. I cannot thank Southern Camp Canine and Rebecca Starling enough! Just a superb job of training. He is a joy to have in the family. David W. Hepner, Sr.
