It was cool. A bit overpriced, but overall a decent experience. And hey -- it's hot in Arizona, so why not stop in and cool off? Worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a quick escape from the heat.

After hearing so many great things about Bongiorno Bagels, I finally gave it a try, and it…read moredefinitely lived up to the hype. We ordered the New Yorker sandwich and the Fireman sandwich. The New Yorker was packed with tender, flavorful corned beef, and the marble rye paired perfectly with the melted provolone. The Fireman was just as impressive--the lox was fresh, the scallion cream cheese added the perfect amount of flavor, and the everything bagel had a great balance of crunch on the outside and chewiness on the inside. There was a long line and a bit of a wait but it was completely worth it. I can definitely see why this place is so popular, and I'll be back to try more of the menu.

I ordered the medic breakfast sandwich on a jalapeno check bagel that should come with Taylor's ham which is so so yummy.. I got home today to start eating my sandwich and there is no Taylor's ham on it at all... I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed given the bagel sandwich is $17 with my add ons... next time I go in I will be asking for atleast a discount because this is so unacceptable. Now I'm just stuck eat a bagel sandwich with no meat protein as d the Taylor ham is one of my favorite parts.. :( As always staff is very lovely and place is very busy but please double check ordered before just giving them out.. especially when you charge the prices you do.. :(

I got a blended chai, asiago bagel with cream cheese, and cinnamon roll. I like super sweet drinks and read that the chai can be spicy so I asked for it to be sweetened; I might try it without next time because it was plenty sweet and the best chai I've had in Phoenix. Also the best bagel I've had here - fresh, super cheesy, perfect balance between soft and cheesy. The cinnamon roll was because they didn't have cupcakes but it worked out. It was soft and smothered in incredible cream cheese frosting. I live within a block of 4 coffee shops downtown and will happily drive here from now on for my weekend treat. Plus, from their Instagram, I support their values and advocacy. A new favorite!

My favorite thing is the bodega bagel - your choice of bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and bacon. It's so nice being able to get a breakfast item without eggs (since I can't eat them) that is filling and delicious. I also love the m&m cookie and get one every time I go! The environment is so welcoming and inclusive, and all of the staff are friendly. The restrooms are not gendered and clean as well! We don't live close, but I love every excuse I have to visit.

The pictures on their website look equally as delicious so I was very excited to see how it was going to turn out! Now, my server was incredible! I cannot remember her name but she was extremely attentive and very very friendly!! I loved her! Now, let's get to the food. Trust me when I say, THIS IS THE BEST BENEDICT I HAVE HAD IN YEARS. It was cooked so well! From the Jalepeno bialy, to the delicious chorizo (and I don't even like chorizo), to the perfectly cooked poached eggs, and the delicious hollandaise sauce drizzled to perfection. I absolutely LOVE that they didn't skimp you on the sauce because it was fantastic. I cannot wait to go back and try other breakfast items and their lunch! Excellent visit! Thank you!!

The first order came out with salmon. When I pointed out the mistake, the waitress actually told me that "open face" means salmon. I've eaten bagels my whole life and have never heard anything so ridiculous. The second order came out and the bagel wasn't even toasted. The third order finally had tomatoes, but it was absolutely loaded with cream cheese after I specifically asked for very light cream cheese. Three attempts to make a simple bagel correctly while the restaurant was nearly empty is unacceptable. This place used to be good, but the service has clearly gone downhill. There were at least six waiters walking around, yet nobody checked on our table or even offered a coffee refill. Attention to detail and customer service seem to be a thing of the past here. Very disappointing.
