Such a good find! Amazing, huge bagels with the perfect chewy texture! The Garden Veg cream cheese was light and incredible! My hubby loved his breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel! Friendly service and the kind of place that feels small and hometown-ish, with regulars enjoying their traditional morning bagel and greeting everyone. Loved it! We will be back!

Anytime I see a place claim they serve NYC bagels, I'm dubious. But someone at the hotel we were staying at said it was good so I tried it and it was everything I needed it to be. Our egg, cheese, and meat bagel sandwiches were delicious! Even my picky younger kid loved her sandwich and gave two thumbs up!

First time here, bagels are made here! Ordered the nova lox on a sesame seed bagel. It was exceptional, large enough for two. Front end service was good. You order at the counter and pick up. Inside seating, all good. Put this one on your list!

Great bagels and such a variety. Hubs and I ordered bagel sandwhich that came with a drink and a bag of chips for $12.49. These were amazing, fresh, toasted and huge. They did not disappoint. We even bought some bagels for other days we are here. Go check them out. It was delicious

Homemade bagels, great hospitality, fair pricing. I'm from the east coast and these are definitely some decent bagels. Also I highly reccomend either calling to order or going in because their menu online isn't reflective of what's available. For example, they have lox cream cheese in store but you can't order it on the online system.

This place is number 1 locally if you search bagels in Scottsdale and I'd say this is a solid position for them. Every city I go to im on the hunt for the best bagel in town and this one was extremely solid. They cool the bacon a little too crisp for my liking but everyone's different and this is a personal preference thing. The bagels themselves are fresh and taste great! It's also just a really cool spot inside with the paintings of NY and the vibe itself. Service was quick and fast. Everything you want from a bagel spot! Cheers!

Bagels were amazing! Got a jalapeño and blueberry bagel with blueberry spread and it was to die for. My Son got the green chile bagel and it was so yummy will definitely be back soon

Tuna sandwich on multigrain bagel. Included lettuce, tomato, and avocado plus pickle slice and chips, and two jalapenos!

Best bagel place I have found so far in Scottsdale. The quality and selection of bagels is excellent. The tuna sandwich was great too -- they take the trouble to add not only chopped celery, but also chopped carrots and onions. Nice clean place to eat too.

Hands down--the best nova lox bagel I've ever tasted in my life. We're talking silky, briny salmon draped over a perfectly chewy bagel, layered with house-made cream cheese that's so rich and dreamy it should have its own zip code. And then--bam!--a hit of capers and pepperoncini for that tangy kick that wakes up your whole palate. Absolute perfection. Tell Hector--yes, that Hector, the main guy with the serious face and the secretly generous heart--that I said he's running a bagel temple. You might think he's all business (and he is), but the man clearly respects the art. Next time I'm in town, you know exactly where I'm going.

Best bagel spot that I have had in Scottsdale. The pastries are great too. Cinnamon roll is flakey.

I highly recommend trying both, especially if you've never had a Chicago beef. The juicy beef paired with giardiniera is super savory. Damn! I'm craving it again. For lunch on our second visit, we ordered the Chief Beef special and a margherita pizza. This was, by far, the BEST margherita pizza ever! I think I've said that in another review... but for reals this time! The pizza was perfectly crispy on the bottom with just the right amount of basil to top off each bite. For dinner on our third visit, we ordered the clam linguine and an Italian beef sandwich. My husband says this clam linguine was better than the other versions he's eaten at Little Italy. The Italian sandwich was good, but not as savory as the Chicago beef. Can't wait to eat here, again, the next time we visit the Padres during spring training.

Goldman's Deli Where Your Soul and Your Stomach Both Get Hugged…read more If comfort food had a headquarters, it might very well be Goldman's Deli. Walk through the door and suddenly you're not just hungry you're home. The smells alone could make a grown person misty-eyed. Now let's talk about the pastrami. Lean, tender, and stacked so generously you start wondering if the sandwich needs its own zip code. One bite and you understand why people keep coming back. Two bites and you're already planning your next visit. The soups? Forget therapy have a bowl. Rich, comforting, and restorative. The kind of soup that makes you feel like somewhere in the kitchen a grandmother is quietly nodding with approval. And then there's the gefilte fish. Not the ordinary, polite little slice. This one is special delicate, flavorful, and downright magnificent. Even people who say, "Eh... I'm not sure about gefilte fish," suddenly become believers. There's a little schmaltz, a lot of love, and the unmistakable magic of real Jewish deli cooking. Eat there, take some home, and tell your friends because food this good shouldn't be kept a secret. You might arrive hungry, but you'll leave smiling, a little fuller, and possibly needing a short nap which is the highest compliment a deli can receive. And as they say with a wink and a warm heart: "Zei gezunt, un es gezunterheit eat in good health!" Or in plain deli English: "May you always be healthy... and may your sandwich always be this good." So I trecked 5 miles out of my way to Goldman's (when Chompie's was just a mile away --frankly I don't know why I didn't think about chompies) I ordered the chopped chicken liver appetizer which comes with slices of tomato, a piece of lettuce, slice of red onion, and challah bread. I paid $15.01 for this platter (lol) without a tip for a small scoop of the liver. Just look at the photo. I was shocked to see how small it was. I thought that with a base price of $13.99 that the scoop would be bigger or at least the same size as in the past when it was $9.99. The challah bread was yellow but did not take like challah. Yellow bread slices do not delicious challah bread make--no yeasty flavor as any good challah would have. So here I am regretting that I didn't give chompie's a try. I can assure you that I will not be returning to Goldman's. I know ingredients have gone up but this price for such a small scoop is an affront to the wallet.

For $15, the sandwich I received had very little meat, as you can see in the photo. It was mostly bread, lettuce, and peppers, with only a couple thin slices of meat. An Italian sub should be generously filled, especially at this price point. I have had Italian subs at many different places, and Rinaldi's would rank at the bottom for me. The overall experience did not help matters. While I was there, the owner was sitting on his phone and did not greet or acknowledge customers coming in. My sandwich was made extremely fast, which made it feel rushed rather than prepared with care. When I got home, I realized they also forgot the mayo entirely, which added to the disappointment. That said, I did eat the sandwich. The meat itself seemed to be good quality, the bread was decent, and the photos from back east on the walls were welcoming and gave the place some character. The girls at the counter were also friendly which was a plus. Even with those positives, this visit did not come close to matching the reputation they advertise. Based on the quality, service, and value, I would not order an Italian sub here again.
