Lots of fun family stuff! Our family skated on the rink and the staff was friendly, music was good, and lighting was perfect!

Wow - this resort is gorgeous!…read more I spent the weekend on property at the Greater Zion Cup PPA Tour pickleball tournament and also spent some time in the resort lobby + restaurants. Service was mostly attentive and we were pleased with the transportation situation / golf cart rides to and from the courts and the main area. We did not stay on property but will certainly consider doing so in the future. It sounds like they are in the process of expanding and adding even more amenities in the future. Looking forward to returning!

On Saturday, we came back to the room in the early afternoon to grab some water and things and then head back out. As we were walking into our room, we noticed the housekeepers were there, and it was very odd to see a purse, a tablet, and a plastic bag with stuff in it outside of our room. Housekeepers are not supposed to have personal belongings on their shift. We didn't think anything of it at the time, they ended up leaving before we did. Hours later, we come back and realize that our luggage had been touched. My luggage was unzipped and on the ground before I left. I come back to see that my stuff was put in my luggage. It was zipped up and standing up on its wheels. Which was very odd as I have never experienced that. My mom also went to her luggage and noticed the same thing that both of her luggage's were zipped up, which we thought was very odd since housekeeping should not be touching our personal belongings. I go into the bathroom to the side cabinet and notice my jewelry box was zipped up. I told my mom and she went to go check her jewelry box that was in her luggage that was zipped up and sadly she opens it to realize that a vintage ring, that's 25 years old, and a necklace from her best friend who passed away, was missing. We immediately called the front desk as we wanted to file a report. We later went to the front desk and spoke to a gentleman who then had his security manager come and filed the report. We told them how we thought it was very odd that housekeeping should be bringing their personal belongings on their shift and we also told them how violated we felt with them touching our personal belongings. We were told that HR would be involved, and housekeeping management would be involved as well. The next steps were the housekeepers would be spoken to, security footage would be reviewed, and someone would be in contact with my mom. It has been over three weeks and no one has contacted my mom. Last week I reached out to a gentleman who is a founding partner of Black Desert resort and explained the situation and asked for help. I also asked that the least they can do is refund my mom for this trouble and the poor communication. I have asked three times now for them to refund my mom due to the lack of communication and urgency of this incident. Other hotels and resorts have refunded customers for way less and I shouldn't have to ask multiple times due to this unfortunate inconvenience. I'm hoping this will be handled soon. I will not be recommending this place to family or friends.

Aaron goes above and beyond to be accommodating with times and setup. He has even been known to let parties arrive up to a week early to set up, just to alleviate their stress on the day of their wedding. The venue is always very clean and professional. There are multiple comfortable spaces for families to get ready and relax before the event. The outdoor lawn for ceremonies is always pristine and very beautifully decorated. His custom arch for the ceremony backdrop is incredible. I've seen people in other reviews saying don't bring your children. Aaron is a super nice guy, but he takes care of his venue and expects parents to do their job by not letting their kids touch things they aren't supposed to or break things. If you're willing to watch your own kids, you'll have a great experience here.

The onsite owners are very attentive and adaptable to your needs from set up, decorating, and hosting throughout your event as needed. The location also features both bride and groom rooms, warming kitchen, patio, good sound system, air conditioning, and chairs and tables that provided a nice place to eat and enjoy the event. I highly recommend this location for any event! I know it was a special place for my family to enjoy my niece's wedding. Thank you all!

The location for Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club is simply stunning and breathtaking upon first…read moreglance. This place has extensive facilities for residents and guests alike, with a resort like feel. Two years ago we had booked The Inn at Entrada, which is simply marvelous (more about this in my separate review on the Inn's page "The Inn at Entrada"). Unfortunately the entire golf course was going through a complete re-design and apparently was complete April 2022. We noticed there was a golf promotion going for September, and figured it would be a perfect opportunity to come back and relax, and for my husband to finally try out the golf course. Turns out the pro shop had a promotion running while they were doing repairs on the golf course and no one could book during that time. I'm kind of perplexed on why the pro shop would run a promotion when they weren't allowing anyone to book. We ended up having to completely switch around our vacation and book over a month later to be able to book any golf tee times. Even still, tee times were sparse - turns out they only have 4 tee times per day for non-residents and it's only mid day. Tee times are only for residents and guests of the Inn. Golf is closed on Mondays and you can't play the first day of your reservations at the Inn. I was hoping the worst was behind us.. unfortunately it was not. Good thing I called closer to our visit date, because they had changed the tee times around on us. I had to make 3 calls and one send e-mail to the pro shop to finally get a confirmation of times as they had never sent me the e-mail confirmation in the first place. On the first day of golf, the tee time was moved back 10 minutes, no big deal. They started my husband out with his own golf cart (I might add their tee times include a cart that you pay for as part of the price), only to tell him to hop in with another gentleman at the start of the game (and move all his gear over). My husband and the other gentleman were paired with complete golf novices, who were not prepared to keep pace with the game. The group ended up lagging so far behind because of the couple they were paired with (the novices), that the ranger came out to give them all grief. Unfortunately the ranger did nothing to assess why the issue was occurring, but rather it just made for a hostile environment. Pace of play is really fast, this is not a course a novice should attempt. Unfortunately even if you are a good player, you may most definitely be paired with someone who is not due to the lack of tee time availability. On the second day of golf my husband asked to play alone or at least with a separate cart to avoid the same situation that he had experienced the day before. Apparently Snow Canyon doesn't allow such things in spite of having what seemed like endless carts on standby. Seems kind of absurd to pay for a cart and have to share with a complete stranger. The other problem lies with how the course sets up tee times for non-residents, they put you mid day. There are no exceptions to this either, and the staff spent their time rushing everyone around so they aren't in the way of the residents. While I understand the residents are top priority, there's nothing worse than feeling like a second class citizen when they charge the same as every other course in the area. Also, having the staff spend more time ensuring guests are enjoying their stay would be helpful also, but that is clearly not the priority here. The course itself was in playable condition, but still appears to be under construction in spite of claiming construction was complete in April 2022. There are many holes with incomplete areas, landscaping that is still under construction, and really rough spots throughout the course. The best part of the course believe it or not is the practice area, which is extensive. The actual 18 hole game play left a lot to be desired and not only felt rushed, but the whole experience felt poorly organized. I now understand why everyone we speak to says Black Desert Resort has a better course. I truly cannot recommend Snow Canyon with all its faults at this time. I can only hope the golf course continues to work on improving the experience for guests, while continuing to balance their needs for the residents.

Most of the neighbors are fantastic people. The surrounding neighborhoods are great and Black Desert is spectacular. BUT There is no voting that takes place the board of trustees vote and the owners must go along with what is voted on. There was an insane amount of money spent to redo the clubhouse, we didn't vote on that they did. There is a tiny gym you must pay monthly for whether you use it or not. The dues just went up, this was voted on by the board of trustees. We were told it included pickleball it does not you must pay extra. The gym should be an opt in. You must eat at the club house you have a certain amount of money you MUST spend or you pay anyways. The food is so bad you pay them not to eat there. You also must pay for their Christmas party. The board of trustees voted on this, it used to be an opt in but not anymore. One can only hope that Black Desert can take over and dismantle the Entrada board.
