I am an annual visitor for the past three years and each trip has been beyond incredible. I am due for a trip next week but after reading all these reviews (due to new management) I am awfully worried about the quality of the food I am about to receive. I have attached photos of meals I had in 2022 (forgot to take photos in 2023). I just called today to the restaurant to ask about their menu as previous stays had an ever changing assortment of dishes for breakfast/lunch/dinner each nice so every single day had something new and exciting for me to try. They no longer have that option as it is a set menu every day, which is very disappointing. They also no longer have bread served with dinner unless you pay extra. The food being sourced locally and creative dishes each morning and night really made this place stand out. I will update my review once I go back next week to see how all the changes affect my review. I am hoping management sees all these reviews and makes necessary changes to keep all these returning loyal customers as myself by maintaining previous services. I am going to severly be disappointed if they let the beautiful red mountain resort and their restaurant fall in quality as I know me and others will not be returning after these severe changes have been made. Please maintain and upkeep this gorgeous resort! I want to keep coming back forever.

5 stars. Great food during all times of the day. I stayed at the Red Mountain Resort and had the meal packages so the food at Canyon Breeze was included. I ate here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. One thing that confused me on the site was brunch is only on Sunday. And at 11am I believe. The brunch was really good, I was sad it was only on Sunday. Out of all the meals I had here, I enjoyed dinner the most. I pretty much had that daily special each day with their Red Mountain Salad and the moose cake. I tried to branch out and try different things but my favorites were by far: brunch, moose cake, their daily chicken special, and the halibut. My hubby ended up having the steak every single night. The service was good, they space things out nicely between courses, they ask just once if you want an alcoholic drink, I've been to some places where they keep asking, so glad that didn't happen. I think my least favorite was lunch. I had the bison burger and sweet potato fries. It was fine, just not what I was expecting, the fries weren't fries but more like wedges so it was a bit much. It was also nice to see people come here just for the restaurant, every meal there was a group who wasn't staying at the resort and came for the food. It looks like you can bring your dog but only for the outdoor patio, which is too cold for me and my pup. I was here while there was a bit of storm so never sat on the patio. Lastly, the butter that comes with the bread during dinner is AMAZING

Went for Mothers Day Brunch. Service was amazing. Atmosphere was perfect with the gorgeous red rock backdrop, patio fountain, peaceful location. Food was next level... the cheese table... wow! Shrimp the size of your hand, dessert table... beautiful. The mimosa flight was something to behold. It was a stunning brunch! We didn't have a reservation but got there early and they fit us in... I recommend reservations though because by the time we were done the place was full.

I was visiting Red mountain resort for a few days and took advantage of the package including meals. I was pleasantly surprised with Canyon Breeze. All staff were friendly , usually for breakfast and/or lunch I was helped by Reonna she was great. I didn't take advantage of all the meals but I can tell you my favorites were the steak & lobster Mac N cheese, burger, the salmon was tasty, didn't care for the wild rice , but the salmon made up for it. Salads were fresh and to say the bread and prickly pear garlic spread are delightful is an understatement. Overall I'd give 3.5 for the food and 4 for the friendly staff. I would definitely add this to my resort package again.

This restaurant is located inside the Red Mountain Resort where my team & I hosted an exotic car rally for one of night stays. My gf ordered the Beef Burger and I ordered the Salmon Plate. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing my entree was - so good! Servers were very attentive and extremely nice! My only gripe is something that wasn't their fault. Restaurant policy is to only take orders once the entire table was full - a little odd in my opinion. HOWEVER, I will say that they stayed open later for our party that trickled in late in groups, so I'm extremely appreciative for their hospitality!

Came here several times for dinner as we were staying at the Red Mountain resort. Nice ambiance and spacious. They accommodated a group of 12 of us with separate checks which was nice. The food was flavorful and well prepared. The portions were decent sized for most entrees. The brussel sprouts were quite nice. The tofu was good. The fish and chips was a large serving. The salmon was nicely cooked. The Caesar dressing was good quality and served on the side. The desserts were good as well. The service was very good too. They brought my sister a piece of cake for her birthday.

We got to the resort and we're famished so we made reservations for dinner, that's a must do. I had the pork pozole which could have had a little more heat but the flavors were spot on. My cousin had the lamb chops, she gave me a bite. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I've noticed many restaurants use too much salt, not here. We may eat here again tomorrow night.

Service is outstanding. Food is hit and miss. Based on my most recent experience, having eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner here for a week, I would order steak with extreme caution and take a hard pass on the fish. Breakfasts are normally decent; eggs are always good, and the sausage tastes great, but is very gristly. Bacon is.... well, c'mon! It's BACON. The beef burger was my least favorite lunch item - criminally over-cooked and under-seasoned, despite my order of a "medium" temperature patty. However, the turkey burger and salads are excellent. I actually continued to copy the Canyon Breeze salad at home. Very tasty! Dinners were the most disappointing. I rarely ordered something that I loved eating. My favorite dish was probably the pork loin and polenta. My favorite side dish was the Cowboy beans. My least favorite dish, by far, was the salmon. And I looooove salmon. Again, I ordered "medium" and I received salmon jerky with plenty of evidence that is was cooked at too high of heat for too long. I couldn't even eat it. Desserts are all fabulous, with the Pineapple Lemon Curd winning top spot for me. If my face and tongue could fit in that jar, I would have licked it clean! Service was always impeccable and any time the food was sub-par, they made it right. I would absolutely go back, but I do have one very important question: Why did you stop serving pretzel bread, Canyon Breeze? I was so looking forward to at least one basket during my week-long stay! If you're going to remove anything from the menu, consider the salmon instead.

From the moment we arrived, every dish was exceptional. The salad was fresh and beautifully prepared, the pork belly was absolutely outstanding, and the steak was cooked to perfection with the most incredible seasoning. Every bite was memorable. The biscuit was unreal--warm, comforting, and honestly one of the best I've ever had. What touched me most was the homemade ice cream. One spoonful instantly brought me back to childhood memories of my dad making homemade ice cream for us when we were kids. It was such a special and unexpected gift to relive those moments. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Parthee. She was absolutely amazing. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made us feel so welcomed and cared for. She didn't just provide excellent service--she made our night. Our family has been through a lot, including the heartbreaking loss of my sister. Father's Day hasn't always been easy for my sweet dad since then. This evening gave us something precious: a new happy memory together. We had a 730 res, showed up 10 mins early because parking was easy and told to wait eventhough we saw 6 open tables. Once seated they had a large very drunk unruly group of guys center room screaming and carrying on. Not a giant deal until I saw they same guys being rude to other patrons and literally grabbing our server. We couldn't hear the menu explanations due to the volume of that table. Drinks. The wine was fine for my wife. I am a whiskey and scotch guy Ordered a macallan 12 - didnt have it Ordered a EH taylor -didn't have it. Ordered a Bookers Bourbon- had it however the world's largest ice block (literally sticking out of the glass) which diluted the 1 Oz $30 pour. Bartenders inexperience truly showed here. The food. For the love of God, discover salt. We ordered 4 things. Elote Scallops Crab Mac Ny strip (medium rare) Best dish by far was the elote. The scallops still tasted like the sea and were extremely gritty. The steak...... medium and on the way to well. Not seasoned. The sauces were a horseradish and a chimichuri. Neither of which saved that steak. We literally sent the crab Mac back to the kitchen. Inedible. Tasted like tuna mac that had been left in the oven too long. Our server took care of all of our concerns and saved the evening, even gave us a few sea salt chocolatechip cookies (the cookies get salt but the $60 steak doesnt?) ......until the food poisoning kicked in. So thanks for the cheap wesightloss I guess? Gave it a try, and we would never recommend it to anyone we respect or call friend

45+ Minutes in 100° Heat, Passed Over Repeatedly, Then Offered a High-Top for a Toddler…read more Our experience at George's today was so bizarre, frustrating, and poorly handled that I am still trying to understand how a restaurant could treat a family this way. We arrived as a family of three--two adults and our toddler--and were told the wait would be approximately 15-20 minutes. We were added to the waitlist and waited outside in nearly 100-degree heat. While we waited, several parties arrived AFTER us. We know this with certainty because we watched them walk in, add their names to the list, come back outside, and even chatted with some of them while we all waited. Then, one by one, those parties were called inside and seated before us. After the last of them was seated, I finally went inside and asked the front-of-house employee in the pink shirt whether we were even still on the list. She assured me we were and said we were "next." We then waited approximately another 10 minutes. By the time someone finally came for us, our supposed 15-20 minute wait had become 45-46 minutes. And somehow, that wasn't even the most baffling part. We were walked through the restaurant, past multiple empty, standard-height tables, and taken down toward the bar. We passed yet another regular four-seat table there. And then we were offered a high-top table. For two adults and a TODDLER. Our toddler had physically walked into the restaurant with us when we originally put our names on the list. There was never any ambiguity that we had a small child with us. No booster or appropriate toddler seating was offered at this high-top, either. We obviously declined. Expecting a toddler to safely sit at a high-top is not merely impractical--it creates a completely unnecessary fall and safety risk. We were then informed that if we wanted a normal table, we would need to wait another 10-15 minutes. At that point, I was genuinely stunned. We had already waited more than twice the time we were quoted. We had watched parties who arrived after us get seated ahead of us. None of those parties, to our knowledge, were forced to choose between an inappropriate high-top and an additional wait. And we could literally see empty standard tables. When we specifically asked about the empty four-person table near the bar, we were told we couldn't sit there because that server was having a very busy day and it would be another 15-20 minutes before she could take us. So let me understand this: your restaurant allowed a family with a toddler to wait outside in extreme heat for more than 45 minutes, repeatedly seated later-arriving parties ahead of them, finally brought them inside only to offer seating obviously unsuitable for a small child, and then--while empty standard tables were plainly visible--essentially told them to go wait some more? At what point does someone on staff recognize that something has gone badly wrong and attempt to fix it? There was no meaningful apology. No sense of urgency. No empathy. No attempt to problem-solve. No acknowledgment that the original 15-20 minute estimate had turned into 45+ minutes while other guests were seated ahead of us. What makes this experience even more uncomfortable is that we are a mixed-race couple. I cannot say why we were treated differently, and I am not going to make an accusation I cannot prove. But after watching multiple parties who arrived after us be seated before us, only to then be offered uniquely inappropriate seating for our family, I am left questioning why our family was treated differently. Was there some legitimate explanation that was never communicated to us? Was this simply extraordinary incompetence and poor management of the waitlist? Or was there another reason? I genuinely don't know. But the fact that your staff's handling of the situation left us even having to ask that question should concern management. We were patient. We were polite. We waited far longer than we were told we would. We stood outside with our toddler in nearly 100-degree weather and gave your staff every opportunity to make the situation right. Instead, we were met with indifference and a level of front-of-house incompetence that was astonishing. Restaurants get busy. Servers get overwhelmed. Wait estimates can be wrong. None of that explains why multiple parties arriving after us were seated first, why no one noticed or corrected it, why a family visibly accompanied by a toddler was offered a high-top, or why--after more than 45 minutes--no one seemed remotely interested in finding a reasonable solution. We ultimately didn't need special treatment. We expected competent treatment. We didn't receive it. Management should seriously review how the waitlist was handled today and speak with the front-of-house staff involved, because this was one of the most poorly managed and deeply uncomfortable restaurant experiences our family has had.

Next time I want to try their cheesy grits and lemon blueberry cornbread. Hubby liked his steak and potato hash with peppers and eggs. Food was fresh and lighter than at other breakfast places. Wow - this resort is gorgeous!…read more I spent the weekend on property at the Greater Zion Cup PPA Tour pickleball tournament and also spent some time in the resort lobby + restaurants. Service was mostly attentive and we were pleased with the transportation situation / golf cart rides to and from the courts and the main area. We did not stay on property but will certainly consider doing so in the future. It sounds like they are in the process of expanding and adding even more amenities in the future. Looking forward to returning!

Stop searching and book right now. This resort is top notch. Immaculate. Pristine. Gorgeous…read more Luxurious. All you want in a resort. And I didn't even touch the food. Amazing all around. The staff was so attentive and courteous. From the moment I walked in, Rayder was so accommodating and pleasant. We had a wonderful conversation. Then, Sadie, the host at Latitude, made an effort to remember every guest's name. She was the highlight of our morning. Maxwell at Basalt was the most charming waiter who knew everything about the menu. He was so personable and topped off our night with recommendations and a touch of class. Don't get me started on the soft beds and pillows. AMAZING. They are so comfortable. I am mad I didn't take a peek at the manufacturer. Unforgettable. I loved the gym with a plethora of equipment offerings. It was a bit chilly the week we came, so we opted not to golf. We will be back. I highly recommend it here. So glad it's an option.
