Cute little Inn on the outskirts of town. Can't beat their price point either. I liked how each room was slightly different in decor. The room I had, had a four poster bed. That was quite nice. If you are looking for simple accommodations, for a steal of a price, this would be your place. It does not have a full kitchen, very simple in that sense. You get a mini-fridge, a microwave in your room. So, for someone who plans to eat out, this would be perfect. They have bikes for rent, per day $10. The room itself was clean, and nicely put together. The bed, though pretty, was not that comfortable. The pillows were very small as well. The grounds were kept nice. The could spruce up their pool area a bit. Make it more welcoming. I ended up having to leave a day early due to flooding in that area. The water was almost coming into my room, it was a bit scary! I would have assumed due to the almost flooding in the room they would have offered at least half of one day back in fees, but they did not. read more

Okay ... I HATE to do this but ... Worst night's sleep I've had at a hotel. The room was MUCH nicer than I expected and service was great. BUT ... There was a guy snoring in the room next door and I could literally hear him as if he were in my room next to my bed. I couldn't sleep ALL NIGHT due to this. Literally it was terrible. The room had an ajoining door which was so thin, you could hear a pin drop in the room next door. I had the television at the lowest possible volume tick but felt guilty and turned it off because I could hear so clearly what was going on in the room next door. I even bumped up the fan on the ac unit hoping to drown it out. For this reason I could never stay here again nor recommend this hotel. Ever. Which is a complete shame because it's two streets over from 5th Avenue in Naples which is so hard to find. And there is absolutely pride in ownership here. The rooms are spotless, the grass is green and landscaping nice. Free WiFi. Free parking. It's all so much better than I thought it would be when I saw pictures. Sure it's a 1960s style hotel but the location can't be beat in Naples. The clientele was definitely of the older variety. But as I said the adjoining doors were so thin that you could hear everything in the room next door. Such a shame because beyond that it's great. But it's a BIG issue!!! BTW ... Skip the gross breakfast and go out to 5th Ave and spend $8 each for a real breakfast. It's plastic wrapped bagels and muffins at the hotel. read more

This place seriously rocks! It's in the perfect location in Naples within walking distance to everything! 5th ave is a 5 minute walk. I love the restaurants there. And the 7-11 is right down the street for emergency items, like wine. The place itself is quaint. Very unique. It's just a little beachy motel. All the rooms are different from what I gather, but tastefully decorated with Florida decor. There is plenty of guest parking. The rooms are large. The bathrooms are also big. They have toiletries in the form of conditioning shampoo and body wash so bring conditioner if you need. The pool is perfect and located in a the center of the motel. Staff is super nice and check in and out is super easy. Just leave your keys in a drop box at the front if you need. Apparently you can rent bikes. I didn't but it looked fun! They have a breakfast which starts at 7:30am by the pool which I also couldn't do due to my work schedule but I wanted to! It's quiet. I thought for sure I would hear my neighbors. Not a sound! They have decent cable TV. And lots of electrical outlets to charge your many appliances. I seriously cannot wait to come back to the lemon tree inn! read more

As others have said, this little inn is a gem. One of the only older Naples style hotels left. The price is great in comparison to many expensive hotels in the area. Although it is older, the grounds and rooms are very clean and kept up. The room was spacious and had all we needed for a weekend. Pool and beach towels available, bikes to rent, small microwave, toaster and coffee maker. No utensils or plates, bring your own. Nice size TV, comfy bed and best part is walking distance to 5th avenue shops and restaurants! We enjoyed the walk and atmosphere. Love Lemon Tree Inn! read more

The Inn is very old, built in 1949. However, it has lots of cute. It has been updated and is nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not so great, but enjoyed the pool and ambiance. read more

Adorable little place! The rooms are more old school Florida but very clean. We had a queen 4 poster bed and our own lanai. Mini fridge, microwave and good cable t.v. The breakfast is small but enough to tide you over. The courtyard is beautiful with a little gazebo in the middle and the pool was clean and well maintained. The only reason I gave it 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because our bed was rock hard! We both woke up several times in the night due to that but we would definitely stay here again despite that. read more

Quaint, vintage inn with a 1960's flair of real Florida. If you are looking for high-end perfection, this isn't it. My room could have been cleaned more thoroughly, (chair rail and bed posts very dusty) bathroom sink drained slowly (which happens) It is in need of some paint in areas, small upgrades in others, but that would not discourage me from recommending LTI, and staying here again myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the clean, heated pool. My screened in patio was enjoyed watching Florida's hour afternoon rain. The downtown location was surprisingly quiet, with birds chirping and singing in the palms. The courtyard was lush and tropical. Michelle at check in was super-friendly, informative and helpful. The price was reasonable. I was in the area for shelling tours and this was my home base. I didn't explore much in the area, but did visit the Naples Pier and beach. People were friendly and the beach relatively clean, but not a good shelling spot. read more

The best thing about this Inn is the location. It's in close proximity to the restaurants and shops on 5th ave south and the beach, which is easily accessible by car or bike, which is available for $10 a day rental at the inn. Upon arrival, you can tell that the inn is very well kept. For the price, it is a good deal in comparison to hotels/inns in the area. I wish I could give them a better rating, but the pain in my neck from a bad night's sleep is not forgiving. Our bed only had two very thin pillows, which left me sleeping uncomfortably for the duration. If you factor in the mattress and noise from neighboring rooms, I was just not able to find my stay enjoyable. Although, I am very glad that our room (#109) was on the opposite end of the parking lot, which would have just made sleeping much more difficult. So, if you are going to book a room make sure to ask for one on the North side. Pros - Great location for the price - Friendly staff - Very clean throughout Cons - Thin walls in the room, making it easy to hear conversations and bathroom uses (toilet flushing & shower running) - Horrible spring mattress - The Queen bed only had two pillows that were very thin - No central AC - There is only one light in the bathroom and the shower curtain is very thick. So, the lighting in the shower/bathtub is very dim. Room Tip: Room 109 (aka Ginger) is one of the few with a covered outside terrace. read more

Photos are very deceiving. This motel is very dated on the verge of run down. Room was garage sale furnished. Floors in kitchen area are cracked and stained. No warm touches in the room ... scratchy linens on bed... towels are threadbare. Outside areas could use a good scrub. I should have known this place was going to be awful when many patrons rave about the fact they are basically located on the parking lot behind CVS!!! Staff is friendly . Spend the money and stay someplace else. Inn has lots of potential .... Great location....close to 5th avenue restaurants and shops. read more

We have been staying at this cute,quaint little inn for a few weekends a year for the last 10 years, and always had a great experience. The rooms are clean, And beds comfy, the pool is spotless and everything is walking distance. The front desk Staff specially Michelle and the housekeepers are so sweet and helpful. If it were up to me (if I had more time off work ) I would come in once a month to relax and eat at the wonderful restaurants nearby. Do yourself a favor and take a couple of days to experience the old Naples lifestyle !!!!! read more

We loved this hotel! We look for 3 things, clean, location and bar onsite or nearby (we ARE on vacation after all). I booked online and relied on photos, we all know they can be from 10 years ago, so didnt know what to expect. This place was perfect. First, its CLEAN. The grounds, the rooms and the pool area. Next, everything you want to do in Naples is 5 minutes away by car. $6.50 by Uber. There is a CVS literally next door, which is perfect as we forgot a few things. But there are trees separating the property so it's not like you're staring at this big ugly building. There was no bar on site but again, 5 minutes away. The room had a small coffee maker, toaster, microwave and small fridge. There are cutr chairs for sitting outside the room, a picnic table and gazebo. Free little breakfast by the pool in the morning. The staff are super friendly always asking if we needed additional towels or the like. Ladies, just a heads up, the shampoo and body wash are provided but no conditioner, which is a must for me so just pack it or grab it at CVS. We loved this hotel and cant wait to come back! read more

I love this place! It's so cozy and it's one of my earliest memories from when I moved to Naples. The rooms are sweet and many come with little screened in porches. I just wish breakfast consisted of more than concentrated juice and store bought muffins, but it's still worth it. I hope it survives the Naples tendency to tear down and put "foo foo" businesses in place of little slices of old Florida. read more

At first I cringed when I heard I would be staying at a 60's-style MOTEL, but there were no other reasonably priced hotel rooms to be found for my last minute trip to Naples. Now, I don't think I'd stay anywhere else. Positives: Price, cleanliness, funky-cool vibe, fairly modern rooms, reasonably comfy bed, close walking distance to 5th Avenue, $10/day bike rental, free parking, gave me 90 extra minutes for a late checkout, and, a beer, wine, and snacks store right next door (aka CVS Pharmacy!). Negatives: Sketchy wireless internet, tiny bathroom, "tired" room furniture, sad continental breakfast. But hey, I might be nit-picky. Afterall, I did give it an overall 4 stars! Quick tip - if you're going to take a vehicle to the beach, (and there are many beach access points) you will need a ton of quarters (it costs $1.50/hour). There are some parking meters that will take a credit card, but they are few and far between. read more

We have been staying at the Lemon Tree for at least five or six years and every stay has been a pleasant experience! It is perfectly situated right by Old Naples, Tin City, the pier and it's a short walk to a Starbucks for my morning coffee. The hotel does offer breakfast every morning, by the way, although it's nothing amazing. Not only was the price excellent for the area, the location is unbeatable, the staff, especially Michelle and Lupita, were outstanding, and all the guests had a wonderful experience. Each room came with a comfortable outdoor sitting area fronting on a central garden area, and the room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, premium TV, a small refrigerator and a microwave, in addition to other amenities. "A Great Value in a Great Location, but what about the Bedspreads?" 4 of 5 stars I love this place and this is my second stay. The only place I can afford during busy season and cutting costs does not mean loosing quality. Rooms are clean, come with a fridge and Microwave, they are smoke free, and the beds are really comfortable. My Girlfriend and I enjoy sitting in the screen in Patios. The management has pumped money into this place to keep it updated and it shows. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. My suggestion to people that stay here, however, is to fold up the bedspread and put it away. I do not understand why this property will not invest in nice bedspreads. It is the only thing I can complain about. The bed Spreads are straight out of the 70s. Otherwise this place is perfect. Walk to restaurants and bars on 5th ave. We rented bikes from the hotel on this trip and I highly recommend it. With bikes, we were able to explore 3rd street which would be a bit of a walk otherwise. Heard from local that the management of Lemon Tree just took over a property Park Central across the street and they said that was nice too. Might be worth checking out. read more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and I cannot say enough good things about it! It is centrally located so close to everything in Naples that practically everything is in walking distance. They have bikes that you can rent for the day ($10/bike for all day) that we loved because the beach was about a 35 minute walk. We hopped on the bikes and spent the day riding from the pier to the 5th Ave shops and to dinner. The check in/out experience was phenomenal and very easy. The ice cold lemonade in the lobby area is a nice, welcoming touch! There was an older lady there during both and she was super nice and knowledgeable of the area, sharing her recommendations with us on restaurants to visit. The rooms were very clean and cute, and we adored the fact that we had a screened in porch with chairs (attached to our room) to relax on without the hassle of bugs or the hot sun. The pool was small but did its job. The breakfast that is included is small; muffins, bagels, oatmeal and juices but the breakfast lady was also very nice. The only thing that we had an issue with was on our last night there, we could hear the people next to us snoring through the wall and could hear people talking loudly through the other wall. The bed was very comfortable, so I got plenty of sleep but it was still a bit of a pain. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel whether it be for families or couples alike! read more

This hotel has so much potential. The severe dampness in the room was impossible and it was inexcusable - my family has been living or wintering in Naples for nearly 40 years and I never felt dampness anywhere in town like this. The ancient wall unit AC/heat does nothing to remove humidity from the room. All our clothes in our suitcase are stinky and damp just from the air in the room, not from washing. We'd bring in laundry from the dryer all nice and fully dry and by morning the air made them damp. Towels that got used never dried so they always had to be put out to be washed. The room also smelled musty so our clothes do too and I'm going to have to wash all of it when we arrive home. It's SO disappointing because other aspects of the hotel are great: the location, the lovely courtyard garden, that the room opened directly to the outdoors like a cottage. There are longtime regulars among the guests, a few families with kids, older people, it was a nice community of people. The staff were lovely. But we never once looked forward to returning to our room to relax after being out. Instead it was a downer. The place is like a bare bones lake cabin from my 70's childhood: Beautiful outdoor setting but depressing when you have to be indoors. read more

This small hotel is convenient to downtown Naples, well appointed and very clean, landscaping is impressive. The downside is a very bland breakfast of average coffee and packaged sugary muffins. The other problem is that half the rooms back up to an alley, cars are parked against your hotel room wall and when folks come and go you know about it, the doors on the rooms are such that if your neighbor closes the door hard or slams your unit vibrates and you will wake up. Oh yea, seven o'clock in the morning or so the garbage truck comes by the alley and you know the rest: you wake up. Get a room not backing to the alley and with respectful neighbors the door slamming will not be a problem. So a mixed review and if I stayed here again my room will not back to the alley. read more

We were pleasantly surprised by this little inn. Desk and maid service are very friendly. The room was beautiful and rivals hotel chains I've stayed at. Close to everything and the CVS was right out our backdoor. We are making this our place to stay when we return. read more
