I stayed in ths hotel when I had my Naples half marathon this year. Did not expect highly for it because it is called "inn", but the stay turned out to be amazing! The hotel was literally next to a small cove, where numerous yatchts dock, and was only 0.6mi from the famous Fifith Ave. My room was on the first floor but was quiet. It featured a spacious mini bar/kitchen, huge floor-to-ceiling windows and a beautiful balcony. Restroom was small but enough for one person. The air conditioner was indeed noisy, so I only turned it on when I was not in the room. The hotel has a small cafe serving breakfast and brunch and you can order take away. However, they only accept cash or check to your room charge. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! Will consider booking it again when I run Naples half marathon next year! read more

We absolutely love the Cove Inn in Naples, Florida! Our room was beautiful with an amazing view of the bay of Naples. The swimming pool is right on the water and the location is perfect, within walking distance to a number of restaurants. The even better part of our stay was the terrific staff! Lulu checked us in and she and Austin at the front desk were delightful and so fun to see every day. It felt like being with family and friends. The housekeepers were very nice and did a terrific job freshening up our room daily. To add, the Cove Inn Coffee Shop is onsite and is the best breakfast place we have ever experienced! Our friends took us here and we were very impressed with the location. Waitress was great. Our food came and looked delicious and tasted okay. When we got home we felt terrible. Kissed the toilet for the next 3-4 hours. They must cook their food in something that did not agree with us. Won't be going back here anytime soon. read more

Fantastic hotel and location for a very reasonable price, especially given the area! The room is brand new and looked like it could have literally been redone the day before my stay. It's also basically the size of a one bedroom apartment and had a kitchenette, small living room space, large bathroom and hallway with closets. My guess is this hotel is probably a nice extended stay option for folks who park their boats off the attached yacht club. Everything is super sleek and modern and all rooms also have a small patio, many of which overlook the bay. And speaking of the bay, the hotel is smack dab on the water and shares a pool and tiki bar with the adjacent yacht club. There is plenty of seating if you want to lounge at the pool and the views of the harbor are fab. There are restaurants all around. Lots of nice options on the waterfront surrounding the hotel, but also plenty of spots downtown which is a 5-10 minute walk in the other direction. For an affordable stay in Naples in a great location you really can't go wrong. read more

Pros: if you like to walk, it is walkable to everything, beautiful view, beautiful beach, bikes available, nice beach chairs/ umbrellas available to use, friendly staff, coffee shop on premises. Cons: Very small bathroom. A rusty bike chain broke which caused a bike to break down a mile away & had to walk it back. Dirty tissue in bathroom when we arrived. Noisy in the evening, you are right above a busy restaurant or could be right above the pool\bar. All in all we would stay here again, and book a larger room. My boyfriend and I traveled to Naples from Miami to attend a few sports clinics that ended up being canceled last-minute due to Tropical Storm Elsa. So, we ended up spending almost all of our time inside our hotel room. Our room was on the first floor right behind the ice/vending machines and with a great view of the dock. The room was clean, cozy and had a TON of extra drawers and storage areas. I was impressed with how stocked it was -- we had plates, silverware, cups, coffee pods, etc. -- a lot more than what is usually supplied at other hotels. On the second floor, we discovered a a quiet nook area with a mini library and chessboard. As many have already mentioned, don't miss breakfast at the restaurant in lobby. Our second day we sat at the counter and enjoyed watching the kitchen in action and conversating with regulars. On the last day we ordered to-go to eat in our room and everything came well-packed. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is because I had to work remotely and the WiFi connection was pretty slow. But other than that, I would definitely stay at this hotel again if we were to return. read more

Bad from the get-go. I checked in, with people in line behind me, and the owner? behind the desk gave me my key and announced my room number so that everyone could hear it - a good way to alert thieves. The lobby said it was celebrating its 42 year, and I believe it hasn't changed a thing since then. Our room, uncarpeted, was very small. The bed was literally too high to sit on, had to jump to get on it and the mattress was made of concrete. There was a broken pole lamp sitting in the corner, an old chair and older ottoman, and a TV with something hanging down from it, cords and connections. The bathroom was literally a sliver, the size of a small closet. There was a wall unit air conditioner which sounded like a downpour hitting the room off and on, all night long. The sliding door to the little balcony did not lock. Two lamps on a tiny dresser weren't plugged in, and when they were, they didn't turn on until we called for maintenance help. My husband complained and we got a 10% discount, but the 2 night stay was still nearly $500, no breakfast. The view of the marina was very pretty, and that's the only good thing I have to say. read more

Been coming here for years but i'm done with this place. Paid in full for my room in advance and was told the next morning I owe $22 for a "resort charge" when the receptionist the night before told us we had already paid in full! I spoke with the manager older lady on duty who was super snappy and told me I have to pay whether I like it or not. Horrible attitude learn some manners and respect your customers better especially ones who have been coming for years. Anyway, it's been a year since the hurricane and they are still "working" on the lobby? So the resort charge is just a way to get customers to foot the bill? Anyway, they have some of the most uncomfortable beds i've ever slept on so we wont be missing anything at all. I don't even think they use mattresses just 5 inch thick foam slabs read more

We stayed here for my boyfriend's birthday, and hotel was not as expected. - First of all the staff did not have a mask, we noticed that almost no one in the hotel wore a mask, starting with the front desk. The front desk Guy without mask. - The bathtub did not work properly, all the water remained floating, did not drain. - The bathroom does not have a sink, you must use the dishwasher for your personal hygiene. - The room does not include dishes - Totally poor customer service. - We asked the front desk staff to help us get some dishes and they had no intention of helping us. The only kind person was the maid who very kindly helped us with this request. The only friendly person in the hotel. - They do not include breakfast. And if they do, it is better decision to eat out or bring your own breakfast. Breakfast quality less than zero. - There are no napkins or paper towels in the room - They only have one cart to transport the luggage and when we left it was busy. We had to carry everything ourselves - The only good thing about this hotel is its location. It is close to the beach and downtown. Includes parking and the view from the balcony of the room is nice. Although the chairs are worn and old. Conclusion: I recommend staying at another hotel. Do not stay here. There are many options that you can choose from. read more

Cute place with lots of lovely updates over the years. I enjoyed my room, it was decorated nicely. The only thing that bothered me was that the bar was overflowing with people so I didn't get the opportunity to try anything, and the pool had loads of people coming and going from the parking lot. I don't think anyone there was actually staying at the Inn. I didn't realize, when I booked my stay, that the bar and pool was open to the public. There wasn't a lock or anything on the pool or bathroom, and the locals seemed to be well aware of that. People just had coolers of beer and their own towels and beach chairs everywhere. I can't say that I'll stay with them again, unfortunately. It's too bad, because my room was pretty nice. read more

The cove Inn hands down is one of the coolest places I have stayed in Naples. What I liked the most about this hotel was the view that we had from the room and the location. Located only three minutes away from the pier it is very convenient for me and the family when we want to get away from the craziness in the Miami beaches. The room was clean and well kept and don't have any complains about the appearance of the room. The bar that is shared with the members of the yacht club is really nice and seemed cool but didn't get to pass by. The pool was a bit dirty and the pool bathroom was out of service. Aside from that I would say be careful with the bogus $15 fee that they tack on when you check in. They stated that it was for parking. But when I mentioned to them that one of the people in our party was handicapped and mandated by state law to not pay for the parking they said they could not remove it. read more

Great staff! The lobby and room is really nice, but the double bed is too small and uncomfortable. Everything is starting to be updated so maybe the beds will be done as well. A wonderful place to stay with an awesome location right on the marina! They have a very nice pool and a huge outdoor tiki bar called Chickee time. The drink prices are very reasonable! A beer will usually run about $3 and the margaritas are $6. That's great considering it's a pool bar and you are in Naples. The bartenders were also very friendly and fun to chat with. The rooms are very clean and a good size. My favorite part about staying here was not only the location but the fact that they had a breakfast spot inside the hotel. We enjoyed a meal at the Cove Inn coffee shop which has very fast service and good food. The room prices are reasonable considering it's right on the water. I would definitely recommend the Cove Inn to any of my friends or family heading to Naples. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. The Dock was very good and the Boat House had a great happy hour. We loved taking the water shuttle as well. Only $7 per person and it will take you to different stops through out the marina. Sadly, I have to agree with the mixed reviews. On the plus side, the location is great and the people are lovely. On the negative side, it was filthy. The sheets and towels were clean, but when I wiped up a bit of water I had spilled on the floor, the towel came out completely black. There were cans of paint under the sink and strange patches of adhesive(?) on the tiles in the bathroom. Also, the tub didn't drain properly. The biggest negative, however, were the 1970's AC units. They cycled off and on, spewing foul smelling drops of water. They did cool the room but were so loud that it was difficult to sleep and having a conversation on the balcony was almost impossible. This could easily be a 5-star hotel if they put the money into properly updating the property. I hope they do, but it definitely needs more than a few cans of paint. read more

This is a review for Cove Inn room #333: This two bedroom two bath premium penthouse rental unit is beautifully decorated with fabulous day and night views of Naples City Dock from the dining/family room and from the south facing balcony. Bay views are terrific from each of the two bedrooms and each bedroom has its own north facing balcony. This unit is spacious, newly remodeled and comfortable. We enjoyed the Cove Inn Coffee Shop, The Dock and The Boathouse restaurants next door and our daily walks to the many stores and nearby restaurants on 5th Ave and 3rd Street which are both easy enjoyable walks from the Cove Inn. The Naples Pier is also an easy walk. We rate this as a 10 out of 10 based on a wonderful overall experience. read more

I've been coming to the Cove Inn since the late 80's and will not stay anywhere else when i come to Naples. it's definitely a hidden gem. Peaceful, quiet, walking distance to restaurants, shopping. Close to the beach and not a tourist trap. The Coffee Shop hasn't changed at all. Best pancakes. Rooms are clean and have awesome views of the bay. It's affordable and accommodating. Sitting on the balcony on a warm summer night with a glass of wine and watching the lightning is a perfect relaxing evening at the Cove Inn. I like the Cove Inn Coffee Shoppe in Naples. I think it is one of the best breakfast spots in the Naples area. It is usually the case that you will have to wait for a table. This is due to the small size of the Shoppe and its popularity with locals and visitors. They make nice thin "Swedish Style" pancakes and crispy bacon. Their corned beef hash is excellent too. The wait staff are hard working and customer focused. It always seems to be the same crew. It is fun to sit at the counter and watch the line cooks crank out the orders. My only beef with the Cove Inn is that they don't take plastic and there is no ATM at the Inn... I get it that they want to avoid the credit card fees. But it seems like they could provide an ATM on the property as a service to visitors and locals who didn't get the memo. read more

Very cool place, to say the least. The pros: Great view, great location and different kind of feel. As some have said on Yelp, it's a bit quirky, but the rooms are certainly clean and it has a nice relaxed feel to the entire property. There are lots of places to sit, relax and the rooms themselves are very relaxed as a whole. Parking is good, for the price you get what you pay for and get much more. We really enjoyed our stay as the location is very peaceful on the bay, however, upon packing our bags and checking under the bed, we discovered that another guest's underwear had been left behind! Great little hidden gem on Naples Bay. I booked a room there on a motorcycle ride throughout Florida. This place is a wonderful hidden gem. The prices are great and they have a choice of renting a room, efficiency, two bedroom penthouse or two bedroom apartment. The rooms are large and spotless and they have flat screen TVs, refrigerators, microwaves and Keurig coffee machines. My room had a small bathroom with a large sink and mirror outside the bathroom. The king size bed was comfortable and the room had nice decor. There is a great coffee shop in the hotel that is open from 7am to 1pm and serves a fantastic breakfast. It seems locals come there for breakfast too as I saw a few who appeared to be regulars including a Naples police officer. Food is good when regulars and cops eat there! There are three restaurants within walking distance, a steakhouse, seafood restaurant and an Italian pizza/sandwich shoppe as well as a beautiful Tiki Bar with very friendly and attractive bartenders, I believe the who think is part of a marina that only members and hotel guests can enjoy. I ate at the steakhouse and will review it separately. (it was good!) There is a water taxi that runs all night right there next to the hotel and it goes to all the major hotels on the bay, I think you pay one price and ride all night. The hotel had a nice pool too but I didn't use it as i was only there for a night. I liked the hotel so much I booked 15 rooms for my clubs anniversary ride in September. read more

The bathroom was functional, except one important necessity missing- a shower caddy for your toiletries. Simple and inexpensive fix for management.
