From finding the greatest venue, DJ, florist, caters and so much more, I never had to worry about anything. And I loved that! She took all the amount of stress away even on the night before my wedding! Swear she was my "Fairy Godmother", she made my childhood dream wedding come true! So if you're in San Antonio or near by the area and plan on getting married, or any party really, Stephanie is your go to girl!!! She gets things done and if you're a bride on a budget (like I was!) she's the best discount queen ever! She knows the best places that have excellent prices! And she also never made me feel like a bridezilla for being very particular, which is a huge plus. As someone who has a background in event planning I was disillusioned into thinking I would be able to handle the task of planning and coordinating my own wedding. BOY WAS I WRONG. Mitzi asks the critical questions you will not find on The Knot or Pinterest. Specific timeline details that you may not think of until much later in the planning process. Although we had a rain plan in place for the day of the wedding, I was not willing to give up on having my dream outdoor ceremony. Despite there being high odds of rain for our wedding day, I wanted to take a chance and try to make the outdoor ceremony happen. Thanks to Mitzi's expert planning, we were able to setup for the ceremony inside and outside and make the call only 30 minutes before the wedding. It rained so hard that the power went out in the bridal suite and Mitzi was still able to pull off nothing short of a miracle. In addition to coordinating with every single one of our vendors to ensure a seamless evening, Mitzi also went to bat for us whenever she could. Whether it was negotiating with our caterer to ensure certain rental items were included in our contract or disputing charges from the transportation company for a town car that failed to show up, I knew I could trust Mitzi to handle everything. Seriously, if you don't want to drive your family, bridesmaids, and future husband crazy with your nonsensical ramblings about first dances and place settings, do yourself a favor and hire Mitzi Torres.     Truly a horrible and disappointing experience with Queen of Harts - in more ways than one - that…read moretruly ruined our reception. We were unsure if we wanted to include a coordinator in our wedding budget but once we determined we would need a room flip, I decided it was worth the investment to not have to have my mom and family do this work so they could just enjoy the cocktail hour. In our initial conversation with owner, Natalie, I expressed to her that all we really wanted/needed is the room flip and putting up décor during the room flip. She assured me via phone conversation and multiple emails that they've done this multiple times at this location and it would be "no problem" It turned out to be a major problem and was not carried out timely nor correctly. We started over 45 minutes late due to the room flip taking additional time and with that, it was not done correctly. The coordinator was provided an exact rendering of the seating for tables and numbers and she switched the two head family tables, causing our families to be completely separated. This was terrible for our out of town guests who were on a completely different level than their families they do not see often. Additionally, we paid for custom acrylic name plates that were not given out to 100+ guests even though it is stated they will "follow your design to a tee" this was a HUGE WASTE of money. But the worst thing is that my mother spent the ENTIRE cocktail hour inside DOING the room flip and décor. I have ONE professional picture with my mom during cocktail hour and that was only due to someone having to pull her from inside to come take the picture only to have her run back in to complete the set up. This is the EXACT reason we hired this company to have family be able to enjoy the hour NOT be inside doing the work, which is EXACTLY what DID happen. My mother, aunts, uncles, and cousins were all inside doing the flip and we STILL started over 45 min late and it was STILL not complete. It breaks my heart that my mom experienced NONE of cocktail hour - we had live music and she heard not ONE song or was able to taste ONE appetizer that was passed - we can never get this experience again nor an opportunity to take these pictures again. To make things worse, when we went to discuss this with Natalie, she became incredibly defensive and stated verbatim, "Everyone has bad days at work, it just sucks that it was your wedding" We are currently pursing litigation against this company as they did not only not provide/complete their service, wasted money on things that were never passed out, they took away precious moments and experiences from the day that we can never get back because my family was doing what we paid them to do. If we were prepared to do this on our own, we would've gotten it done, but we were prepared for THEM to do it since that is what they were paid for and that was our biggest mistake. Please avoid this company, they will only cause stress to your day, please look elsewhere.

She singlehandedly saved our wedding countless times, and made our vision come to life in the most spectacular way! After having been burned by two other so-called wedding planners with 5-star reviews on websites like TheKnot.com and WeddingWire.com, I was reluctant, to say the least, to hire another wedding planner. The first wedding planner I had hired did nothing her contract said that she would do for me (like negotiate contracts and help me find vendors), so I cancelled with her - during which she had made me sign a non-disclosure agreement. The next wedding planner simply took my money and ran. That was a loss of $2K, right there. Gone forever from our wedding budget. Even so, my attendants couldn't help (they lived in Dallas, Oklahoma City, or were overseas) and I was in over my head. I decided to give it one more try. I asked a friend, Tricia, who she would recommend. She gave me Joanne Doll's phone number. Joanne and I met at Bakery Lorraine and I immediately just adored her. She arrived exactly on time, if not a little early. She was the sweetest, most down to earth person. I was impressed by how organized she was, even at our first meeting. She was 100% supportive and enthusiastic about our theme. She told me about her background in teaching and showed me examples of her work. She was upfront about her company's pricing and her contract was written in clear, easy to understand (without needing to have a law school degree!) language. I was VERY PLEASED that her contract did not have a non-disclosure ("no negative review") clause in it. I hired her right then, at that meeting. From before day one, Joanne was responsive, and ALWAYS did what she said she was going to do, when she said she would do it. I would get a super helpful email every month with check-in on various aspects which was insanely helpful. When my father passed away, Joanne gave space when needed and support when needed. Over the course of the past year, I grew to care for her as a friend, if not family, because she was just such an anchor at times. When things hit a snag, Joanne always was able to find a solution quickly and with the greatest of finesse. I was seriously impressed. When the week of the wedding cane, of course, some things went awry, but as usual, Joanne got it handled. Our wedding day would have probably not happened without her excellent judgment and fantastic problem solving skills. I was so very grateful to have her on our team. She really did MAKE our wedding happen! In fact, I was having trouble with the ceremony music, and she was able to, with her skills as THE BEST WEDDING PLANNER EVER, and her knowledge of us as a couple, recommended the perfect song for me to walk down the aisle to. Joanne has absolutely earned a place in our hearts and in our family for her incredible work on our wedding. Our only regret was that we didn't hire her FIRST, as soon as we got engaged. I HIGHLY recommend Lasting Impressions by Design, especially their FULL PLANNING package, because even if you think you already have everything planned out, Joanne will be able to take your vision and make it happen within your budget (if not under), keep you calm when life gets crazy (and IT WILL!), and make the entire process so much smoother. Even if you think you can't afford to hire a wedding planner, I say from experience: YOU CAN'T AFFORD NOT TO HIRE JOANNE FROM LASTING IMPRESSIONS BY DESIGN! As dramatic as that may sound, I never understood just how important a day of coordinator was until we booked with LIBD. Every month leading up to my wedding day, I received emails keeping me on track for my wedding and reminding me of even the smallest details that I might forget! I sent every contract to LIBD to ensure that any breaches of contracts (I'll revisit that) could be taken care of appropriately. When the days were getting close to the wedding, I met with Joanne and Katie to discuss every detail down to the 10 minutes my groom and I would have alone time in the bridal suite after our ceremony. (A necessity by the way!) Joanne and Katie even helped me with some last minute rental items for small details at my wedding that I wanted but had a hard time finding on my own. Come the day of the rehearsal and they were able to lead my wild and crazy wedding party the right way and just as I imagined my wedding to be. Finally, on the day of the wedding, I didn't have to lift a finger. Joanne and Katie teamed up and took care of every detail for me, set up my signage and decor that I brought from home. These ladies made sure that my groom and I never had to stand in line at the bar and had a drink in hand at all times. They reminded me to breathe, kept me on track, and took care of our gifts and cleaning up the items we brought from home and loaded our cars. The photobooth at my wedding showed up over 2 hours late and Joanne and Katie made sure that we received a full refund without me having to say a word to the photobooth company. We have already recommended to a couple friends about hiring a wedding coordinator because of what a pleasant experience we had, we also will be sure to recommend LIBD to any local friends and family members of ours getting married! Thank you Joanne and Katie for every big and little feat you did for Frank and I. We cannot thank you enough!

My husband, Phil, and I waited for 3 years for this wedding because of COVID. At first, it was going to be at Wedgewood Brittany Hill in CO, then it got cancelled because of COVID, then Wedgewood Carmel in CA when things started to reopen, and finally we moved it to Hofmann Ranch because my mom is struggling with complications from her double knee replacement surgeries that were postponed because of COVID and she couldn't fly to CA. The day before our wedding, Southwest cancelled Phil's best man's and his wife's flights, Phil's cousins' flights, and my friend's flights and my uncle had to drive all the way from San Diego the day before the wedding. We were beyond worried and devastated. Because of the Hofmann Ranch team, we felt so secure and so loved and our families and friends were able to meet each other for the first time and connect with each other. Britney thought of everything: making sure that my mom had a place to sit so that she could march with me halfway down the path of the patio deck, she held onto my train, she made a water color Phannie drink sign that was gorgeous, she made sure that we ate, she thought of every single detail and schedule change when our families kept talking and singing (this is what happens when you get a whole bunch of Filipinos together LOL), she made sure that Phil and I ate food, and there are countless other things that I am sure that we don't know about. Giving Britney my bouquet was the only way that I could say how grateful I was for creating a magical place and experience in spite of all the obstacles. Phil and I are so thrilled and feel like we were destined to be married at Hofmann Ranch. You have a special place in our hearts. I hope that your mother liked the bouquet. This is what giving it to you means to me.  We would like to express our love and gratitude to Britney, Sara, Chef Daniel, Mark, Joey, Josh, and the Limelight Photography team. Our coordinator Brittany and captian Sara were angels! They ensured my husband and I got every thing we needed. Chef Daniel and staff Mel, Lizzie, Natalia, Sirena were attentive, efficient and kind. Our Bartender Teresa was lively and quick to tend to our guests. The planning, meeting with vendors and appointments leading up to our wedding were a breeze. Everything was taken care of so well. The venue itself is beautiful we couldn't have asked for anything different. I will forever recommend this masterpiece of a venue! You can tell this staff is very talented and knowledgeable but still makes you feel like your day is most important!
