This place is full of deals. I have purchased so many goods here it's ridiculous. From houseware, to clothes, to car stuff to AUTHENTIC designer handbags. I come here to see if they have an item before going to Walmart. They have a sellers that have tables of items for as low as $1. Theres a guy that sells awesome paintings for just $5! Gotta love the Roadium! Us locals are so lucky to have an open air swapmeet in our hood! Lol I went on Wednesday and admission for myself and my boyfriend was $2.50. Not too bad eh? Wednesday was also fabric day! So if you're ever in need of materials for a project come here on hump day! There didn't seem to be too many vendors the day that we went . there were a lot of booths available for rent so we assumed we chose a bad day to go :( but we did find some goodies! Only bad thing about this place is the parking situation. Oh geeeeze! The actual finding of a parking isn't too bad its just getting in the lot! We had tried the first time and they closed off the lot with a banner so we had to flip a U turn and try again. Luckily the 2nd time we were granted admission! Lol Some vendors sell expired candy so beware! I bought some sugar free almond Roca for my diabetic grandma.... Turns out it was almost a year old! Hahaha. Read all labels before buying :P read more

This review is for the drive-in movies: they are awesome! It's only $25/car, and at a time when movie theaters are closed, it's so nice to be able to get out and do something fun safely! They require you to wear masks when you're out of your vehicle, and the staff all wear masks. There aren't any other drive-in theaters in the area, so it's been a really neat experience. I hope they continue doing it through the fall! read more

I LOVE this place! Heard about it from a few musician buddies of mine. Decided to go this past Monday morning and arrived around 10AM. Drive into the parking lot and pay $1 to enter. .50 cents for each additional person in the car. NOT BAD! So I parked and then just started walking around didn't have much cash so I found an ATM on the grounds. WARNING- the ATM is a RIPOFF at close to 3 bucks for the transaction, so hit your own bank BEFORE you arrive there to save on the atm fees.. I walked around there for a couple hours checking out all the stuff! Found a few really nice pieces of music gear but I had not brought enough money to be able to take advantage of those deals (a really nice tube preamp prices at $170!!! A few more pretty nice instruments as well. My very first purchase there was 2 iphone headsets that USUALLY COST 29.99 at the apple store and anywhere else I see them, are $10 each at this place! ANd I actually got TWO for $15 making it a savings of 75% I will buy my earbuds from there from now on! In fact all the apple accessory stuff was ROCK-BOTTOM priced! Also bought a paint ball gun, helmet, and supply of paintballs for $35 and a few live Music DVD's which I can NEVER find for less than $20 for $7/each and a Hendrix at Monterey and Van Halen live vhs for a buck each! I LOVE this place! they also had sneakers and shoes and TONS of t-shirts and things like that for super cheap. I'll get my sneakers from there from now on as well. This places has everything you need from women , men and children items. Come early to avoid traffic and heat. Even though people suggest to not buy the items you see right away , I advise to buy them because this is a big swamp meet and most of the time you will not make it all the way around to see the whole thing , so you risk the chance of losing the item you wanted. The vendors are all super nice, the staff of the Roadium, not so much. You'll find everything from nail polish, to used clothes to brand new flat screen TVs! Don't expect to bargain for new items as most vendors are pretty firm and if one is selling something for $20 you better believe they're all selling that same item for $20. Food court is looks okay. It's been years since I've eaten there but the menu has expanded with time. I've been coming on and off for 15+ years. The menu consists of just the basics, burgers, hot dogs, salads, and various mexican dishes, tacos/burritos. Entry is like $1.25 a car, plus $0.75 a person, can't argue with that, right. The later you get there the worse the parking so go early. read more

Was here Saturday bright and early... Not too impressed. There was plenty of parking and the admission was $4bucks total for 4 people. We walked up and down the aisles filled with fake name brand items. Lots of low cost health and beauty supplies, damaged or last years t-shirts, small open item appliances and various other new never used but fair condition stuff. Very typical swap meet... but not one vintage or thrift shop stand. No garage sale items or booths. It's ok if that is what you are looking for. I prefer places like the rose bowl and flea markets that vendors bring vintage, used and treasures to sell. The food concession area was nice and there were plenty of things to choose from. Weather was nice and we walked around for about 1hour and a half before we left. Overall would not come back but glad I tried it at least once. C+ read more

Manager Sergio latino bald and rude harassed us females as we were allowed to walk in by showing our identification to the door man since we live nearby and he left us in . So I have been back to this flea market a few times after my initial review in hopes that this place would get a little better. In some aspects it has, and in other aspects it has not! Unfortunately, the couple who work at the store booth located on B24 and B25 are still as rude and inconsiderate as ever to their customers. Other sellers at this swapmeet are very friendly and allow you to try on jewelry or open products because they want to make a sell; whereas, the couple at B24-B25 yell at customers and passerby's just for looking or touching their products! Honestly, the man and woman who work in these 2 lots are extremely abrasive and hostile. I have no idea why they are so incredibly loud and rude towards customers! Especially, the woman!!! It is appalling seeing how they treat customers and to be honest I find their behavior to be very ignorant. The rodium is a nice swapmeet... don't get me wrong it's just like other swapmeets. But if you like getting everyday household items for cheap then I guess this swapmeet is for you. However, many of the items, beverages, and food products that are sold by Rodium sellers are expired... which is not safe to use or consume. read more

Defnitely a fan of the rodium, get great deals on everything from clothes to electronics. I also really like the Fabric guys on Space AAA24, they have a really good variety, everything from Vinyl and upholstery to silk and Chiffon. Oh my god what a experience. The place was dirty a lot of Junk and outdated merchandise. I would never go back to this place the last time I was there was 15 years ago and now I know why . The merchandise was very poor quality and a lot of the merchandise did not even look real. I'm surprised that the health department lets them sell food and fruit. Extremely disappointment. What can I say this hidden or maybe not so Hidden gem of the South Bay. I've been coming here since the begin of time of my existence at least and I hold so many memories close at this place. The radium has something for everyone it truly is a scavenger hunt and a great place for a family outing or to pick up a few home essentials or just to find the bargain of a day. So many antiques and collectibles to brand new goods at a discount bargain rate. It's truly one big yard sale to say. The weekends are more crowded and so of the goods can be priced higher than during the week because of the crowds or maybe because vendors are charged more for the weekend rate. Parking can be a hassle during the weekend but they do offer a bus ride with parking of side at the local el Camino college located about two blocks down. The food court serves great food and they have seasonal events and celebrations for the whole family. Truly a great place for family bonding and outings to enjoy. A must check out place read more

Horrible experience today that made me not want to go back to this place. My whole family loves to walk here but after today I dont think will go back. There was a guy who works there selling gelato who decided to give nasty customer service to my nieces who are minors. He decided to call them names that shocked me. My nieces decided to ask if they can purchase a cup of gelato and split it in two cups and his response was "nigga I dont sell it by the scoop" Now mind my nieces are Hispanic not black and excuse me Mr. Tattated as#hole who tf are you to speak to females minors that way? VENDORS BEWARE! I have done a swap meet in Santa Cruz, CA, paid a $20 flat rate for a booth, and made almost $500 that day. The fee was advertised on the front of the flea market, no exceptions. Here in Redondo Beach, I got there at 7:00 in the morning, and they were auctioning off spaces, even when it clearly says on their website and paperwork that a space was $62. The first space auctioned off for $200 and I left because I was not giving them my money. I would much rather sell my stuff in a garage sale or on Ebay than here. Scam. Scam. Scam. read more

WATCH OUT!!! Do NOT go on a weekend unless you want to be frustrated. There's "policy" on no walk ins. So even if you find a parking spot , in front, you have to walk to El camino college or now pay fee to park. Unacceptable. read more

I really enjoy going to swap meets, if you are looking for a swap meet to go to, try a different one. Anything but here! I have been here twice, bought a few different items from different sellers, much of what I bought turned out to be stolen. The area is extremely shady, I would not feel safe bringing kids here let alone parking my car there again. I would only suggest going If you've had your home robbed in the past and - out of curiosity - you would like to find out where all your stolen stuff ends up, or if you are doing a school project on the spread of disease this would be a great place to study first hand.. the place is a literal garbage dump! ALSO A huge tip for any swap meets, especially this one: If a seller has to "call a buddy" to find out how much to sell something for, it's stolen. They do this so it looks like it isn't theirs and they don't know anything about it, that way if you catch on to the fact that it's stolen they can act surprised as if they didn't know. Thank me later :) Lastly, If you've just gone there and are reading this I have two important suggestions: 1. Take a LONG hot shower with some good antibacterial soap. 2. DO NOT try to resell ANYTHING you bought there, the police will be knocking on your door within minutes! Hope that helps you out :) read more

you can really find great deals here! from nail polishes to bulks of candy and clothes, you can find lots of items at a great price! plus you can bargain with some of the vendors here. there is a lot of different things you can find here. literally everything! you have to pay 50 cents person but if you live around the area just show them your license with your address and you can get in for free. it is PACKED during weekends and there's so many cars on the street. you can park in el camino for free! a shuttle will take you there! read more

Cons - It's dirty, and disgusting - Parking is a hassle, and not free. - Everybody sells crap like used clothes, new crap clothes, or canned foods (uggh) - Everybody in the joint looks scuzzy, watch your purse or wallet. Pros - None that I can think of. Yeah you want to stay far away from this place. I was fooled because of the ad in the LAWeekly, thinking it could be a cool little hip place to find interesting items. All I saw were people selling toothpaste, deodorant, mouth wash, the ugliest clothes, both new and used you could possibly find, and different kinds of food. Who the hell would buy canned foods at a place like this? This place is sooooo disgusting. After I got home I had to take a long, deep cleansing shower to feel clean again. Never again. Don't be fooled by the "free admission" coupons in the LA weekly either, admission is always free. read more

I don't get it. There's always a line of cars waiting to get in on the weekends, but inside I didn't see anything worth while. Ok maybe if you're in need of bulk rate tshirts, but everything seemed like it was from the 99 cent store or the clearence shelves of Target. Maybe there's a secret curtain to find all the good stuff but I didn't have the secrect hand shake to be let in. Even living next to the place they make you walk over to the el camino parking lot to shuttle you in so that you can pay the 75 cents to get in. read more

Where do I start... Well what's great about this place is that it also has a decent selection of vendors and goods. You can easily find something here for a tenth of what it cost in a store. Usually on most days you can drive right in pay your measly 50 cents, park and begin shopping. However on certain days, mid morning there is a line to get in. So when this happens the "security" likes to open and shut the entrance. You might get in you might not. What I don't understand is why they have a "$5 V.I.P. lot that they do the same thing. Last week I woke up late so I expected to not get into the regular cheap parking. As I approached the V.I.P. lot I could see many open spots. I figured I would spend the $5. What's $5 to a high roller like me? Anyway they had that roped off and when I rolled down my window to tell security I would pay $5 he just waved me on. So why the @#$% do you have a V.I.P. lot with empty spaces that you block off???? This is a swap meet, not a Coldplay concert. Common sense is to make money from customers not turn them away. I would give this swap meet 5 stars for selection and those easy to enter days. 3 stars for the busy days when security and or management is clueless about making money.... read more

It's a flea market. So where are the fleas for sale? It's just one big ole cluster-fuck if you ask me. Lots of families ignoring their screaming children. Pregnant women in too tight clothing who were so huge they looked as if they'd burst if bumped into them. You got to ask yourself, do you REALLY need/want to go here? Well maybe if you got a few hours to spare and nothing to do. Its one of the few cheap things to do. Maximum charge per car is $3.75. Makes since they pack up everybody and their abuelo into the car. Maybe your pregnant wife is still wearing those size 10 clothes that she wore back when you impregnated her. Good place to come score some cheap clothes. I got a pair of jeans for $10. I like them. They have a stretchiness to them which is good cause I like to eat!! That said, not many places to eat in here. The Roadium has their own concession stand. I did not try it, nor did I try the little stands with churros & mexican beverages. There was a taco truck we went to where I got to try pupusas. They made them fresh and they were TASTY!! Could have done without the ton of hot tomatoey sauce on top. It made it kinda soggy. I'll know next time to specify any/all sauces on side. It was my first time, who would have known. What don't I like? Other than a screaming kid and every third stall, the predictability. You kept seeing the same thing. Four, massage places that looked like they were owned by same party. Come to think of it, a lot of them looked owned by same. Some looked like garage sales. We walked 3/4 and stopped cause I wasn't seeing anything new. Sitting in the car with the AC rolling sure felt good. We discussed if we were glad we came? Sure, we got some exercise in. I got a new pair of pants and we tried a pupusa. Did we ever want to come again? Nah. Probably not. I'm sure there are better ones. read more

visited this place for the 2nd time today.. when i lived in san jo' i used to visit the "flea market" as what they called it back in the day.. every other month, compared to the san jo swap..the selection here is slim to nonexistent on a tuesday afternoon.. lots of old shiet. lots of stolen make-up from cvs.. lots of overpriced wholesale items.. lots of ann0ying hello kitty shiet. lots of dust and sewage water in pot holes where ever you go.. so make sure to wear boots/ shoes.. i wore sandals today and went straight home to shower and scrub my entire body. just felt so dirty there. their cellphone cases are $16 which is pricey knowing i can get the same one on ebay for $6 the whole reason why i came here was b/c the very 1st time i visited.. i saw some ladies selling a whole bunch of mac makeup products. i asked one of the younger ladies at one of the booths and she said they only came on weekends.. so that was a rip of my $1.00 entry fee i paid.. i left buying $100 worth of fake fake fake cologne!!!!!!!!! don't buy from the young dude (25) and his mom.. they claim their products to be authentic like gucci, versace, dior.. but all their shiet was fake!!! i have the real smaller sized versions at home, compared them, only to find out they were soooo fukn fake! i am still pissed.. i basically went there,, to get dirty, and get ripped off. and to those previous yelpers who claim they can only sell and do sell authentic items. thats complete bullsh!t after that incident, i am not sure if i will be back to check out that smashbox, or mac makeup! maybe if im bored or curious again.. i'll visit this spot when its really up and running. read more

Nice outdoor swap meet. You can park at El Camino College parking lot for FREE. There's a shuttle that drops you off in front of the swap meet. .75 per person entrance. There are some good snacks, but make sure to try to of the fruit drinks at the stands. There are inexpensive electronic accessories, pet supplies, sewing supplies, all kinds if stuff! Many years ago, while a student at El Camino, I'd go to the Rodium Swap Meet and have a good time. It was a lot more like a big garage sale back then. Now, if you don't want to go to Downtown LA to Santee Alley or Broadway, this is the place. If you want new or used items made in China and sold in Spanish, this is it... even sponges, dish soap, and toilet paper. Not much left of the old flea market type stuff.
