Fun, clean and organized parking set up. There are very limited options on family entertainment during this COVID-19 pandemic, so we decided to try a drive-in movie on the week of Halloween. Our experience was great! We got there super early and got a great spot close to the screen, but really it looked like any spot still got a good views. The popcorn from the concession stand was fresh and mocha latte delicious. The staff was friendly and able to direct cars to abide by the safe parking distance. We will definitely return. read more

If you have the patience to get through the parking and the entrance fee, you are good to go! This swap meet is so random, it's pretty amusing to see what sort of junk you will find that is actually something you were looking for, for a fraction of the price. Like for example, the random things I got: new Burt Bee's lipgloss for $1 each, used My Little Pony for $1, new wrist support band for $2, mangoes for $1 each, and cute new baby clothes for $1 each. SUPER random, and not sure if I will come back unless I had nothing else better to do, but it was fun. Some things out there were really odd though. There were several vendors with massive collection of electric cords, vendors selling boxes and boxes of cereal, or lots of people just selling things they probably found on the street, lol. How to turn $10.00 into $100. I found an old Cabinet for $10.00 (I talked the guy into giving it to me for $7.00) he agreed. I had $3.00 left over, I found a section that had 4 pieces of clothing for a dollar, I found 4 pairs of pants, 2 blouses, and 2 blazers (all for $2.00 (Now this was a HUGE pile of clothes, but you must take your time, look and sort through the rubbish. I found ALL name brand items in that pile, there was even a pair of Valentino jeans. I still had $1.00 left over to get a back scratcher! When I got home, I found the cabinet was from Z Gallerie, worth over $200.00, I turned a $10.00 shopping day into a plus for me! Open 7am to 4pm the Roadium has everything you'd ever need, and plenty of antiques and collectibles as well. Sewing machines, typewriters, bar signs, tables, clothes, electronics, furniture, home decor, purses, watches, jewelry, Nike, Converse, watch batteries, fruit, nails, vintage clothing, knock-offs, designer, cd's and desks are just some of the items you can buy. This is a great spot for people who love to treasure hunt. If you like discount stores, garage sales, and thrift stores... you can find a combination of that here except its outdoors. You get to enjoy the beautiful weather, walk, and just hunt. It's your typical outdoor swap meet.. you'll find the t-shirt, socks, & jewelry vendors, some fake name brand clothing, and damaged items from Macys, Target, etc... But there are always some treasures to be found; I've never left empty handed from this place. Plus, you can find several other things i.e. furniture, tools, TVs, video games, weapons, coffins, toys, etc. There are a bunch of regular vendors and new ones.. so there is always something different. You have to arrive early because the vendors start to pack up at around 3pm or earlier. It gets pretty packed here on weekends. Sometimes it's so packed that you can't get into the parking lot. Then you can either circle the lot until they let you in or park at the local college and take the free shuttle bus in. It's free to walk in off the shuttle bus but you have to pay to park $2.00 or so and a $.50 per additional person charge. No street parking allowed. Bring comfortable shoes, shades, sunblock or hat, your water bottle, and cash. Aaah forget it; you can buy all that stuff there for just a few bucks. If you forget the cash there's an ATM machine right next to the bathrooms and restaurant. Speaking of bathrooms, they've been remodeled.. they are so much better now. Happy hunting! Ditto to whatever other people said. I don't know why people complain about cleanliness or knockoffs. This is just like every other swap meet or flea market that I have been to, except a lot larger. Things you need to know (that I wish I knew): -- On the weekends, the regular parking lot fills up, and you *HAVE* to park at the El Camino college. No exceptions. They DO NOT take people walking in, and they are sternly serious about that. -- The El Camino parking lot is letter "L". It's on the southern part of the El Camino campus on Crenshaw Boulevard. This parking lot is FREE (despite signs that say you have to pay $2 seven days per week). -- The shuttle from the El Camino parking lot runs about every 5 minutes, but the last bus leaves from the Rodium at 3PM (that's an hour before closing). read more

Am I the only one that thought this place was horrible? I waited forever to park but still decided to give it a chance ... after all, it must be good if so many people are willing to wait to get in ... right? Upon entering, it felt really dirty and unorganized. Wrinkled clothes piled in mounds, appliances with half open boxes sealed with duct tape, old and expired toiletry items ... no thanks. I would be weary of buying makeup in fear that it may be old products. With that being said ... no way I'm buying food - Even if it is in a box. Clothes are pretty cheap quality ... but if that's what floats your boat then by all means, go for it. There was only one stand I felt comfortable enough to maybe buy something from ... they were selling some pretty cool hats 3 for $10 and t-shirts 2 for $10 and that was a pretty amazing deal. Dude, this place is jacked up. My friend, who is Brazilian, inquired as to the price of a necklace and earrings in English, and the vendor quoted her $20. Then my friend asked in Spanish, and woman quoted her a lower price. I know this kind of "pricing" happens, but that still doesn't make it cool. Dunno, there's a large selection of goods here, that's true, but I felt like they were mostly of poor quality and half of it probably stolen from somewhere else anyway. By far the best Flea Market/Swap Meet I've been to. This place is huge. They do not allow walk-ins you either have to drive in or park your car at El Camino College and hop on the bus to get in. I usually come here on the weekends and it can get crowded quick, so don't be discouraged if you can't enter the parking lot because its full. Just do a couple rounds around the block and you'd be sure to get in around the next couple of rounds. My favorite part about going to Flea Market/Swap Meets is looking at other peoples junk, i'm not into the whole new in the box type items. Here you can find numerous $1 and $2 dollar tables selling anything from your everyday clothes, snacks, medicine, toys, the list goes on. I see the reviews, and a lot of people complain about this place not being clean. It's a Flea Market, not much to figure out. The folks here are bargain friendly, so feel free to haggle. read more

This Market is freaking awesome if you like to treasure hunt like me. Come on weekdays (Wednesday is 5 dollars to get in if you have a car), that's when things are much cheaper, and sellers are more willing to sell at a haggle price. I have not been on weekend, but I heard it's super busy and crowed. I did pay 50 cent for parking and admission (weekdays only, i heard weekends are more). Bring a bottle water and a full stomach and get ready to hunt(drinks were selling at 2 dollar at the food stand/truck area) What I got: two vases from Two's company for under 10 bucks and they were selling online for over 50 bucks. A silver plate I have been looking for to put my jewelries, also under 10 bucks, and i look online on the same company they were selling way more than 10 bucks. Some unopened ziploc freezer bags (i needed those, so save me a trip to target/grocery store) Napkins (saving me a trip to the store) selfie stick 8 bucks There were so many other things there that I know i don't need but I really wanted to get them. I was able to control my hoarder side and only got things I needed not wanted. You won't find any high end stuff on this market nor are you going to find alot of antiques, this is a place for finding neat stuffs in piles of small household items. clothings, decorations and really good for art project and up cycle. read more

Haven't visited since the pandemic started. Appalled to see such a filthy, dirty place. Many vendors were not wearing masks despite all the signage. Merchandise sloppy and many items were displayed on the ground. Vendors seemed hostile and would not speak to us in Spanish or English when we asked for directions to the items we needed. This used to be a clean and tidy operation. No longer. Not a safe place to shop! read more

For someone who is very particular about using public restrooms, my biggest fear is getting the urge in this type of markets. While visiting the Roadium this fear came alive. Surprisingly, the bathroom was cleaner than some malls or other establishment. After that I was able to shop all afternoon in peace, and managed to grab some great stuff at awesome prices. read more

One of my favorite places to bargain hunt. My bf and I love walking up and down the aisles on Sunday mornings. If you're into getting deals and even finding some hidden treasures, you should def give this place a shot. After one visit, I am a fan! Best part is it's open daily. Deals were so good, my pockets were empty before I knew it. For me, this was a great place for: -shirts -dresses -jewelry Prices were cheap! Jewelry ranged from $2 to $10. I bought a couple shirts at $5 each and one at $12. Gorgeous dresses ranging from $5 to $15. Clothing ranges from name-brand quality to factory imperfections. You can kinda tell by how nice the shop is set up. Very low entrance/parking fee. Bargaining wasn't too aggressive. I got a few bucks off here and there. There are also others vendors not much different from your dollar store goods, perhaps a bit more quality, but I didn't buy anything from them. Food was scarce. I only saw a couple snack carts and a taco truck, so I ate outside of Roadium. Gave me a chance to try a local restaurant!: Pho Eva, and it was great! read more

There's always something interesting lingering about through all the junk that is being sold here. Some of the sellers are quite annoying but most of them are pretty cool. A lot of things are really cheap which makes me wonder how they are so cheap. Are they stolen or stolen. It annoys me that you have to pay to get in as most of the time do you go by and walk around and find nothing but trash. Also another thing that gets to me is at this place only takes cash and you don't find Bank ATMs at a place like this all you find is a regular ATM which charges you about three dollars on top of the other three dollars that your bank charges you for using a non-bank ATM. Overall though I come back to this place maybe once every two or three months. There is a seller that sells vans shoes and they are pretty cheap and genuine, or so they appear to be. read more

for what it is.. I like this place. I've been a vendor here about 4 times now. I've only had trouble reserving a space once (my sellers permit didn't print correctly). the downstairs office people are Ok. I feel likes it 50-50 depending on the day haha it's pretty easy to be a vendor here. just need a sellers permit (online: free & takes less than 12 hours to process) & cash to reserve your space. I usually come the day before I want to sell. I can offer tips on how to sell here for anyone that's interested as well as some must haves. i recommend coming in to set up before 7am on a busy day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday & weekends). they say don't clean update till 3, but most people start cleaning up between 1230-130 ish and out by 2. to be a vendor: prices vary by date to shop: $0.50/person admission as a shopper... I've never had trouble finding parking even on weekends. I recommend coming with atleast $40 cash-- you never know what you're gonna find. I also recommend asking for a sellers "best price" if you're too shy to haggle. I'm not good at it.. so I usually just pay asking price. pretty good variety of sellers here. you've got women's clothing, men's clothing, shoes, beauty products, electronics, household items, luggage... and other miscellaneous things. there's like one fabric/notions seller and maybe 2 that sell furniture. I've gotten a couple christmas sweaters, dresses, ps3 games, and hats. i like to shop for clothes here. I also like to look for vintage Dooney & Bourke purses. speaking Spanish is a plus! my Spanish is very limited and often find myself saying "pocito" when asked if I speak Spanish. wish I could..'maybe my haggling skills would be off the hook! anyway.. on overcast/chance of rain days... this place is EMPTY! vendors AND shoppers choose to stay home. I actually really love this swapmeet. They have really great deals on some pretty nice stuff but remember it is s swapmeet so be cautious on what you buy and how much you spend for it. They also have some really great food carts! I think this part is my favorite lol. Most of the time when I shop here it's during the Christmas season I look for toys and also different items for football season like blankets, jackets, etc. Overall you can find some really great items you just really have to be patient and willing to look for the items you want because it can be a little bit disorganized. It's also very packed at times and the parking can be a pain in the butt. Check it out for yourself people you might just find some hidden gems. read more

So we stumbled upon this place via a flier at the rental car agency. It came with a coupon for 50% off admission, but even at full price (a whopping 50 cents) this place is well worth checking out. I am pretty sure you could find whatever it is you might be looking for somewhere within the meandering stalls of this flea market. As we were traveling, we really weren't looking for much beyond produce (the poblano peppers, tomatillos, and mango we got there were fantastic) but my friend did snag a cheap pair of sunglasses there as she had forgot to bring hers with her. One purchase we made was a dragon fruit, the woman running the stand helped us pick out a ripe one and explained how to eat it which was great as neither of us had ever seen one let alone eaten one before (it was a real treat by the way and I would recommend trying one if you get the chance). While there we also had lunch, Mexican food of course, at one of the vendors - the food was simple but tasty and inexpensively priced. We also made a trip back to the Roadium just before catching our flight home to Ohio to pick up some Mexican candies for the co-workers we'd left behind (chili powdered lollipops anyone?). We went mid-week so parking wasn't a problem but on weekends I can see how it might be difficult to find a spot in the lot. I saw from another review that they operate a free shuttle to and from the parking lots at the college down the street so you might just plan on that straight up as the lot is TINY!!! VENDORS BEWARE: what SUCKS about this swap meet is that they don't give credit to vendors on rainy days. This swap meet makes enough money to hand over a free spot rental due to bad weather conditions!! But no... It just rubs me the wrong way to see a parking lot full of vendors who can't sell and are assed out what they payed the Roadium. WAIT... I also got over charged $29 for my spots! my advice is count your change at the window! Do the math even though there is a long line behind you. Wednesday is antique day? Maybe I'd like the place better then (I'm looking for a nice wrought iron coffee table) but on a weekend I couldn't find anything I want. A lot of the vendors seemed to carry similar or identical products and the prices weren't exactly dirt cheap and I quickly lost interest, couple of times here was enough for me. What I wanted to see is more of a garage sale type of things (such as old high quality fishing gears, tools, etc). I once found an old JC Higgins/Shakespeare spinning reel for like a buck (Irwindale swap meet I believe, years ago), a buck! The reel is durable and high quality and I got a lot of use out of it, very maintenance free. This experience kept me walking the isles at Roadium but not a hint of such gems lying around here unfortunately. read more

I love places like this. Just think of it as the .99 store on steroids. If you live that "above the 10 FWY" lifestyle, this is definitely not the spot for you. But for common folks like me...this is heaven. But seriously, the Roadium Air Market (Swap Meet for us hood folks) has some great items that you'll love. And for much better prices that you'll find at many retail establishments. Whatever you need: electronics, electronic accessories, tools, massages, furniture, incense, razor blades, clothes (even though I wouldn't wear them) ...they've got 'em! Parking prices vary, depending on how many passengers you have in your vehicle (max. $3.50). But as mentioned, you can park down the street at El Camino Community College's parking lot, and take a free shuttle; I prefer to pay and park. BUT i recently went back because my co-worker told me that they have those $200 straighteners they sell at the mall for wayy cheaper. & i really needed a good straightener so i decided to give the roadium another shot. &&& im so glad i did 'cause i got an ISO straightener for 25$ and i LOVEEE it! i also got a few earrings which were $1 a set and cute hellokitty nail decals for 50 cents. :D anywho i will definitely be coming back for more! my friend told me she got legit uggs for 15$ so i'll be looking for that next time :) read more

Yeah, I already noticed that most of the reviews of this venue show up on Yelp under "Roadium Open Air Market", but I don't know anyone that actually calls it that, so I thought I'd put my review here, under the only name I've ever heard it called. The Roadium is a re-purposed Drive-In theatre. Whoever thought to abandon the Drive-In Theatre in lieu of a full time swap meet, was a total genius! I'm sure they're sitting on a pile of $$ that just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I used to buy my razors at Riteaid and I always felt ripped-off when I paid the exorbitant prices they charged. At The Roadium, once you know where to go, you can buy the same razors for 1/3 of what Riteaid charges. I'm not going to specify which razors, because every guy reading this who may also use these razors, probably already knows exactly which ones I'm talking about! I also come here to get my smartphone swag, like extra batteries, car mount kits, leather cases, etc. The prices on these items are a fraction of the cost you'd find anywhere else retail. Again, you have to know where to go. Some of the vendors have been in the exact same spot for many years and that provides an enhanced element of trust. I certainly can't speak for every vendor, but a good example of this is Prime Time Jewelry which is located in the same row as the snack bar and across from it on its west side (#D-20). I've bought a heap of stuff from them over the years. I used to take it and have it appraised by a 3rd party immediately after purchase and it always appraised at a much higher value than what I had actually paid! You can buy anything at The Roadium, or so it seems. I wouldn't be surprised if someone with Mcguyverish abilities and intent could make an improvised space shuttle (minus rocket propellant, of course!) ...And, if anyone knows Mary, who used to sell designer women's fashions for many years in the triple space across the patio from the snack bar, please hit me up. First timer at the Roadium today. Overall an OK experience. I've read alot of the reviews here and yes this place is extremely dirty. I've seen some reviews on how many things people sell are stolen and now I could see why that is possible. There are many vendors who sell brand new merchandise like tools, kitchen equipment in brand new boxes and are yelling for people to buy them.. However there are many people who drive the market value of items. Positives: Security was very nice and helpful as well as the people collecting admission fees. -fun to walk around and see what people are selling Overall a 6.5/10 in my opinion. I would give 5 *'s, but twice (on seperate ocassions) I went and there were only 1/4 of the vendors there! :( So disappointing... There is a lot of stuff in this marketplace! Prices are below the usual retail but feel free to haggle. You can find many goods here from electronics to luggage to plants. You should check all the stores before purchasing electronics. Many stores may carry the same item but for way less. In general, the storekeepers are nice and want to make a sale to you. I love the Roadium. I always find something cool. It's such a big place and has a lot of vendors that sells anything you can think of...vintage toys, clothes, home decor, car parts and etc.. Things I've bought here are... -Thanksgiving and Christmas decor that are still in packaging -Christmas gift wrapping and a bag of bows for $1 each. -Ugly Thanksgiving and Christmas sweaters and vest for $1 each. -Doggie bed for $6 -bag of Mexican candies $2 and pinata $15-20 They also have a massage place, which is kind'a random but cool and pretty good food court where they sell Mexican and American food. Their tacos are bomb! Parking can be tough but it is what it is. You just have to be patient. read more
