Has got to be one of the most expensive cups of coffee in the city but so worth it!! I forgot the name of the drink but they used freshly ground cashew as their cream base and honestly, it was the most nutty and buttery iced coffee I've tried! I also got a pound of their nuts but didn't get a chance to try it as it poured that day and soaked through the packaging. Would definitely come back and splurge on this expensive yet delicious drink,!

I love TRN! Happened to be in the area so decided to drop in, They have anything nut-related, including various nut butters and snacks. On my first visit, I picked up 100 grams of the Six Mix and another 100 gram bag of Everything But the Bagel Cashews. They have some pretty unique flavourings that I haven't seen anywhere else. Both were delicious. The former has a sweet and spicy taste; at first bite, you can taste the sweetness and then soon after the spice comes. It's hard to describe so you'll have to try it! Today was our second time visiting TRN. I had to try the Cashew Butter Latte. So, so, so good! It's a little pricy as it will cost you more than $7. It's a good thing that I'm not super close to this shop because I would end up drinking this everyday. If you're looking for a snack for yourself or a unique gift to a nut-lover, check it out. Good for: coffee/tea, snack, pantry item

    Flat White to go.

A purveyor of premium nuts and in-house made nut butters and beverages which also serves as a premium coffee shop that's open later than most in the area. What a great idea for the near Queen West area! So far I've only gone there for the coffee shop part of the business but l've been happy to have them on the rare occasion when I'm in the Bellwoods neighbourhood (almost always in the evening) especially now that White Squirrel has shortened it's hours. I look forward to trying the nut butters when I'm ready to splurge. They serve drip coffee and espresso with beans from Pilot. Not my personal top choice but always one of the welcome ones, particularly where espresso based drinks are concerned. The Flat White and Latte are fairly simillar from both Heritage and Monument beans with a toasted nutty taste that's appropriate to the store's theme. The drip with Heritage for me was just OK. I have yet to encounter an owner or manger, and the one small quibble I have is none of the staff I dealt with could tell me if the nut butters can be ordered un-roasted or in custom blends. I thought it was odd such requests were not anticipated in a narrowly focused specialty shop. I could have asked by e-mail but I'll hold off until I'm ready to buy. So far I'm comfortable rating them a solid 4 -Stars just on the coffee shop and the promising concept. To get a full 5 next time I expect the nut butters should be superior to the ones from Fruit of the Land to validate the premium price.

I ordered the iced latte. They make it with espresso and its STRONG. I forgot to ask for sugar or sweetener and it was way too bitter for me. If you love strong coffee you'll love their coffee. I ended up going back and adding sweeter. They offer non dairy alternatives.

I love the concept of TRN - small batches of house made but butters and a cafe that features those butters in their food and drink prominently! My favourite items? The (vegan) hazelnut cocoa butter, the cashew butter latte, and the nut butter coconut yogurt parfaits - perfect takeaway combo for lunch or midday!

What a cute little shop! I walked in looking for a coffee and a treat and was not disappointed - they had a variety of nuts to grab in snack-sized portions, along with a bunch of different types of nut butters. Things like macadamia butter, chocolate hazelnut, etc. The weather was nice today so they also had their patio open (small, but still some seats) I noticed you could buy milks (oat milk?!?) by the litre (~$9). They also had a couple of nut-based treats, like peanut butter cookies. I even saw a few great holiday gifts, like different dark chocolate/nut bars, that were pre-wrapped and would make a great gift. The employee who worked there was even sweet enough to give us a little sample of chocolate to try! She also mentioned there would be a couple pumpin-esque flavours coming this weekend. I think this would be a great place to buy a specialty nut or nut butter, but also it is a great cafe! Ultimately, ended up getting a London Fog which was a solid 10/10, would absolutely buy again.

Just a few of the bags I got!

I ended up selecting pistachio butter, chocolate hazelnut and macadamia nut butter because they were some of their more unique flavour offerings.

The restaurant is In what is popularly called Little Tibet. The place is small, about 8-10 tables, and the largest seating is for 6 people. Neat, bright, and cosy interiors are welcoming. The staff is friendly, always smiling, so easy to speak to. The food is simply amazing. The flavours, scents and colours are irresistible. We've tried the momos (both steamed and fried, veg/chicken/beef), fried noodles, pork... each dish is better than the other. The salted Himalayan butter tea was a lovely surprise and I can't get enough of it. The food can be spicy, I love it, but do let them know in advance based on your tolerance. A gem of a place, will definitely visit again.

First time trying Tibetan & Himalayan cuisine, and it was a really interesting experience. I usually lean more toward other Asian and Southeast Asian flavours, so this was a nice change of pace rather than my usual go-to. Overall, the food and vibe made for a solid visit--unpretentious, authentic, and clearly a place that puts care into what they do. Glad I checked it out and would recommend it if you're looking to try something different.

Inside, its on the rustic side with naturally decaying walls and patina of wear on the tables and chairs. My latte was good. My scone would have been better if it was less cold. Due to amount of butter and cheese in the dough, with it being really quite cold, it felt vey congealed - but it had great flavour. I would order it again, but I'd perhaps see if they could heat it, or I'd take it home and heat it. The staff was friendly. Would I return: Yes - but I think there are other options in the area that I might head to first. Would I recommend: This is a great place for people who live nearby to get their morning fix.

I really hope they'll be able to bring more of that soon. Their coffee is great. I swear you could play European handball in here, yet you'll only find two easy chairs, two kitchen-sized tables and several rattan seats near the front. That's not to say the atmosphere isn't swell. My latte was served at approximately 451 degrees Fahrenheit and took some time to produce, but it was tasty and only $2.75.
