Since then the roof has held up great! Last week I started seeing a leak on the outside of my house. I called them up and the owner sent someone out the same day just to rule anything out. When they came out we both agreed that it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the roof, but that didn't stop them for doing their best to stop it from leaking they added some caulking around some holes in the stucco and masonry and fixed up some of the flashing near the leak. After that, it was still leaking, but Brad, the owner, was kind enough to come out again, even though it had NOTHING to do with the roof just to double-check on me and make sure that I was doing well. At the end of the day, they took off a side gutter and found a hole in the wall that the builders had left from when the house was built. Again, STILL not roof related, but they treated me like family and helped me as if it were and fixed it up for me. Literally cannot say enough good things about WDR! I've never found a company that is this helpful or this responsive.

He guided us step by step while dealing with insurance and in getting approval from the HOA. The Top Dog team replaced my whole roof in one day. The team was fast, efficient, and respectful to us and our property. They did a thorough cleanup after the job. It's been 4 months and the roof holds up great and beautiful. Because 21st Century is so popular with local school districts and commercial clients, their summer schedule fills up fast. However, they promised they could start our project in August during the first week of school, and they delivered right on schedule. Throughout the planning phase, they were incredibly responsive to all my questions and accommodating whenever I needed to update our project scope. When work began, the execution was incredible. They initially estimated the job would take between a week and a half to two weeks. For our nearly 3,200 sq. ft. home, we stayed at a nearby Airbnb expecting a longer process, but their team was so efficient they started on Monday and wrapped up completely by Saturday! The quality of work was outstanding, and their customer service is truly top-notch. As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, I was amazed when I did my initial walkthrough. There were only a few minor spots that needed touch-ups; everything else looked flawless. The owner, Gary, and project manager, Mike, maintained excellent communication and knew the exact status of the project at all times. The crew was courteous, respectful of our belongings, and made sure the house was securely locked up every day. Heck, if for some reason I moved to another state and was in contract to buy a home, I'd probably fly Jesse to that home for the inspection. I was concerned about getting my roof replaced after several storms this past year. I'd spoken to a contractor whose information I obtained at a festival in the town, where they had a booth set up. Most of the reviews for that company were positive, but there were a few negative ones. The contract I was shown made me worry. I kept looking and then selected Roof Joker. I selected them because of some advertisements I'd seen. The lady helping me set up an inspection was professional and friendly. Shaun, the contractor, was awesome. He reviewed the process and answered any questions and concerns I had. We scheduled the work and confirmed the payment process. Weather caused a delay and Roof Joker was very quick to reschedule at a date that was most convenient for me. The process was very smooth, and the crew was professional and friendly! I've worked in the insurance industry for 43 years, so I was familiar with the process. Dan Clawson came out to take a look at the flashing around my chimney which a corner had come undone. He was on time and very polite. I have to say he was very professional unlike the 2 other roofing company reps that were supposed to call me the next day to come out and never called. The other rep, i called 3 times and he cancelled 2 times 2 hours after our agree time, even though he was working 3 or 4 blocks away and only showed up after i called their office. Roof Joker Dan was totally different! Very professional. He asked questions and made suggestions. He said since the cost of replacing the flashing around a chimney is expensive if done correctly , he recomended doing a minor temporary fix with a couple of screws until i do the roof replacement. Unfortunately he did'nt use 2 of the same screws, but because of how professional, polite and concerned about making sure i was happy, I will use them for my roof replacement when it's time. I have had two standing seam metal roofs installed on my house in two years. After yet another intense hailstorm, my insurance inspector said I needed another new roof. It was barely a year old and there was no visible damage. I wanted a second opinion on the wisdom of replacing it. Aside from the noise, mess, and cost, it seemed such a terrible waste of metal. Josh came out, climbed on the roof, made a few observations, and pronounced the structure sound. I appreciate his time and energy in helping me feel confident that the roof is okay. He's also very organized in communication and texting, which is a basic form of professionalism not always found in the building trades. I wanted to pay him for his inspection time, but he refused. This is going to be my first 5 star review for Jason from The Roof Joker. I can tell everyone who has any issue at all with a roof problem or a leak of any kind, to call these folks immediately! We came home from a week away to hear loud dripping in the spare bedroom and water coming out of the light fixture with the carpet soaked. Jason came out quickly and determined the cause was builder error (our house is only 6 years old). Builder used cheap screws And shoddy workmanship, etc where the vents were on the roof. Leak has been occurring for a few years in small quantity but yesterday's storm pushed everything over the edge! We had what seemed to be a water leak, but plumber found no leaks so recommended that we see if we had a roof leak. The Roof Joker responded quickly to my request. They were funny guys, but incredibly technological, using thermal cameras and even having a drone on hand. We live in a 4 story townhome, so accessing the roof might have been a tough job without that drone. They were incredibly thorough, did tell a few good jokes, but most importantly did a great job, quickly and to a very high standard. Art managed to fit us in just a couple of days after a huge hailstorm when most roofers were days out. The inspection was free and while luckily we had no hail damage he repaired an issue with some of our flashing free of charge while he was doing the inspection. The crew was here within the week and only took one day to roof 1,748 sq feet. They cleaned up, with not a speck of stuff anywhere and also blew the leaves off of our porch and patio, which saved me a lot of time and effort! My previous experiences with contractors have ranged from marginal to good, but our experience with Impact Renovations has been exceptional. We first contacted Impact about renovating an old outbuilding on our property that had a partially collapsed roof. From our initial discussions about what we wanted, to the specifications, timeline, and expected quality of the work, we were impressed by their thoroughness, professionalism, and responsiveness. We signed a contract in late May 2026, with completion estimated at 6-8 weeks, and they were remarkably close to that timeline. Throughout the project, communication was excellent. I always knew what to expect, when to expect it, and who would be on site. My primary contacts were Eric and Bryan, and both were personable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We especially appreciated that Eric and Bryan, who is also a co-owner, were regularly on site to inspect the work and make sure everything was progressing properly. Brandon, the other owner, also stopped by to inspect the project and discuss an unexpected issue that arose. Because this was a renovation of an 85-year-old building, we encountered numerous unexpected problems along the way, including several walls that had to be partially removed and rebuilt in order to complete the project. Impact took every challenge in stride, and the end result far exceeded our expectations. In fact, the building was truly a wreck when they started. Before contacting Impact, we had even obtained estimates to simply demolish it. Seeing what they were able to accomplish was incredibly impressive. If you're considering a renovation or construction project, I strongly recommend talking with Impact Renovations before selecting a contractor. We couldn't be happier with the work they did for us, and we would absolutely use them again.

Brandon failed to verify permit requirements with the City of Lakeway for the buildback portion of the job, which caused additional delays. I was then told the delays were because I would not hand over the full insurance payment before the rebuild even began, which I had been advised not to do. I also did not feel the company was transparent about the subcontractors working on my home. After the mitigation work was finished, I chose not to continue with them for the rebuild. Windows and doors were left unlocked, wood from under the dumpster was left on site, and trash from subcontractors was left in my garage. Overall, I would not recommend this company. Your response to my first review leaves out important facts. I was asked on 12/10 to turn over the full insurance amount for the buildback before I had even received a scope of work, which was not provided until 12/12 after multiple requests. On 12/16, I reported the dented microwave, asked to review subcontractor estimates before any work was scheduled, and specifically raised the issue of permits. At that time, I was told permits would be properly obtained and estimates and scopes would be shared in advance for review. If your actual position was that no permit inquiries or other buildback steps would happen unless I first handed over the full insurance amount, that was not clearly communicated. I paid what was owed for the completed mitigation and remediation work, which took more than three months to finish. My decision not to move forward with the rebuild was based on the lack of transparency, the delays, the conflicting communication, and the condition in which my home was left, including unlocked doors and windows, debris left behind, and damage I reported during the process. At no point was my concern a refusal to pay for completed work. My concern was being asked to release roughly $78,000 before I had any real transparency into pricing, estimates, or the full scope of the rebuild. Combined with the delays, the communication issues, and the condition of my home, I did not feel comfortable trusting them to handle the rebuild.

They found long term hail damages and helped us work with our homeowner insurance to get our whole roof replaced. Top Dog only charged us the amount set by insurance, which is way less than what other companies quoted us. My agent from Top Dog was Vance Blair. He was the nicest guy - friendly, knowledgeable, super attentive and punctual. He was helpful without being pushy. He responded to all my texts and calls within the hour. He guided us step by step while dealing with insurance and in getting approval from the HOA. The Top Dog team replaced my whole roof in one day. The team was fast, efficient, and respectful to us and our property. They did a thorough cleanup after the job. It's been 4 months and the roof holds up great and beautiful.
