I have had only experiences at their mobile bus and one other radiology imaging place. The other radiology imaging place was not a great experience when they were scanning me. It was very uncomfortable. I have been to the Rose's mobile unit and their service was always great and I was in and out, so I decided to try out their Galleria location. When I walked in, I stood behind a person that was being helped. When she was done, the older receptionist told me "you need to sign in over there" with a straight face and didn't even look at me. I thought that was a bit rude. Luckily the younger receptionist called me and she was very pleasant. I probably waited about 20 minutes in the waiting room before going back. I was afraid I was going to wait even longer when they had me undress and wait in another waiting room. However, they were quick to see me and the technician was very friendly. When I was done, they gave me a goody bag with some free toiletries in honor of Breast Cancer awareness month. So aim to do your scanning in October! read more

I will not be going back. They ask that you arrive 30 minutes ahead of time only to put you in a waiting room packed with a lot of other women who are also sitting there and they keep you waiting for AN HOUR - all of the women sitting half naked in hospital gowns waiting to be seen for an hour. There is a wall of lockers with signs that say you may not use them and the dressing rooms also state that you may not leave your clothes in there. So where do you put your clothes? You literally are asked to sit in a hospital gown with your clothes on your lap for an hour. Here's what happens after that: if you are lucky, you get to be seen by Erica who is compassionate and decent. If you get stuck with Sherry, the other tech, good luck to you! I was finally brought in to see Sherry after I inquired if they forgot about me after an hour. Sherry was rude and obnoxious when I told her I had been waiting for an hour. She shoved me forward into the machine and reached for my breast before announcing what she was about to do! Zero dignity or respect and frankly aggressive! My nose hit the plexiglass plate and when I objected to that and told her that my nose hit the glass, her answer: "well you should have turned your head!" Then she walked out of the room and left me there. This place is a train wreck - very poorly managed and an assembly line meant for cattle. FIND ANOTHER PLACE FOR YOUR MAMMOGRAM. I have gone there several years in a row and frankly, it's hit or miss in who you get for a tech, but always they book way too many people - which explains the long wait, the lack of dignity and respect, and the assembly line for cattle. read more

I love this place, they get me in and out pretty fast, even last time when they had no record of the appointment I'd made online. But please stop calling me to wish me a happy birthday! I get my mammograms a few months before my birthday so seeing a message from you freaks me out! It's like you're pranking me without trying. Also, the machine voice is very impersonal. I get the idea, you're trying to remind people to get their mammo without reminding them to get their mammo. But I already had mine so my mind goes straight to lump and cancer!!! read more

I spoke to Beatrice "Bea" Young, and she was so kind and turned my request around so quickly, I am truly grateful. I attended my Mammogram appointment and had an incredible experience. I have never been treated so well, both Kia & Bea went above and beyond, spending extra time with me, praying with me, and giving me their wisdom and support regarding my current situation, I was literally in tears the entire time as my heart was so touched. They took time out of their busy day to stop and give me the attention I so needed, and I can't thank them enough, they even followed up to check on me the next day. I received a mammogram on Friday. The front staff are excellent, friendly and informative. My appointment was at noon. I completed it by 1:20 pm. The actual exam left my right arm near my bicep bruised and my chest is still sore on Saturday. The employee barked instructions while stretching my arms like playdough. She screamed, "don't breathe," while she smashed my chest like a car in a junkyard with the machine. It's an extremely horrible experience which thankfully lasted 10 minutes for both sides.This machine is great if you ever want to do interrogation. I am ready to become an FBI agent. My thoughts & prayers are with you who are required to do it annually. read more

Horrible. I made an appointment 2 months ago. I showed up today for my appointment to be told that they do not accept my insurance and that I would have to pay $400 if I want to be seen. Are you kidding me!?!?!?! They've had my insurance info for months. They even called me 2 days ago to confirm my appointment and not once did they ever verify my insurance??!?!?! I'm a single mother and I missed time off of work to go to this appointment today. What a waste. The receptionist just apologize and said "I'm sorry they were supposed to call you but I don't see that they did." Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

i came here as recommended by my doctor. the nurses had were both wonderful and personable- one doing the mammogram and the other a sonogram. however when it came to the doctor for my results, she came into the room told me my particular issue and walked out. literally one sentence and left. i wasn't told what the next steps would be or asked if i had any questions. i definitely won't be returning and i have NEVER had an experience in the medical field as such. read more

This office at Galleria has problems. I wish my insurance would let me go some other place. Please give me my records so I can take to a place that is going to do what they say. Scheduling was quick and simple...could have been done online or via phone call to make my appointment. I didn't wait long in the waiting room for my mammo. Ultrasound took longer than I expected about an hour and half. It's good that they were thorough. This facility charged a lot less if you compare to other imaging or hospitals. I heard positive recommendations from several doctors. I would recommend this facility to others. read more

Being new to the area and needing a mammogram follow up, I researched around and came across this clinic. The staff is rude and insensitive. Being self pay I was hoping to split my payments but they only allowed 2 payments & did not discount my fees.Time management with appointments are not a priority. My appointment was scheduled at 10am, arrived 30mins early and waited for 2 hours before deciding to cancel. I will probably not return for future testing. Very disappointed!! read more

This keeps changing and I want to share because Breast Cancer is best if caught early (any cancer). I got a couple reminders in the mail to make my 6 month appt (in that time I met with a genetic dr who wants me on tamoxifen for 5 yrs) I was busy with work. By the 3rd notice that asked me to call since I wasn't responding to make the appt. I called and left a message and they promptly called me back the next day. HOWEVER the person calling said (didn't come across as polite in any way) "I got your message and I CANNOT make your appt because there is a change in procedures. Have you seen your dr? No. Well you need to go to your dr to make the appt." The THREE letters were just a courtesy to call and make an appt. I have a VA dr ... not easy to schedule an appt with... so I'm going to pass because this is too difficult, even though I'm high risk. I just watched on tv (interview with the news) how you do low income screens and such, but I cannot be seen till I climb thru every loophole. I'm completely disappointed by your program and will wait until I can find time to fly home to CA where I won't get the unpleasant responses by he staff. Went with my mom to The Rose for a mammogram & wow. The clerks at the front desk were so unprofessional & LOUD. She was playing music so loudly that the entire waiting room could hear it. She was so loud with patients she was helping I could clearly hear all the information that was given out. So unprofessional. On top of that, it nearly took 3 hours to get a mammogram. A mammogram doesn't need to take that long!!!! read more

I called to schedule my first mammogram and was left on hold for 8 minutes on mute by a rep., I knew that I was on hold because the music stopped playing and when I decided to call back and merge the call. I heard someone breathing hard and then disconnected the call. I decided to call back, and the lines were busy, so I requested a call back with an automated system. I received the call back 10 minutes later from a different phone number, so when the lady on the line said hello - no company branding or nothing- I asked if this was my back from the Rose. She responded this is the place you called. I'm like, ma'am, it was a call back from a random number. Nonetheless, I stated that I was a new patient and would like to schedule a mammogram; she asked what kind. I advised her that my doctor referred me and asked if she could provide what I should look for on the order form to define what type of mammogram it is. She started going off on a tangent about she couldn't use the CPT code and to call the business department. Then I asked if she could verify if they accepted my insurance, and she told me that I needed to contact my insurance provider to confirm instead of asking her. We all know that one day you can accept the insurance and the following day not. I would take her a few minutes to confirm, and she was unwilling to do so for a new client. I told her not to worry about I would never patronize their facility or tell anyone I know too. read more

I had been going to The Rose for probably 12 years. They weren't always timely, but the last time I went in 2016, I arrived half an hour early and sat for nearly 2 hours in the waiting room. All the while, the receptionists and the clerks jabbered on in loud voices about partying the night before, and other inappropriate talk. Really unimpressed and they weren't even friendly or mindful about what was going on around them. I asked what was taking so long and basically got a shoulder shrug. Then I finally got called back in to undress and wait. And, wait I did. It was another hour before I was seen by the technician, who was lovely by the way. No way should a mammogram take three hours! I complained loudly and then was squired back to the office manager who was equally unimpressive and couldn't care less about what I was telling her. So, the best way to let her know that I was so upset by the changes I see at this place over the years, is to go somewhere else, which I will be doing next week. This place used to be okay, but they are heading in the wrong direction. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! read more

I was hesitant to go to this facility at first as my call went to a FULL message box. My call wasn't returned. I pursued and followed up with an appointment for a mammogram. I found the technician to be so very kind and competent. 3 weeks later I received the dreaded letter requesting I return for more tests. They accommodated with a timely appointment. Again the technicians were caring and careful. An actual doctor came in with the results. He patiently answered ALL of my many questions. I never felt him to be demeaning or harried. Thankfully, my results were negative; but I knew at the time, relieving much anxiety. I would highly recommend them for their knowledge, care and expertise. They obviously know what they are doing. read more

Wow check this out, after confirming with the staff that my insurance (blue shield blue cross) covers my check up. They sent me a letter two weeks later claiming that the insurance called back and said they couldn't cover it and charged me market price. I have always wanted to support The Rose as I have private insurance, however after 2 incredibly bad experiences I will no longer be able to do that. Last year I waited for 2 1/2 hours for my appointment and was never given any information. Today I showed up for my appointment only to learn that the person who registered me for my appointment had registered me for the wrong type of mammogram. The person registering me never asked what type of mammogram my doctor had ordered. read more

Do not use this place! You can go on line to set up an appointment and they send an email response in return saying someone will call you. However, that's as far as you will get! No body calls you to set up your appointment and all you will get is voice mail. I guess they don't want woman to get their mammograms and it is breast cancer awareness month! read more

The Rose does not have a receptionist, only automated messages. The way to effectively make an appointment is to go in person. Secondly, if someone does call back and leaves a message, 24-48 hours later, there is no direct way to reach them, only automated messages. read more

The doctors and nurses at The Rose are wonderful and patient but the customer service at The Rose is horrible. I was inquiring about the sponsorship program that they offer since I was not informed how much I would have to pay until less than 48 hours before my appointments. Helda, the Sponsorship Coordinator called me back about the sponsorship who was 1. speaking to other people in the background, (which is very rude when someone is trying to get information about something as serious as a biopsy). 2. Yelling at me over the phone with broken english and reading over all of my patient details and notes which sounded like she was in a room full of people. 3. She basically told me she could not help me because, "you have insurance and the program is for people who don't have insurance and cannot afford it." i asked if if there is any way since I have not been seen for my appointment could I possibly not claim this on my insurance because I cannot afford this procedure. The Rose is supposed to be this great place where people can go and receive great treatment but they seem to care more about politics than patients. Everyone who needs help should receive it but don't forgot about the women who do go to work everyday and try to make ends meet. Unfortunate situations happen unexpected medical bills are one of them. Don't cater to women who don't have insurance who probably shouldn't be in this country anyway and get almost everything for free and women who work cannot get any help when needed. read more

I am pleasantly surprised by this facility. I went there because of the ad that 3 paid patients can provide enough money to cover one indigent patient. Not very high expectation for care. I was given an 7a appointment in order to get in and out quickly before work. I got a call that my appointment will be 7:40a: red flag, did not like that. I almost cancelled but was told to show up at 7a. Everything went without a hitch: paperwork done at 7a, got in and out in one hour for 2 procedures. People are very nice. The facility is not super pretty like some but decent and clean. Staff accommodates your request. Fast and efficient and that's what I like. I do feel good that I may help another person getting her mammogram and the care is still good. Highly recommended although the clientele there is a little bit mixed, but that's what you would go there for also, right???? Take care of yourself while taking care of others. read more
