Not worth the hype. They call it an "experience", so they can kick you out and turn tables at 1.5 hours, but let's make sure you take care of your guests in that time frame guys. My husband and I were 50 mins late because of a prior engagement, but my friends were there at the reservation time. Even though we showed up late, my friends had still not gotten their 2 appetizers (hummus and dates) or their first round of drinks (only 4 drinks). She finally delivers the drinks and asks to take my order. I ask her for a suggestion of something sweet or strawberry like for my husband and she seems annoyed and tells me to scan the QR code to look at pictures and she'll be back. Hmm, Ok then. She comes back a few mins later and takes my order. A little while after that, she drops off mine and my husband's drinks and then tells my friends that our time limit has reached the one hour mark and that we only have 30 mins left with our reservation. What the?! My friend then tells her that we JUST got our first round and we haven't even gotten our food. She also asks if we're still going to get kicked out if we don't get our order. The girl looks shocked, but tells her our food will be out shortly. I think she forgot to put the order in. My friend also says that the server had to retake their drink order before I got there. She did drop off a complimentary one because of it, but one drink between 4 people doesn't really go a long way. After all this, another server seems to take over, as she is the who drops off our food and comes back with plates. We ask to place another order of drinks before we are asked to leave. She says we're all good, takes our next order and has them out quickly. She redeemed the last part of our visit, but it was irritating to see a 20% gratuity ($46) added for a party of 6, when only the last 20 mins (after server 2 took over), was worth that. All in all, the food was actually awesome, the second girl was great, and the drinks were pretty, yet overpriced. I'm still questioning what the "experience" is though? At other bars/ restaurants that claim this, you usually get some sort of light show or replicated rain storm or something read more

If you go to the rose garden, order the hummus. If Chef Mike is there, that will guaranteed be the best hummus you have ever had. Mike took pride in the hummus, and made sure we had enough bread, and were taken care of. It seemed like he was happy to be there and happy to prepare food for us. Servers were very friendly and attentive. The chili oil hummus and cookie-ice cream dessert were delicious, both pairing well with the specialty cocktail I ordered. The chef brought out the orders himself and said that they were his original recipes. Loved the decor and lighting, made the vibe very conducive for relaxing and having a good time. This was my first time to The Rose Garden. Such a nice spot. Located in the middle of the city between high rises. A girlfriend and I needed time to catch up and I'm glad we chose this place. It was a Tuesday evening. Not busy at all. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I had the Take a Stroll cocktail, which did not disappoint. We shared The Garden Market flatbread which was not only delicious but also so pretty with real and edible flowers. Having my own garden the atmosphere was very impressive from the indoor decor to the outside, the music was also a hit! The whole experience was great!! I heard that it was also a great spot for a Friday and/or Saturday night for the night life! read more

Their drinks are absolutely gorgeous. And delicious. But I have to say that the service at the host and the bar have been bad both times I went. On both occasions, I went long before the rush at 5:00pm and more than half the seats at the bar were empty the first time and almost all empty the 2nd time. Both times, waiting for a seat at Harumi sushi across the street, and explained to the host we are grabbing one quick drink before heading across the street for dinner. The host replies "do you have a reservation?" Okay... I get it... people make reservations to this place. But honestly the proper response should have been, "certainly! We do have reservations coming in at 6 but you're welcome to grab a quick drink until 5:30/6:00!" Or something like that. But instead "We have reservations coming in and we expect those seats to be taken by 6 so you would have to make a reservation" huh??? I had to explain one more time that we are grabbing a quick drink and won't be more than 15-20 minutes. Twice. Then finally host goes "oh, okay yeah... you can sit there! As long as you leave before 6." I'm just appalled at how rude the hosts are. And dumb, for that matter. ALSO! The bartender service could use a little pep in their friendliness training too, but I won't even go there.. HIRE NEW HOSTS WITH BRAINS or train them better first! Again... another downtown spot with magazine ratings that thinks they can treat people poorly just because their cocktails are award winning. Wrong. The feta spread and the omelette were extremely salty. The French Toast was dry and didn't come with syrup. This is a gorgeous new cocktail bar in phx! The space is set up great making it feel very roomy, as well as the decor is just immaculate! Every table has a rose, beautiful purples and a peacock (fake) hanging from the ceiling. The vibe in here makes the restaurant it is so beautiful and classy. The handcrafted cocktails are super delicious and the shots follow that right up! For the food the menu options are slim so don't go here for a dinner by any means. For what they do have the empanadas are so so yummy we got the beef ones and they were devoured in minutes!! A friend got a house salad and it was so fresh and perfect amount of dressing. We stopped here before a night on the town for a great cocktail and a bite and we got just that a gorgeous time! Definitely recommend! As far as parking finding it that can be a little hard. As always phx parking can be rough but if you come from the wrong direction it can be hard to see. Don't hesitate to call and ask them for help on directions that's what we did! read more

The actual server herself was very nice. The cocktails were good. But the atmosphere the hostess the bartender were completely rude. They acted like we were inconveniencing them to check on anything. There was absolutely no one in the restaurant, and they made us feel like we are inconveniencing them by being there. I will never come back.
