I wish I had more photos to post of the lovely arrangements that The Rose Shop did for my wedding. I worked with Laura to make up all the floral arrangements for the wedding and the reception held at the South Haven Yacht Club. I had picked out what I generally wanted on Pinterest and Laura was able to transpose the photos into the real thing from the bouquets to the table runners. It all worked out so lovely! They coordinated with the Golden Brown Bakery who made our cake and with the yacht club seamlessly so I had no worries the day of the wedding. I was calling from another state to get flowers delivered to a funeral. I believe I talked to Chris. She talked so much I never got a word in edgewise and then she kept telling me "OK ... you figure it out and call me back. I just wanted to do was order. I called them back several times and the line was busy. You telling me in this day and age they don't have a telephone with a couple lines on it!?! Anyway because of the rudeness in insincerity they lost my business. I went to another flower shop that was very kind took my order. By the way I spent over $100 so today the rose shop lost my business. read more

I own the carriage House at the Harbor Bed and Breakfast in South Haven. When our guests request flowers in their rooms we only call the Rose Shop. Laura, the owner, is creative, uses a variety of fresh flowers which always last at least 2 weeks and rarely if ever does she use colored carnations which I detest. I recently visited the rose shop for the first time. To make a long story short, I ordered a small order of flowers. At the end of the order I asked the lady if I pay now or upon pick up. She responded "you can pay at pick up if you'd like, these flowers would sell easily if you decided to change your mind". So in the mean time I found cheaper, prettier, and more flowers. I called the day before the order to cancel. She yelled at me and said "after all the trouble I went through!" I felt bad after she said this and felt obligated so I went on to say well I will go ahead........in the middle of my sentence she HUNG UP ON ME! I was going to tell her I'd buy half of them bc I initially felt bad. After she hung up on me I didn't feel bad at all and decided not to call back! She was trying to make me feel guilty about canceling after she said she wasn't worried about it. Horrible customer service, and even worse I believe she was the owner or a manager. It's really too bad it's the only flower shop in town! I will never go back!! read more

Beautiful! I ordered flowers to be delivered to my Mom while she was in a South Haven Rehab center. I asked the man helping me to select whatever flowers were freshest and most beautiful, keeping in mind that I'd like it to be cheerful and colorful. I gave him a few preferences (gerbera daisies, snapdragons, etc) and the amount I wanted to spend. My Mom loves it.! And I was very pleased when I saw a photo of it. Having been born and raised in South Haven, Michigan, I was very familiar with the fantastic work done by the folks at The Rose Shop. My husband and I retired to the mountains of N.C., and needed to have a floral delivery made in a hurry. The thought of using another florist never even crossed my mind. I knew The Rose Shop would make it right! I spoke with Laura, of The Rose Shop and had such a wonderful experience with my order. Not only did she take the time to help me choose just the right arrangement, she even told me about the weather in South Haven, and the number of tourists going in and out of the local shops. (I must have sounded a little homesick!.... :) ) Within 90 minutes of making my phone call, the most spectacular fresh flower arrangement arrived at our daughter's house. We needed those flowers there ASAP, and they live way out in the toolies,at the furthest edge of South Haven. Laura and The Rose Shop didn't let us down with our short notice request!
