In addition to books, there is a large selection of vinyl records, movie DVDs, toys, games, comic books, puzzles, stationary, and so much more. We really enjoy the children's section as we like to have books at our home for the grandchildren to enjoy when they visit. As the children get older, the game section will become an important area for us too! The staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable. I tried to participate in the book buy back program for store credit, but found the payout to be so slim that I decided donating my books was a better option for me.

This bookstore is located on a popular street of Jeffersonville (near the candy shop and…read morerestaurants). It is FULL of books - paperback, hard back and vintage. They've tried to split the shelves into categories but otherwise there's not much organization to the books. Give yourself some time to hang out. Pricing is on the front of each book. We happened to stop in during an amazing sale. They're working to clear out inventory. Volunteer-ran store and donations support a nonprofit.

The whole place has such a fun, spooky vibe. They have a section dedicated to Kentucky authors, which I thought was really cool. The owner has also written a couple of books herself and has a section dedicated to her work where you may even be able to pick up a signed copy. I went in without anything specific in mind and ended up taking the associate's recommendation--and I walked out with a new book! I love when someone can point you toward something you probably wouldn't have picked out yourself. Parking is on the street and was relatively easy to find, and there are a bunch of other little shops along the same area, so it would be easy to make an afternoon out of exploring. Definitely worth stopping in if you love horror, books, or both!
