They met me exactly where I was--physically and emotionally--and helped me build strength I thought I'd lost forever. Slowly, class by class, I began to feel muscles I hadn't felt in years waking up again. I started standing taller, moving with more confidence, and, dare I say it, feeling powerful. This isn't just a workout--it's a healing journey wrapped in sweat and trembling muscles. The Lagree method is no joke (your glutes will write you angry letters), but it's also deeply transformative. At first glance the studio seems to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Once class began, she demonstrated and explained each move clearly. We had a small group so she regularly checked on each person to make sure our form was correct. This course turned out to be more challenging than I expected. It was recommended by the instructor to take a few beginners courses until you're more familiar and comfortable with using the megareformer. We always use some of the props so it's fun because you aren't just doing the same thing for an hour. I definitely feel like my arms and legs get a workout too.
