The focus should be on transparency as well as patient's health and well-being - not GREED. They also violate boundaries. Dr. Ahdout gave me her word that Jamie would not contact me further. Yet, Jamie contacted me despite my numerous written and verbal requests to cease contact. I believe I may be able to file a police report for harassment. Additionally, I believe Jamie even went as far as providing DECEPTIVE MISINFORMATION about matters that can affect health in further attempts to not refund me. I believe this is highly unethical and concerning conduct especially for a dermatologist office. I am posting this review after multiple attempts to resolve this matter. I left a message and sent emails the first time and I did not receive a call from Dr. Ahdout. The same thing happened a second time. I posted a review the first time and Jamie called right away so I removed it. When I went in to show Dr. Ahdout the result of her work - I felt gaslit because she was questioning me as to why she would do a job like this. She again asked on the phone yesterday as what I think happened - a question she herself should answer. She then said there are no before and after photos. I reminded her AGAIN that I have before photos on my phone that her own assistant took. Dr. Ahdout then asked if I would agree to a credit. I declined. She then said that they have a "policy" that once a patient asks for a refund they can't return to the office. I informed her that I would not want to work with a business that has punitive policies. I believe both her conduct and Jamie's conduct revolved mainly around keeping my money. When I first brought up the refund, Jamie immediately became aggressive on the phone and used what felt like patronizing repetition. She kept repeating my name aggressively as soon as I mentioned a refund, which felt like an attempt to cut me off and silence me. Jamie even went as far suggesting that the tightness was "normal". She even pointed to her face claiming she felt the same. I knew the tightness was not normal. When I asked Dr. Ahdout, she confirmed that it was not normal. I do not appreciate being gaslighted or having my concerns normalized as though this is something I should simply tolerate. This involves health and providing misinformation to patients can have great liability. Jamie also asked if I would want to do a correction. I declined. I noted in my review and also in an email to Dr. Ahdout's as well as during her call yesterday that I do not want to interact with Jamie at all. Dr. Ahdout GAVE ME HER WORD that she will call me back herself. Dr. Ahdout did NOT keep her word. Instead Jamie called and went back and forth attempting to claim that it wasn't 2 items I purchased and it was 1.5. She said Dr. Ahdout said there was "a confusion" and it was 1.5 items. I informed her that's false. Besides Dr. Ahdout's own prior confirmations - the invoice is more than clear. I explained, again, that Dr. Ahdout confirmed with me TWICE, once in front of her own assistant in person and again on the phone yesterday, that it was 2 items. Jamie went back and forth for at least 10 minutes arguing. I kept asking her to ask Dr. Ahdout. She refused 3 times and continued to argue. I kept mentioning what I paid for. She finally checked my invoice although she had ALREADY SEEN my invoice as she is the one who charged me AND even emailed it to me. She FINALLY agreed it was 2 items. I believe these practices are EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE and GREEDY. Then Jamie said their "corporate" is going to send me an email to sign "a form". I told her I'm not signing a release form as I need to see another doctor. Patients should not be forced to sign a release form to receive a refund. Jamie said their corporate "requires" this and that they will contact me. AGAIN, she displayed a pattern of violating boundaries and as soon as I would say their corporate did not have my consent to contact me - she would BLATANTLY REPEAT they will contact me. I informed her that at this point I have to do a full chargeback on the 2 items. I contacted my bank and did a full chargeback on the agreed upon amount. If they create ANY extra emotional distress and dispute the chargeback - I will immediately involve my counsel without further notice and use ALL legal remedies to not only obtain my money in full, but to also hold them fully liable for all damages including corrections needed and the emotional distress caused related to this matter and their conduct. I will also expand my online review to other platforms as I see fit.

Dr.B is the best dermatologist in town. Period. That is it. That is all. I actually started seeing him for my problematic medical dermatology issues- acne, eczema, years ago in the before times ! It is very hard to find a great Dermatologist in LA that will treat you for true medical Derm issues that are chronic or autoimmune. Most Derms only want to do the fancy cosmetic stuff. And Dr B does that too! Don't get me wrong! He'll make Your skin look like a million bucks with all the lasers and gadgets and all the things ! He can and will do that if that's what you want. But if you're like me, you can't even deal with making your skin look rejuvenated if you have chronic medical skin issues that are not sexy and have to be handled first. Inflammation and irritation. He has helped me manage those conditions so that I could have clear skin first and foremost. He will check your skin and make sure you have don't have any skin cancer issues which is super important even if you're brown/have ethnic skin like me!! Dr B has so much experience treating melaninated people like me which is soooooo important because we scar and hyperpigment so much more. And if any nasty skin cancer does rear its head, he will catch it early. With his most expert hand, if something needs to be removed, no one would ever know you were dealing with a serious issue because he uses his magic techniques to remove the baddies and leave almost no trace or scar. He always approaches skin issues with this approach to solve your problem but also cause as little injury as possible in the process. Let's not remove one problem and create a bigger one in its place! I love Dr.B so much because he's really knows his stuff, he's kind and compassionate and he really thinks things through and listens to me. I always have faith that he has given me the best course of action. He's also the most super chill and cool dude! I always enjoy seeing him even though i have to show him my not so cute looks!

Long ago, I wanted to remove a mole on my face that I'd always run into while shaving. I found Dr. Fincher and, in my appointment, he said the mole did not need to be removed. I had to convince him I wanted it done (and how it would help), and in the subsequent visit, he removed it. It being where one shaves, it didn't hurt but, typically, bled like crazy. Instead of a stitch or a tight adhesive, I got a band-aid, which only became a problem on the way home when I had a mustache of blood on my face. In time all healed and looked great; I thought I was done with it until a week later when I received a call from their office with a quote that is burned into my brain. "Hi Brian. This is Dr. Fincher's office. You have cancer. It's ok." After nearly collapsing, I finally got a hold of Dr. Fincher who explained the mole I wanted removed and he said was "fine" was a basil cell carcinoma, and he needed to operate again. Different experience for the 2nd operation: he used twice as much anesthesia in the area, which swelled up half my face and took nearly a week to return to normal. Thankfully no cancer on the 2nd scan, but what happened cosmetically? A scar 3x the size of the original mole I wanted to remove! His solution? "Just put some lotion on it." This scar has never gone away. Like the mole I wanted removed, I run into that while shaving. Other dermatologists I've used since then over the years act surprised that I received such poor treatment from his office. Maybe you could say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but is that the thinking you should use after visiting a doctor?!

What I experienced was quite the opposite. About 3 years ago I completed the SHI scar system where they inject you with Sculptra, do TCA cross, and then finish off with a highly aggressive subsicion procedure that is done with the Hazany Liberator. After the procedures, I have been left with severely lax skin and droopy skin on one side of my face. Additionally, I also was left with a deep linear indent on the same side. It also feels stiff in that area of my face and I continuously get intermittent swelling from time to time. Recently, new studies have come to light to explain these changes, and its because the subsicion tool that Hazany uses cuts to much and far too deep into your face causing all the strong rooted attachments in your face to be permanently cut. I get so incredibly angry with Salar Hazany because I was never told about these potential consequences. Despite asking to be seen at the time for these complications, their office refused. I couldn't believe what had happened to me. As the years have gone on, I have found out that Salar Hazany was bullying patients on forums like Reddit and convincing people to go to his office by acting like a fake patient. Ultimately, he got banned from Reddit, and it's a post that you can still find on there. I also found out that these complications have been brought up to Hazany before by other patients, and despite having seen them, his office declines their existence. Lastly, I was treated so poorly at this office and at times did not feel safe. I deeply regret not bringing my mother or father at the time, since I was relatively young. Dr. Hazany's temperament is highly unprofessional to say the least. Through all these procedures I developed the following complications- permanent stiffness in the right side of my face, droopy skin, permanent hyperpigmentation, thicker scarring (because Sarah his PA and sister erroneously injected a full layer of sculptra with the wrong technique), and so so much emotional turmoil. They will not tell you this, but at least by doing your research you can become aware of it through reviews like this. This was not a good place with good people, and I deeply regret turning to them for help.
