The actual theatre part had that fuzzy white mold on back of all the chairs. Im sure it's all in the fabric too. It was pretty musty in there. The ceiling was leaking too. And it was warm. The chairs were just your basic chairs. They lean back just enough for the person behind you to kick it through the movie. I prefer the reclining chairs. Just my preference. Concessions served microwaved frozen hotdogs. And they come in a melted clear tray they were melted in with a giant 3oz cup or mustard. lol very generous The staff was very nice and friendly. The movie was fine. The sound was good too. I think the worst part is it smelled moldy. Doesn't seem to be maintained well. Everything's dated. Just an honest opinion. I did like the fact they had 5 movie and several times for movies. Matinees too.

So we went to theater twelve and saw that a movie was still going on. We waited about an entire HOUR waiting for that movie to end and ours to start. My sister decided to check our ticket and it said 1:15, instead of 2:15 and turns out the movie that we where supposed to see was in theater 10,instead of 12 and the movie was already started!! The facility is poorly maintained--soda machines and bathrooms are frequently out of order, and the screens have visible lines or damage that ruin the viewing experience. They also charge a 5% fee for credit card purchases, which is frustrating and frankly just the cost of doing business in 2025. One of the most frustrating experiences was when I went to see Wicked on opening day. They sold me a ticket after warning me there "might" be seats left--but there were none. I had already purchased popcorn, and when I went to request a refund for both, they gave me a hard time about the popcorn--even though I had only been there for five minutes and hadn't touched it. I've supported this theater out of convenience, but I'm done. I'd rather make the drive to Fort Wayne than spend another dollar here.

Fortunately the building was purchased by the Wabash Community Foundation and it's being cleaned and restored. This is a beloved landmark to downtown Wabash. There was no one there, surprisingly, and for some reason they didn't allow backpacks inside. It had nothing to do with outside food, they just refuse to even hold on to the bag in some storage or locker or something. Which makes no sense because they are right near a campus, pretty sure that's their whole potential clientele. But that explains why there was no one there, which explains why they can't clean or renovate the premise, no one goes there anymore. Shocker. Just hope another movie theatre opens shop nearby because I genuinely love cinema but this place apparently doesn't.

One ongoing event that's definitely worth checking out is the Tuesday Dinner & Movie night. For $15, you get a candlelit dinner (catered by Scanoli's Cajun and BBQ Restaurant, across the street) and a classic movie. These days, the movie alone would cost you $10! And that means that the $5-dinner, already very good on the palate, was also quite gentle on the wallet. They also show Monday night football on the big screen. Moreover, for most of these events, the bar is open, which means you can enjoy a drink while you watch the movie. Tell me, where else in the US can you do that! I'm sure such places exist, but they're few and far between. For what it's worth, you can also rent out the space for events such as receptions and weddings. I haven't yet been there for something like that. But if it's handled anywhere near as well as the movie night, I'm already a fan.
