Great Food, Unwelcoming Bartender My wife and I chose Roxy's Supper Club for her birthday dinner, excited for a special evening. The ambiance of the place was decent, and the food did not disappoint. We especially enjoyed the clam chowder and lake perch, stuffed tenderloin and italian chicken dumpling, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. However, our experience started on a sour note right from the bar. The bartender, a woman, was far from hospitable. She threw napkins at us with a terse "what do you want?" that felt more like a confrontation than a greeting. This first impression was not only unwelcome but also surprising for a venue of this caliber. Once seated, the dining experience improved considerably, thanks to the excellent meal and the more pleasant interactions with other staff members, who seemed quite professional but noticeably uneasy around the bartender. Overall, Roxy's offers fantastic food and could be a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions. However, the initial service at the bar was a letdown and made for an interesting, albeit uncomfortable, first impression on what was supposed to be a festive evening. Management might consider addressing this to enhance the overall guest experience. read more

Coming from being employed as a server for 5 years at a different restaurant, I can say that the service here was fantastic, if not the best I've had in recent memory. Came into town for UW-Oshkosh's graduation and we had the pleasure of having Beth as our server. Everything she should have done, she did and then some. She even thought to put a small plate over my bowl of soup while I was in the restroom to keep it warm. The food was also amazing and mouth-watering. I went here with a couple of my family members recently because it is my Grandma's favorite restaurant. I'm not suprised because there weren't too many young routy faces in the crowd. This supper club is exactly what you would expect from a restaurant with the word "Supper" in the name. There is an old fasioned feel to the place giving a splach of class. They do supper clubs right! I never knew the magic of supper club until I moved to Wisconsin, let me tell you a night with the family at the Roxy is one of my favorite things! The food is always awesome and the prices are pretty reasonable too. Friday fish fry, Sunday night prime rib, or stop in for a snack and a cocktail, it's the best! read more

Delicious, low-cost restaurant which is always consistent. Great Sunday brunches, too. Their Brandy Old Fashioned are prepared the Wisconsin way ... perfect every time. And THE BEST and most generous wine pourings I've ever seen at any restaurant, anywhere! read more
