Clean the espresso machine. My cappuccino tasted slightly burnt, which gives it that cardboard flavor, and serving a hot espresso drink in a paper cup does not help either. Hot milk and cardboard do not work well together. This is something that could easily be fixed and would make a real difference. Outside seating is very nice, covered and very clean. The interior is very inviting with all their aesthetics. My most recent visit was July 23, 2026, and I ordered their Caramel Devotion, and it was such a great treat. The amount of sweetness was perfect.I have also ordered Hola Jefe, which definitely has my heart since that was the first drink I had on my first visit, and it blew me away with its flavors. Other drinks I've had are Kenyan Dirty Chai and the Million dollar white mocha. I have also had their soft and decadent cinnamon roll. It's not tiny at all, which is great because who wants a tiny dessert that you can finish in one bite? Hehe he, if you like or love cinnamon rolls you need to try theirs. The pastries are fine for a quick stop and appear similar to bulk items from stores like Costco. In the past, they sold a bottled cold brew that was great. They also feature a catering menu with Kenyan items such as Mandazi and samosas. Husband and wife Tweety and Patrice Angwenyi co-own the business. Apparently, they started the company in 2019 by roasting coffee in their one-bedroom apartment. Both owners formerly worked as high school educators before transitioning. Patrice grew up in Fort Worth's Historic Southside. Tweety was raised on a family-operated coffee farm in Kenya. Having lived in Kenya, I recognize him likely originating from an Ekegusii family in Kisii County. The real appeal of the business is the community the owners have built. While I am not part of the culture, their mission is faith-based, Black-owned. The owners define the word "hustle" as an acronym for "Help Us See The Light Everywhere". Beyond serving coffee, they host Saturday co-ed Bible studies, collaborate with neighborhood organizations, and mentor at-risk teenagers.

It is not a harsh espresso, heavy brew. It is more full bodied and smooth. It was presented well and it had wonderful coffee flavor. My wife had an iced coffee with Boba, which she enjoyed very much. She was able to customize the drink and the staff was very willing to create whatever she wanted. They didn't make a cookie cutter sort of Boba drink but rather created something special. Now to the baklava. There are a number of baklava options. Different styles and different flavors. If you love that style of pastry, then this is a place you must visit. We tried a classic piece of baklava as well as a almond variation that they create. Both were very good. A nice balance of the fluffy Filo and honey and other ingredients. It paired with our drinks perfectly. Jojo's is a place that I would recommend if you're looking for a very solid coffee based drink and some sweets to go along with it. It is sweet and I need two espresso shots in my drink. If you enjoy Terry's orange chocolate then you would like this. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. They do have other syrups you can choose from. I did see breakfast tacos, they're the same ones I see at Summer Moon. I do wish they had speciality drinks ready for you to pick from.
