We stopped here while shopping on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty chill and maybe a dozen or so people around. This shop has been open 6-8 years and appears to be well known in the area. We ordered a large Mexican latte and a regular Cinnamon Dulce with a cranberry muffin and brown sugar scone. The total was $19.25 before tax and tip. Atmosphere 3 - The first impression when you walk in is great. Kind of a Starbucky-type shop. I thought the accent wall with their logo was very cool. The counter area and displays look great and I love the stained concrete floors. Lots of space between tables, so you don't feel crowded. The far right wall is out of place. For some reason there is a strip of wall paper, that looks like bricks, all the way down the wall. I am not sure what the story is with that, but check it out and see if you don't agree. Odd. The jewel art is kinda cool but gets swallowed up on the giant wall and the one above our table was held up with thumb tacks. Service 5 - We both agree the barista was fantastic. So friendly and answered all of our questions. She smiled for every customer and we were very impressed with her. Cleanliness 3 - Average and no big mess anywhere. It looks like this place gets a good cleaning everyday. Parking 5 - plenty of parking out front. Taste 5 - everything tasted great! I mean everything, and there is really nothing to criticize. We wanted to get more drinks, for real. I want to taste everything! Pastries 5 - By far, this place has the largest variety of pastries we have seen in the area. The most impressive is that all of their pastries are fresh baked on sight. Both of the pastries we had were delicious. Variety 5 - This is the standard for variety for us from now on. This shop does not try to funnel you into one size to maximize their profits. There are so many options that it may take you a minute to decide what you want. We love that! I had driven by babylon a number of times, and suggested to friends that we needed to come try it ... but hadn't been able to settle down a time to go check it out. I was planning on getting together with a friend that I hadn't seen in a long time and she brought up Babylon, so we finally went! I got the flamed orange, I had intended to order it iced but forgot to ask for it iced ... it was absolutely delisious hot! I for sure want to come back to try it iced. I didn't get any pastries, but my friend did and she enjoyed the one that she got. Staff did a great job getting drinks and snacks out in a reasonable time frame. I ordered a Mexican latte and it was really good--rich, smooth, and full of flavor. My girlfriend got the tiramisu latte and she loved hers just as much. We also picked up blueberry and raspberry muffins, and they were warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I'm from the coffee capital of the world, Seattle, Washington and here in North Richland Hills Texas. I had to find me a coffee house. I found one that I absolutely recommend. Babylon Coffee Roasters is a privately owned by Hiba (Hee ba) She is the most personable person and is very proud of her coffees. This is a woman that took a leap of faith by opening business right when COVID hit the US starting March of 2020. I had the opportunity to meet all the employees. Every single one of them always greats with a smile. Her biggest supporter is her husband, Rani (Ronnie), Sandra(Daughter), Savio (son) Stella (daughter...not old enough yet), Meorah (May or a) employee and McKenzie employee. One of the requirement to work here is a big smile friendly and know how to be a barista. I meet all qualifications except being a barista. Visited this location today, the barista was welcoming and ordering was a breeze. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with cinnamon powder and a raspberry crown pastry (similar to a danish style pastry). My order was made quickly. The latter was okay, I did not taste much other than the milk and vanilla. Unfortunately the espresso flavor was very mild despite the drink color being typical of a latte. The pastry was absolutely delicious. Vibes were relaxed and casual with nice decor and moderate noise. It was a good place to study for me. The atmosphere was laid back and very peaceful. It wasn't loud and everyone seemed to having a good time. The music that was playing was Christian music and I cannot say how much I cherished that alone! There were people of all ages and different ethnicities here when I went. My husband and I decided to stop in at Babylon since we sometimes pass it and never tried it. When we walked in the atmosphere was so warm and cozy. They have music playing (not too low and not too loud which I like) We played it safe and my husband got a plain black coffee and I got a Mexican iced latte which was absolutely delicious! We didn't order any food, but it looked so good and multiple people ordered pastries or breakfast sandwiches while we were there. The girl who took our order was so nice and after telling her we had never been there, she was very accommodating at explaining all the different options! So glad to find this shop in the area. We could really use it close to the Tex Rail station on Smithfield. (Hint) Enjoyed the many choices of pastries offered. HOWEVER. Cozy little coffee shop in the middle of a small strip! I walked in and saw many customers, which made seating options super limited. I was greeted and given time to browse their menu items displayed on chalk boards. I went with the butterscotch latte, but it didn't really give me butterscotch vibes. It was tasty, just different. The ice cubes they used lasted for hoursssss which is such a perk when having an iced drink. I also appreciated that getting a non dairy milk didn't make the latte over $5! I should spend more time here, it really is a cozy coffee shop, lots of warm colors and handwritten chalkboard menus. The cinnamon vanilla cappuccino is fantastic as well as their iced latte version. There are quite a few tables and chairs available here, plus a comfy couch or 3. I love a coffeehouse that feels casual and homey as opposed to corporate. Found this gem while on the hunt for a decent coffee spot. Happy to say they left a fantastic impression for me. When I first entered, the menu seemed a little overwhelming; there are tons of options and the fonts were very decorative. But the barista quickly helped me and made a great recommendation: Coco-Bana. It's a mix of coconut, chocolate & espresso. The flavor was incredible, I was able to distinguish all three aspects. I also ordered a vegan banana bread muffin, which they toasted for me. Together it made a neat, little breakfast. I hope I can return soon to try the other drinks. Also, note there are plenty of seating and couches so you can meet or study there. Definitely recommend! read more

Not my usual coffeeshop - but since it was close by and not crowded I gave Babylon another shot. It always seems like the barista counter is decorated cute and cozy but for some weird reason the feng shui is always mysteriously lacking in regard to the tables and I never feel very comfortable there. If only the drinks could make up for the uninviting feeling; but sadly they don't. I ordered a hot green matcha tea with coconut. It was 6.55 & I tipped a dollar. I regretted it as soon as I took the first sicky-sweet sip and realized there was no milk at all in the drink. It was a dark green color with a fake coconut syrup mixed in. Then a large group of 4 people walked in and the barista looked like a deer in the headlights as he was the only one working at the time. It was a Sunday afternoon. I took a couple more sips of this "catfish" of a coconut matcha latte and left it in my car while I went to my appointment. Later at home I tried to doctor it up with some OAT MILK - but it still tasted awful. I hope my plants enjoyed it 'cuz I poured it out in the flower garden! read more

Great coffee, cool atmosphere, great location for TCC and mid cities make Babylon Coffee an excellent choice for scratching your coffee itch! During Pandemic pent-upness, we've been looking for ways to get out nad have covid-safe experiences. So, we embarked on a Fort Worth coffee tour to check out the dozen or so newer coffee shops within 30 minutes drive. Babylon is located not far off 820, blocks from TCC, NRH20, and the Precinct Line & Highway 26 intersection. The shop itself is not large, but has enough space to provide social distancing. I enjoyed the seating along the window. Succulents are on every table. I was drawn in by the Turkish Coffee, a powerful, dense, cup of coffee made by one of the two sisters working behind the counter. It came out in a very traditional looking decanter with a tiny cup. I actually googled how to drink it (sip, swirl with water between sips, and don't drink the sediment). Not for the faint hearted for certain. She tried the Lavender Latte and loved it. My only nit was that while we were there, up to seven people were behind the counter without masks on. They had them on most of the time while serving customers, but not always. All were very pleasant and helpful. With the variants going around, it seemed like the face to face at the counter was likely not the best idea. Overall, strong ratings for Babylon Coffee! read more

We've been in a couple times and just not in love with the shop. The space is pretty large and quiet, great for studying or meeting with a friend. Decor is pretty minimal and nothing really outstanding. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Sadly the drinks just aren't that quality compared to most craft shops. I think it's probably the syrups, not sure. I'm just a bit of a coffee snob! They do have a large menu with a ton of options and great prices. My maple pecan latte just didn't have any distinct flavors and my husbands pour over was underwhelming and over-extracted. read more
