We've been going there as a family for 6+ years now? Maybe longer. Their juices are tremendous they're expensive but they're worth it. Rejuv juice is a tucked away gem in the Hurst. There's a great Groupon deal on their juice cleanse and cold pressed juice. The exterior of Rejuv is colorful and aesthetically pleasing. I love the wall of flowers and the bright decor. The interior of Rejuv is small and cozy. Dylan and Josh were friendly and helpful in suggestions for cold pressed juices. I ended up getting the watermelon special that was recommended by them. The watermelon special has a nice tang due to the pineapple in it and has a refreshing taste. I've been coming here since before they hung up their sign! Since 2016 or so. They only juice twice a week now, so it's not as immediately fresh as it was (you can always trust employees to give you the truth!) I'd never run into the owner before today. Or, I'm guessing she's the owner-- she was older and not wearing a uniform (plus the employees have always referred to a female being the boss). She was talking loudly to a customer. They didn't step aside for me, greet me, or any way acknowledge my presence. I had to say "excuse me" twice just to get to the fridge. Okay, fine, maybe she's just really into her sales pitch. I even interjected and added "Ambien" to her conversation when she couldn't remember the sleep aid she was thinking of, so it's not like I slunked in unnoticed. I helped myself to about $20 worth of juice and waited on them to ring me up. A couple walks in and the owner stops her schpeel, says sweetly, "Hi! Menu is right over here" and continues on. The workers still had trouble working the equipment so I took everything as a sign, cancelled my order and left without buying anything. I don't want to take it personally, but couldn't help thinking maybe because the other customers were White and I'm not, she wouldn't even look at me. I definitely felt uncomfortable and I don't want to return. I went to Neighborhood Walmart on the way home and they had the same organic turmeric shot I wanted for $1.98 (at Rejuv they're $5.50). I also bought the ingredients for the juice I wanted. I was paying extra at Rejuv for the service, but since I already had a juicer at home, might as well make some myself for a fraction of the price. If you want everyone's business, treat all customers equally (especially regulars) so we are not empowered to take our business elsewhere--especially for nonproprietary products that are easily made at home. UPDATE: Review your security footage. Cute Trump-ism to say "fake news" and say this is fabricated. For you to suggest that really means your customer service is garbage. The woman was a redhead wearing a crapton of make up and was talking loudly to an older gentleman. Completely ignored me. Behind the counter was a young man and a young female. The couple that walked in included a pregnant female. The guy in the picture responding wasn't there, so how can you deny it? That's "fake news." What do I have to gain by lying? I have too much to lose. Before going to law school, I worked as a nurse. I even have my Master's in Nursing. I'm not exactly a POS who gets my rocks off by destroying small businesses. I was also messaged by them saying this was "slander." First, I went to law school. That's not the definition of slander. If Loud Talker had looked at me, she would have noticed the law school shirt. Second, that is what actually happened, so it's not made up. I'm glad your unprofessional reaction solidified my discomfort. I knew something was off. I will never return. 2nd UPDATE: Dude, no need to message me again because I'm not reading it--especially anything short of an apology. You want to argue? I do it professionally. My going rate is $400/hr. 3rd UPDATE: More than two weeks later (3/27/2020), they're Googling me and Rejuv tried to follow me on Ig. They are WEIRD! WHY!? I really enjoy their juice, especially the green one. It's always been fresh tasting, makes me feel great. However, I noticed that the label on the plastic juice bottles say you are purchasing 16oz of juice when the bottles are actually 14oz. The bottom of the bottle says 14, plus I verified it at home with measurements. If the juice cleanses all come in 14oz bottles then you're only getting 7oz every 2 hours. I'm sure it's just an oversight, but I thought the managers would like to know so that they can correct the error and make any changes needed to the labels and price. How did I not know that Rejuv was tucked into the neighborhood all these years? Probably because I was always driving through here with tunnel vision to find the quickest, least traffic riddled route to the mall. Also, probably because I was not about that healthy life. But then about a year or two ago I decided to really change my eating habits and looked into juicing. Rejuv came up on my searches and I was very intrigued. A friend tried them out for a juice cleanse prior to her wedding and had rave reviews. I was still reluctant to try. Maybe it was the Bridezilla thing. I don't know. But then I finally decided to try Rejuv for myself. Oh. My. Elderberry. This place is so good. Their juices are so rich and full of cold pressed flavor. Their shots are great for when you want to knock out a nasty little cough or runny nose. And their açaí bowls are life giving after a long day at work. I just love this place. The employees are extremely kind and very patient. They are also accommodating because when I took my dad, I discovered that he's allergic to bananas. They had to remake his açaí bowl and blend it with mango as opposed to banana the second time around. He loved the açaí bowl and was happy that they could accommodate his food allergy. My dad who isn't even into juicing or anything remotely hippy-esque actually liked Rejuv and talks about getting juices when he's feeling sick. Good job Rejuv! The only thing I don't like about Rejuv is that it's not closer to my home, so I can't visit as often as I would like. Other than that, I absolutely love this place. I come here pretty much every week on Friday since it's close to where I work, the employees here are all super friendly and always greet me with a smile and make me feel welcome. The addition of the CBD products is great, although a bit overpriced for what it is; but I get it, the market is very small here in Texas so they can charge more for it but still I wish their cbd products weren't so ridiculously expensive and made it more affordable to the general public. I've tried their CBD oil (worth it) and the CBD joints (not worth it). As far as the juices go, again, since they're the only organic juice place in the area their prices are a bit steep than compared to say a Juiceland or any other Dallas area juice place but hey, you gotta it for good health and good quality food so take my money.
