shuffleboarding is such a fun, unique activity and this spot in brooklyn never disappointed. it's a large space and i was able to walk in with a party of five to reserve one lane for an hour for $60, honestly a really fun activity. my only point would be that i wish i had reserved it for a longer amount of time because the hour goes by quick. overall great service; in the beginning a staff member explained how to play the game. there's also a really fun ring game on the side of the store and it's free!

A full on spacious place for a party or in our case an afterparty, we had some board games aside from the shuffleboard and always a good selection of beers ! They are open late, so definitely recommended for a big group!

This is a fun spot to take an out-of-towner on a Saturday night--they have a DJ spinning some dancey tracks, lots of spots to lounge while you're not playing and watch the games. The person who gave us our demo was very helpful and had good energy, some of the other staff were a little curt. We loved playing the game, super fun but definitely better for a bigger group since the price for a court is $60 flat and you can split it more ways. The cocktails were yummy, I got the Mango Pigeon and it was strong, fruity, smoky, and a little spicy. The photo booth was super cute too! It was kind of crazy that a court for an hour and two drinks put us over $100 with tip, but it was totally a worthwhile experience. I wish the pricing were more along the lines of what you'd pay for a bowling lane or if there were one day where you could get a discount. I think they'd be able to draw a younger twentysomething crowd if it were a bit more affordable. Super unique spot though.

I had so much fun at Royal Palms. The mocktails were incredible, the vibes were so relaxed, uplifting, and tropical. This place has such a cute vibe. I highly recommend for a birthday party or just a casual social gathering.

Amazing unique experience surrounded by modernized old warehouse architecture with a completely modern flare. The service staff was Bar none the best around with high energy adding to the ambiance. Lots of space for parties or a great date spot. Will definitely find my way back here more regularly. Check it out if you are looking for some fun and drinks!

Not familiar with shuffle board game rules but still enjoy the sport. Went here with an associate and enjoyed the music, staff, and ambience. The DJ was playing major hits within the last 35 years. He knew how to flow and real bangers to dance to. The crowd was diverse in age. I always associated shuffle board with mature crowd but people from different backgrounds were enjoying the game. Fun atmosphere with a small tournament happening in one arena. Mom's momo food truck was the food for the night. Affordable and had dumplings, noodles, rolls, and sodas. I got the momo combo with chicken dumplings and shrimp summer roll. He makes every other fresh and pretty fast. He must have a set up but it's a small menu. Affordable and tasty. Don't forget to ask for soy sauce if you don't like the white and hot sauce . Also gave me sweet chili sauce that made the flavors pop. The dumplings were firm and moist and the summer rolls were fresh and light. Perfect combinations. The drink I ordered was the virgin painkiller, basically pina colada. Sweet and frothy and reasonably priced. I'm glad they have non alcoholic options. All and all this place is an experience, especially during the winter season. Make this a friends/dates night out.

The game of shuffleboard is no longer moderately relegated to retirement communities and cruise ships. It has officially become cool. What a great idea, honestly. On top of a very fun and easy to enjoy game, you can get great drinks from a full bar, "table" service, and pick from plenty of food options if you're hungry. You book by the hour, take a quick lesson, and then you are left to it. You keep your own score and can fit in quite a few games depending on how fast you play. There are few things more satisfying than a strategic last shot bump of your opponent into the -10 zone, and in our true competitive nature, we were all aiming for that. Just do yourself a favor and get here early, or at least be prepared to wait. We arrived on a Sunday about 10 minutes after opening and there were only 2 lanes left, quickly taken not long after we started.

I play at the Royal Palms often (it's always a great time), but they recently started making their food in-house. I didn't know what to expect at first, but the food is really good. So far, I've tried the steak tacos and the cheeseburgers both are yummy but I will definitely be getting the cheeseburger again. The servers are polite and answer any questions, and the food choices perfectly match the shuffleboard club's vibe. I would recommend someone try the food if they're ever playing shuffleboard here!

Last night was a blast--we went to Royal Palms for a friend's birthday and played shuffleboard, which is always our go-to for group celebrations. The highlight? A massive Hawaiian-themed party with about 100 people, yet the space still didn't feel crowded--this place is huge! Honestly, next time we're there, we're throwing our own themed party too. While we were there, I spotted flyers for an upcoming Sip + Shuffle Happy Hour on January 23, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, specifically for Women, Trans, and Non-Binary folks. It's not on their website or socials yet, so here's your insider scoop! As for pricing, $60 gets you and your group an hour of shuffleboard on one court (taxes, drinks, and gratuity not included). Walk-ins are welcome, but you'll likely have to wait for a buzzer, so reservations are highly recommended, especially for larger groups. Besides shuffleboard, they have plenty of other games, including my personal favorites--giant Connect Four and Jenga. We didn't get to try them this time since the Hawaiian party guests were dominating the game stations, but hey, there's always next time! (Attached a photo of the list of games)

A friend recommended checking this place out, and I am now a huge fan of shuffle board! This was my first time here and my first time playing shuffle board. There was about a 45 min wait when we got there around 10pm on a Saturday. While we waited, we played some of their board games that they have and ordered drinks at the bar. The Pina Colada that I got was pretty strong and we were able to take it to the shuffle board area. When we got started, an employee taught us how to play, and then we got started playing. I highly recommend for big groups or if you are going on a double date or something! I definitely want to come back again.

Came here last week with a girlfriend for the first time and we had a blast! Shuffleboard is hard y'all. While a bit pricey at $50 for an hour it was still so much fun. After we finished playing we picked some games to play which were free. That was super cool! They have a ton of options.

We came to this spot on a Sunday afternoon & it wasn't busy at all (almost too quiet). They have a good assortment of games - be it shuffleboard, connect 4, or ring toss. It's decently big too, so lots of room to roam and play. The drinks are more on the tiki side, but very good & strong af. We didn't get a chance to try the food, but they have a food truck inside and everything smelled really good. Seems like the perfect spot to camp out with a group of friends!

Cool spot to hang out with friends! Didn't try the food but there is a kebab cart. The service is nice. There's games such as connect 4 and jenga. Make sure to come an hour and a half early to reserve the shuffle board though.

My friend and I each order a cocktail, and are catching up. I'm from Brooklyn, however I no longer live here, and this was precious catch-up time with my friend. Then I get interrupted mid-sentence by the old-timer DJ from his low seat in a corner behind the bar. I had bumped the bar with my wrist (bumped my wrist watch as well, not deliberately) and then placed my hand down (granted- more than placed but definitely not slammed), and he decided to warn me that I COULD HAVE made his record skip. It was the Eagles or Santana (far from eclectic, but that's just me). I'm also 99% certain he turned the volume up afterwards, making it even harder to enjoy the company. After that interaction, I struggled to pick it back up with my friend, because I found that distraction very effing rude. When this "4th wall" gets broken down with service, it is hard to then enjoy the space in an uninhibited state. I am all for the Tokyo Vinyl Bar vibe, and I'm also for also giving talent an outlet to share their collection, but this interaction colored my experience, and I closed out after one drink and went elsewhere. I mentioned this to the bartender, and he was kind to offer a buy-back of a rare whiskey, which I did accept. 5 stars for the bartender, but 1 for my experience. I don't like to be harsh or unnecessarily cruel, but this is what it is. I have visited in the past and enjoyed myself. Nonetheless, I certainly won't be coming back.

I've made it a point to visit every vinyl listening bar that I learn of in town, after enjoying the shared experience of someone curating a select vinyl list in intimate spaces in Tokyo. Few have been able to replicate the experience, but Honeycomb Hi Fi Lounge comes close. That the space is narrow with just a few seats along the bar and a few tables mimics the Japanese experience best, where you can almost have it so the whole room is having one conversation together. The music is the focus. The cocktail menu is rather simple, and my Stormbringer drink, with dark rum and ginger beer was not anything to write home about, but $15 is pretty low for cocktails these days so I'll take it. If they introduced new cocktails to the menu with more interesting ingredients I'd be more inclined to return, but the vibes overall are pretty good and the staff really nice.

They serve oysters, which adds to that aphrodisiac experience of the oh so 'wow this is a former brothel!'. The bartenders and servers were fast and very sociable with the more sociable customers. The immediate entrance is very tight, and it was uncomfortable navigating the space. We expected there'd be more seating in the back, which there was, but it was limited and not offered to us until we asked for it. We honestly had no clue where it would be and only asked because of how this place was advertised. While it was comfy once we made our way back there, it was reminiscent of a lounge style bar space that almost any bar could replicate with the right room and budget. We didn't feel as though this hit the spot and were let down by this experience. I'm not sure if I can judge the menu of drinks/ foods as expensive, but we left hungry bc we couldn't justify some of the prices. In addition, I've seen a lot of complaints about the volume of the music: it's definitely loud at the front but a lot lower in that back lounge space. It's as loud as any bar's music level would be, but truth be told we were expecting music that matched the vibe of what was advertised and yes, at a lower volume.
