First time attending a wedding here. When you first walk in, it's very pretty. Big staircase and pizza. Very classic look. Cocktail hour was a little tight getting past everyone because the bar was right in the middle. The ballroom had a nice big dance floor depending on how many people you have. Visit Date: August 2, 2015 Hubby and I attended the wedding of my friend and her groom to be. The atmosphere was almost impeccably beautiful. I say almost because one on side of the mansion we discovered an abandoned country club. So if you decide to explore just a little bit on your visit here you will see some unkempt among the beauty. From what I've gathered it's possible this mansion is a one party venue, but I didn't go upstairs so I can't verify that there were extra rooms available upstairs for a party. The entrance hall was a little tight once people started arriving, but the staff took care of that by ushering the crowd into a pre-ceremony space with some seating and access to outside. They served drinks and the waiters roamed around with pre-ceremony appetizers. This place will keep feeding you if you attend an event here. The ceremony took place outside which I loved because I love being outside as much as I possibly can in the summer. It was a little hot and I was sweating but I was happy for the detoxification that sweating brings. I did feel bad for the men in suits including my husband. They set up the ceremony beautifully. The cocktail hour was in the same area as the pre-ceremony drinks were. Once the ceremony was over the staff had trays of iced water and some alcohol available as a refresher from viewing the ceremony outside. The cocktail hour was huge. I didn't even get to visit all the stations available with appetizer and mini meal set ups. After the cocktail hour was finished we were ushered into the main reception area where the first course was set up. The butter was beautiful, served in the shape of roses. The first course was a salad with rustic Italian rolls. The vegetables were fresh, the rolls were crusty, crunchy and soft at the same time. The second course was pasta, rigatoni in a semi-creamy tomato sauce. It wasn't flavorful but still it was good. The third and main course was the one I favored the most. I had the vegetable lasagna. It was chock full of veggies and pretty flavorful with the spices that they used. The coffee was great too, not weak at all and very tasty. The dessert was incredible, they had a viennese hour which was chock full of every dessert you could think of. Chocolate cordial shots were served, cappuccinos were freshly made, assorted ice cream was scooped out with various sundae toppings, cookies all over the place as well as some cake, and a chocolate fountain. Everything I had from the viennese hour was pretty good, my favorite was the mini linzer tart. Overall they do a nice job for a wedding and I'm pretty sure any party you might have here. I have a feeling it's expensive but I don't know the prices. My husband and I got married here last Sunday on October 19, 2014. It is hands down the most beautiful place with the most accommodating staff and unbelievable food. From the start of booking we had the MOST positive experience. Jorge showed me around the place and I instantly fell in love. Every part of the wedding planning experience was perfect and choosing the Royalton was one of the best and stress-free decisions I have ever made in my life. Jorge's confidence, kindness and calmness kept me sane over the months of planning the wedding. He was extremely flexible in anything we asked. When creating the menu he helped capture the true essence of who we are, which are huge foodies. They can create almost anything you can dream of. Jorge helped us come up with a pastrami eggroll (which was amazing) and assured me they could recreate a drink I once had at a bar...which they did! Not only was the cocktail hour unbelievable but the main dinners were restaurant quality. On the wedding day, from the moment I arrived, I felt like a princess. No one would let me carry or do anything. The bridal suite was gorgeous, filled with food and drinks and enabled my girls, the moms and I to get ready like royalty. The room is breathtaking and I was so happy that I was able to start my day early and get ready in it. Kim was extremely accommodating and made sure that everyone was happy and hydrated while taking tons of pictures. Everyone says you won't get to eat at your wedding. Kim made sure we were fed the entire time and that we always had a fresh drink on our table. She even offered to get my husband another (amazing) steak. The staff was so attentive and made sure that not only us as the bride and groom were taking care of, but so were our parents and all of the guests at the party. (I had friends going up to Jorge and Mike T telling them how amazing their servers were). Everything was absolutely perfect! Jorge and Mike T run an amazing venue. They are amazing at what they do and so patient while they are doing it. True professionals! My wedding day was beautiful and organized. Not one thing went wrong the entire day. Looking back, there is NOTHING I would change. Jorge was so calm through the entire process, which enabled me to be an extremely calm bride. I knew I was in great hands. From planning the menu, to arranging the rehearsal, to having the baker create the EXACT cake I wanted from a picture - Jorge nailed it! All of our guests left our party talking about how spectacular it was. They loved the food, the venue, the ceremony and how everything seemed to run so seamlessly. One thing that is a major positive of the Royalton is the fact that they only do 1 wedding a day. I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding held in the Royalton. From the moment of arrival to the final moments of the reception...everything was phenomenal. The service was top notch. There wasn't a minute that passed where someone wasn't asking us if we needed anything. The bride and bridesmaid arrived early Sunday morning where we were escorted to the bridal suite. In there was waiting a continental breakfast with bagel, pastries, and coffee. We did our makeup and hair in there without a hitch. The groom and groomsmen of course got a similar service. The food, especially during cocktail hour, was diverse and delicious. I wish I didn't eat so much so I could have enjoyed more of the sit-down dinner. As guests were leaving, they separated the centerpieces into little bouquets that each lady could carry out as the left. I was honored to be asked to be a groomsman for my friends wedding. I've never been to The Royalton Mansion but it truly was an immerse experience in a beautiful, elegant setting. If you're looking for a place to celebrate your special day on Long Island then this is the place to do it. It's in a serene beautiful neighborhood. The mansion is able to blend a classic and modern look with a lot of space. Whether you're having a fully indoor ceremony or prefer something outdoor, Royalton has you covered. The team there was gracious, helpful and lots of fun. They definitely helped reduce the craziness that comes with a wedding. The suite where the groomsman hung out was really nice, had a great fireplace and a tv to pass the time of what is always a very long day. The room where the ceremony was held was beautifully lit, intimate and was truly catered towards my friend and his wife. You almost feel at home. The grounds are ripe with scenery for photos and even some nice spots when you want to take a step out and collect yourself. The food was phenomenal. Get the fillet if you have the option. I would very much recommend this space to anyone whose looking to have an experience that makes you feel like royalty. I want to thank the team there for being so gracious and helpful. I'd left my coat there before heading back to my hotel and went back to get it the next day. This might be the most challenging review that I have to write about any one I hired for my wedding; I'm not sure I can accurately capture just how wonderful my experience was at The Royalton. To say they exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. My decision to have my wedding at The Royalton was by far the best decision I made during the wedding planning process, with the exception of saying "yes" when my fiancé proposed. I had my wedding on August 25, 2018, and had booked The Royalton that past March. It was important to me to have a venue that only did one wedding at a time, a venue that didn't feel like a wedding factory. The Royalton is elegant, yet intimate and warm.The food was amazing...and there is so much of it! They will pretty much make whatever you'd like, but they also offer suggestions to help guide you. This is a common theme with The Royalton; they will tailor your wedding to be whatever you'd like it to be. The service is impeccable. The attention to detail is unparalleled. I cannot begin to say enough positive things about Mike T and Amanda. From the moment Amanda showed me around in March to the day of my wedding, both were with me every step of the way. And I do mean every single step of the way. From talking me off a bridal ledge on a weeknight to patiently dealing with me when it was the week of my wedding and I had yet to pick a signature drink, they were nothing but accommodating, helpful, kind, and the ultimate professionals. If I could hire Mike T. to make my daily life run more smoothly, I would. His aptitude and astuteness makes him such an asset to The Royalton. He can navigate those difficult situations that are bound to happen with absolute ease, and is always 10 steps ahead of everything going on. If I could rate them 10 stars I would! The best kept secret on Long Island. The most beautiful venue with such a care for detail with the best bang for your buck with pricing. From the day we had our first meeting with the Royalton they have been fantastic and after my Husband and I walked in the first time we knew it was where we were supposed to be married. Mike T and his entire staff were perfect. Their attention to detail is unmatched. Mike T told me we didn't need a wedding planner or coordinator with them and he was right. He took his role above and beyond! Every question and pre-wedding concern I had was answered quickly and ever worry I had they calmed my fear. The food was amazing and every aspect of the menu completely customizable. We had so many dietary restrictions and Mike was able to accommodate everyone without any issues. The grounds are beautiful both inside and outside. We planned for our ceremony to be in their beautiful garden but unfortunately mother nature had other plans and the move to inside was still as beautiful. Our family and friends are still raving about how beautiful it was, how amazing the food was and how the staff were phenomenal. Michelle, the bridal attendant was also phenomenal and helped the day run so smoothly! We had an unfortunate incident thar required a guest to be removed from the wedding. The professionalism and approach that Mike T took to handle the situation was perfect to the point that I had no idea of the circumstance and to those involved were blown away on how well it was handled by himself and staff and to ensure all our guests were safe as well. Had my daughter's wedding on October 22, 2022 . I say on most if not all my reviews that I typically only post a review for places that are exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. The wedding was absolutely amazing. Service, food, and attention exceeded expectations. As my friends know, I am very critical when it comes to food, but why shouldn't I be. I was hoping the food to be decent, because for most wedding venues food it's just that, decent at best. The food exceeded our expectations by far. As far as me being critical, you'll understand if you read my review. All the food was good to amazing, with only 2 things that were ehhh. Before the ceremony they handed out a few butler style hors d'oeuvres which is nice. I think at a lot of weddings they don't typically serve anything before the ceremony. The Tuna Tartare was amazing, the fresh mozzarella was good (even most restaurants don't serve good fresh mozzarella), the Bruschetta was very good. The chicken salad on like a lettuce leave was ehh (one of only 2 things I think that were ehh). Then was the ceremony that we did outdoors, got lucky that is was a beautiful day. Beautiful grounds to have a wedding. Elegant and personal. Then onto the cocktail hour, the hamburger sliders were ehh, which is the only other ehh thing at the wedding (I think they could have made better sliders), so I figured, I'd get the only ehh cocktail hour food out of the way 1st. We got the seafood table (lobster, shrimp, raw clams and raw oysters). I didn't have the oysters because I don't really like oysters, but the 3 others were very good. I would say the seafood table put the cocktail hour over the top, but it really would have been over the top anyways, so I guess I'd have to say it put the reception over, over the top, lol. We had the outdoor bbq station, the lamb chops were amazing. That's all I had at the bbq station, because I was so full from eating so much other stuff. I think they had chicken and beef skewers, didn't have any of that, there may have been other things on that station, not sure. They had butler style hors d'oeuvres, I think I only had a cocktail frank that was good. concentrated mostly on the table/stations, and I don't remember having any other of the passed hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour. Didn't touch I think was an Asian station, too full. Had a shrimp taco and beef taco made to order (with guacamole), they were very good (didn't have the taco). Had the chicken and waffle, was already very full by that time, so only ate the waffle which was amazing. Had the shells and cheese which were amazing, didn't have the waffle fries at that station (I'm not big on fries anyways) I think that was it for the cocktail hour (more than enough, lol), unless I missed one of the stations. On to dinner. They had a mozzarella burrata appetizer, which I would say was okay, but I'm not a burrata fan, so my review of that probably doesn't count, I'm more of a fresh mozzarella fan, but my daughter wanted the burrata. The poached pear that came with it was very good. The main course came next, I was so full, I could only eat about 1/4 of the decently large ribeye :( that I would say the steak was steakhouse restaurant quality. The lobster risotto on the side was amazing. I usually like bread, but too full to eat. I heard the Chilean Sea Bass was very good, and that the vegetarian dish mushroom wellington was amazing. Desert plate, fresh fruit was good, ice cream on a small waffle bowl was very good (even though I was full, they could have given a little more ice cream, which I know they would have given if I asked), and a little chocolate cake, kind of like a molten lava cake was very good, inside could have been a little hotter and more melty. Believe it or not, I couldn't even touch the wedding cake, which wasn't from them, but I heard was very good, and was from Dortoni's. Then came I think was called the parade of desserts, couldn't even think about touching any of those. I ate a lot, by most people's standards, i.e. I had either 4 or 5 lobster tail halves :O but I wish I could have eaten even more Mike was great, as well as Arturro. They went out of their way to make sure to take care of everything we asked for. All the staff were extremely courteous and took care of all requests, as I was told from my guests. As far as seeing the few bad reviews on here, I guess you can't please everyone, or some people just can't be pleased. The venue is beautiful, and it's nice having the place to yourselves, which is what my daughter had wanted. I would say if you have the opportunity to book this venue, do it. If your event turns out as spectacular as ours did, you will thank me. I will update this review in the future if I can think of anything else to add and will add pictures when we get them back from the photographer. On Sunday, April 8th, the my family held a reception for my cousin wedding at the country club. We arrived after the ceremony to an efficient valet service. Upon entrance we were greeted with cosmopolitans, Apple martinis and warm smiles from wait staff. The men's room smelled great and stocked with lotions. The horsdeurves flourished with recommendations from the staff. Kudos to the chicken salad and the lamb! Cocktail hour was over looking a beautiful garden out of all windows. The bartenders were very knowledgeable of cocktails. The food stations were well seasoned and abundant. My favorite was the jerk chicken. Perfect touch of spice and flavor. The main course options were recommended by our server. I chose the pan seared Chilean sea bass. The plate presentation was outstanding. The fish melted with the right touch of flavor. Great accompanied sauce poured on top. The main dining room was at a comfortable temperature. The room was well lit and maintained from top to bottom. Wow. An incredible wedding venue! While not as large as some other rooms on LI, The Royalton gets all the little things right. For real, every employee I ran into (literally) was incredibly professional and helpful. The food was excellent (well, as excellent as wedding food can be) and the bartenders weren't too proud to rock some (many) chilled tequila shots. Big ups for the transition from wedding service to tabled reception too. They seemed like two completely different rooms. My wife and I got married at the Royalton on the same day as the "Royal Wedding" but I honestly felt like WE were the ones treated like kings and queens. It has been two weeks since the wedding and people can't stop talking about how incredible the venue and the food was. Prepare yourself for a very lavish wedding, including food before the ceremony, an insurmountable amount of food at the cocktail party, a huge, filling dinner (with vegetarian/vegan options!), top shelf liquor and a dessert spread that some of your guests may have never seen before. I had multiple people come up to me and tell me that the steak was just as good or better than top steakhouses in NYC and apparently people were licking their fingers from the lamb chops in cocktail hour. Most importantly, they are incredibly accommodating. Mike T couldn't be a nicer guy. Ashley was incredible. They had every detail down pat, including having food waiting for us in the bridal suite after the ceremony and generally just helping us through the most important day of our lives. Went here for a wedding Friday and it was one of the better weddings I've been to (and I was at Oheka Castle 2 months before for a wedding). My criteria for a good wedding are as follows: * Good food * Attentive, friendly service * Good drink selection (open bar) * Great company * Nice looking place (one of the lesser important requirements, but I still don't want to attend a wedding at a dump). The Royalton satisfied on all levels. Food: Cocktail hour had a whole pig that was delicious (sausage and pork were outstanding). They also had calamari which was really good and were passing around an assortment of finger foods that were also delicious. I didn't have a bad thing at the cocktail hour. The salad was good and it included this goat cheese on toast that was very very good. I ordered the Prime Rib which was also tasty. Dessert selection was one of the better ones I've seen. They made these cooked bananas with rum, butter, and caramel which were delicious. They also had this chocolate fountain where they soaked strawberries and pretzels. Also...very good. Service: All the bartenders were really nice (one of them filled up my glass with beer and saw that there was beer left over so he told me to sip from the glass so he could poor the rest in..very cool). Another bartender was very personable and was chatting with me without being annoying about it. I was able to get wine, water, etc. from the wait staff almost immediately. Service was probably one of the best I've had for a wedding reception. Drinks: Open bar so already major points. They had a nice selection of beer (including Sam Adams seasonal) and had a lot of liquor to choose from. Staff was quick to get drinks. Ambience: A LOT of space for the cocktail hour because they opened up the outside area. I can see this getting crowded pretty quickly if they didn't have that outside area opened. They did cram a lot of us at one table for the reception, but it wasn't too bad (and we were the only table that had 15 people..most others had 10 or so). Very nice place too... Other stuff: * We participated in an after party that was 1.5 hours after the wedding where they provided drinks, cigars, and food. Granted, this was because the wedding party paid more, but it was a very nice touch. * I lost my valet ticket and they didn't give me a hard time about it (like I've had in the past with other places). Our 25th wedding anniversary was held at the Royalton in August of 2011. The Royalton's ballroom and conservatory were very elegant. The outdoor gardens and courtyard had beautiful landscaping that provided an assortment of colorful accents, but it was tastefully done as in an English garden. Most venues either have a beautiful indoor space and no outdoor ceremony space, or beautiful outdoor ceremony grounds and then the indoors is not as elegant. The Royalton had both and on top of that the food and service were both outstanding. One most important thing I would like to mention is that it rained on our day so, after all, we did not get to have the outdoors ceremony. What was outstanding about this is that before the guests began to arrive, the Royalton staff turned the ballroom into a beautiful indoor "garden" ceremony room (they took the floral decor our event planner had set up in the outdoor gardens, brought it indoors and provided amber uplighting (simulating a sunset). Then they transformed the ceremony room back into a ballroom while the guests were having post ceremony cocktails (the ongoing transition was very efficiently done, so that the process remained unnoticed by our guests). I cannot tell you how glad I was on that day that we chose the Royalton, because their efficiency and effectiveness in making our indoor ceremony just as beautiful as an outdoor one, actually saved our very special day from being affected by the rain. To me the most valuable aspect of a catering hall (in addition to the quality of food and grounds) is how professional and experienced the staff was in handling an unforeseen crisis, so that our very special day was not ruined by stress and unmet venue expectations. Mike T, our contact at The Royalton, was absolutely wonderful to us and I am very grateful to him. From the day we signed the contract, to the tasting, and all throughout the last days before our event, he was available to us however many times we needed him. In addition, the night before the event, he stayed late at the Royalton to receive us and all of the items we needed to bring for our event, so we would not have to deal with any of that on our day. We very much appreciated that extra measure he took to ensure that our event day was totally stress free. Since we did hold our event there, I can assure you based on my own personal experience that the Royalton is an outstanding venue worth considering. I never actually saw this place. I live in Boston and I was trying to make appointments to view places. I called twice to schedule an appointment. The first time they were rude to me, but I thought it was because I requested to see the venue that day. The next time I called with at least a week in advance. The man I spoke with hounded me on what other venues I was seeing and then he said I was going to be late. Then he asked that I come during the week and I explained again that I live in Boston. He didn't care to try to fit me in or anything. I don't know what Kind of show they are running there, but for all you brides out there DON'T GO!! If they are rude before you even see the venue how are they going to be the day of the wedding. I don't know about you, but I don't need any added stress before the wedding. My friend got married here a couple of weeks ago and every little thing the entire day was taken care of. The whole wedding went seamlessly, and it couldn't have been more beautiful. The food was excellent (and abundant!), and I was so impressed with all the servers. Nobody had to get up for drink refills - the servers knew what we were drinking and had refills ready anytime our drinks got low. Everything was picture perfect. My only criticism of the entire place is that there were no hard surfaces for the bridesmaids to stand on outside, so our heels were sinking into the grass. My husband and I attended a wedding here yesterday and it was so beautiful from the minute you walked in! This is he venue that my parents made my Sweet 16 almost 50 years ago! Needless to say it has changed quite a bit but the place has an amazing charm and the service could not have been better! From the bartenders to the wait staff and busboys all the employees were spot on! The wedding was held outside in the garden at 3:00. It was perfect weather and the Chupah was so tasteful and simple. The weather changed immediately after the service was over to pouring rain and chilly. They say there are no coincidences! That was a sing that this couple will have luck and a happy future together if you ask me. Anyway the food at cocktail hour was Mediterranean and carving stations were delicious. My main entree Chilean sea bass was delicious as well As my husband had chicken and roasted potatoes. The soup was butternut squash and it was served in the shell of the squash. Great presentation and piping hot. Desert was delicious and so was the bridal cake. I would love for One of my children to have chose this place for their wedding. We had our June wedding at the Royalton Mansion at Roslyn Country Club. Mike, George and the entire staff were incredibly attentive to my wife the entire night! From the moment we stepped into the venue it was a magical day. The Bridal Party was provided with sandwiches, freshly made pastas, quesadillas, fruit, cheese and drinks throughout the day prior to the event. They kept everyone calm and took great care of us as we got ready. There were so many rooms upstairs, we felt like we were at home! Throughout the affair, the bridal attendants, Mike, George and all the staff were on their 'A' game. They helped us with everything, from sewing up the brides dress when needed, to adjusting the air conditioning, and somehow they even stopped the rain right before the ceremony! I have never seen such attentive hosts, and that made an incredible difference during the night. The food - I have been to many weddings and affairs, and without a doubt, the Royalton Mansion serves the best food we have ever had! They serve generous portions, and creates a custom menu with you, from all the cocktail hour stations, to the main courses, and even the cake! Everything was carefully chosen by us, and perfected by them. They even went as far as getting our favorite craft beers from around the country and served them at our wedding! All we could say was WOW, and the entire night and since that day our guests have been raving about the food and drinks! The ambiance at the Royalton is amazing. The venue is lovely and a great space. I attended a wedding here last weekend and can only say wonderful things about the event. HOWEVER, for members of the bridal party, be sure to keep an eye on your belongings. I was the maid of honor and running around to ensure everything was going smoothly and kept my purse (what I had assumed was) locked up in the bridal suite and another room. At some point during the evening somebody was able to steal $150 out of my wallet. I would recommend either bringing no valuables if you are not going to be able to monitor them the entire night or just carry everything with you. read more

Only book this place if you want every detail taken care of. If you want to cut corners this may not be the place for you. The food was like having Nobu, Peter Lugers and Il Mulino cooking for your affair. The service was like being on a luxury cruise ship. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The place is not ostentatious or over the top decor. In fact, it was ideal. Very simple but elegant with a warm feel. We also had the ceremony which was set up there under the white tent. The feel was unlike any wedding that I have ever been to before. It was decorated to have a cozy feel with a loving touch. It had a chandelier that was designed for the most elegant foyer which fit perfectly to facilitate the flow of the room. Just had my son's wedding there yesterday, 8/22/15. The place inside and outside is obviously wonderful. The food, meaning everything at the cocktail hour and everything at dinner was fantastic, matching or exceeding any fine dining experience. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about either. Prior to the event though you get to taste the food and see the venue so we really weren't surprised by either. What was surprising was the impeccable service! Starting hours before the party we were all treated in a way that is hard to describe. It seemed like before you could even think of something you needed or wanted they were there to provide it for you. I dealt mostly with Jorge, Steve and Kim who could not have been more professional. From getting you a drink or food, running errands, organizing everything, to having to tie 8 bow ties there was nothing they were not ready and willing to do. They took away any stress that may have come with the day. During the party nothing changed. I must have been asked 20 time if there was anything at all I needed.The amazing service was not just for the wedding party though. Guest after guest commented about how they were treated as well. Three guests told me they felt like old friends with the waiters by the end of the event as they took so much care in the service they provided. Someone there sure knows how to choose and train their staff. I've been lucky enough to travel and attend many functions and affairs at high end places and I can say (and many others said the same thing) that the Royalton is above ANYTHING else I have experienced! I just got married here last night. The experience that we had was absolutely perfect. Mike T and his staff were on point from the start of the day till the very end of the night. I came here the other night for a wedding reception as a guest. What a beautiful location! We did valet, so I have no idea what the parking was like. You walk straight into a big and beautiful foyer with an open staircase. We started out in the bar area for drinks and appetizers. There was a large selections of drinks and appetizers. Not sure if this was provided by the Royalton Mansion or if another company was used, but everything was top notch. The bar/appetizer area was very romantic and beautifully decorated. They also had a tent area outside with heaters (it was cold). After an hour or so, we were invited into the dining/dance hall. Again, very nice and large space. There was a menu of a few different entree's and if the Royalton provided the food(i dont know), it was very tasty!. This was one of my top 10 wedding experiences, and I've been to a lot of wedding!! read more

I just had my wedding here and there are no words to describe how amazing everything was. Mike T and Jorge are true professionals who really know what they are doing. I, and our guests, could not have been in better hands. Our guests are still raving about the food, which was fantastic. I am a vegetarian, and they went out of their way to help me create a menu that I could actually enjoy. I ate more at my own wedding than I have ever have at someone else's. My bridal attendant, Kim, was so friendly and helpful and was always around any time I needed her. Mike T. even helped take off my veil in the middle of the reception! Everyone really goes over and above there and it shows. We are still receiving compliments on the service. Plus, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. I knew I did not want a typical Long Island catering hall and the Royalton was exactly what I was looking for. This place is truly top-notch and I can't say enough good things about my experience. Came here In Dec for an evening wedding, So though I could not see the exterior grounds, I was highly impressed by everything I encountered inside this place. Staff, service, food, ambiance, decor, everything was right on the money. The cocktail hour though, was spectacular. The raw bar was so divine. The largest jumbo shrimp I have ever seen, lobster claws, and all kinds of shellfish claws too. Oysters weren't the largest, but lobster can't be beat. Ceremony was held outside in a large heated tent, and even that was decorated nicely and lit beautifully. Ballroom was large and airy, and lobby had and staircases had lots of class too. Staff brought out shots to guest on dance floor, which I've never seen before. There was a great amount of pampering going on here, which is nice to see, especially when these places have to do it over and over again. This place is probably a steal price wise. My daughter was married at the Royalton on Sunday October 19, 2014. I can honestly say this was the most magical wedding ever. From the moment we booked the venue, Jorge was amazing! We never experienced a moment of stress, in fact he made everything so easy and every request was accommodated. Due to Jorge's calm and wonderful personality, my daughter was the most calm and happy bride I have ever seen. From his recommendations, the flowers, the food, the decor, everything was perfect! From the time we arrived early Sunday morning, Jorge, Mike T. and Kim were at our service. Kim was an incredible bridal attendant and anticipated our every need even "before" we asked! They have the most beautifull Bridal Suite and they made sure that all of the bridal party was well fed, hydrated and every detail was attended to. My daughter was made to feel like a princess and I'm sure the same was true of the Groom and his attendants. They made the whole wedding party feel so special I would never consider going anywhere else for a wedding or other major event. There was not one thing I would change, everything was absolutely perfect!!!! My husband and I were flooded with phone calls from all our friends and family about how fabulous everything was.
