Visit Date: August 2, 2015 Hubby and I attended the wedding of my friend and her groom to be. The atmosphere was almost impeccably beautiful. I say almost because one on side of the mansion we discovered an abandoned country club. So if you decide to explore just a little bit on your visit here you will see some unkempt among the beauty. From what I've gathered it's possible this mansion is a one party venue, but I didn't go upstairs so I can't verify that there were extra rooms available upstairs for a party. The entrance hall was a little tight once people started arriving, but the staff took care of that by ushering the crowd into a pre-ceremony space with some seating and access to outside. They served drinks and the waiters roamed around with pre-ceremony appetizers. This place will keep feeding you if you attend an event here. The ceremony took place outside which I loved because I love being outside as much as I possibly can in the summer. It was a little hot and I was sweating but I was happy for the detoxification that sweating brings. I did feel bad for the men in suits including my husband. They set up the ceremony beautifully. The cocktail hour was in the same area as the pre-ceremony drinks were. Once the ceremony was over the staff had trays of iced water and some alcohol available as a refresher from viewing the ceremony outside. The cocktail hour was huge. I didn't even get to visit all the stations available with appetizer and mini meal set ups. After the cocktail hour was finished we were ushered into the main reception area where the first course was set up. The butter was beautiful, served in the shape of roses. The first course was a salad with rustic Italian rolls. The vegetables were fresh, the rolls were crusty, crunchy and soft at the same time. The second course was pasta, rigatoni in a semi-creamy tomato sauce. It wasn't flavorful but still it was good. The third and main course was the one I favored the most. I had the vegetable lasagna. It was chock full of veggies and pretty flavorful with the spices that they used. The coffee was great too, not weak at all and very tasty. The dessert was incredible, they had a viennese hour which was chock full of every dessert you could think of. Chocolate cordial shots were served, cappuccinos were freshly made, assorted ice cream was scooped out with various sundae toppings, cookies all over the place as well as some cake, and a chocolate fountain. Everything I had from the viennese hour was pretty good, my favorite was the mini linzer tart. Overall they do a nice job for a wedding and I'm pretty sure any party you might have here. I have a feeling it's expensive but I don't know the prices. The staff is attentive, the place is very pretty, and it seems you will get pretty good food and some entertainment depending on who the party throwers book for entertainment.

My husband and I got married here last Sunday on October 19, 2014. It is hands down the most beautiful place with the most accommodating staff and unbelievable food. From the start of booking we had the MOST positive experience. Jorge showed me around the place and I instantly fell in love. Every part of the wedding planning experience was perfect and choosing the Royalton was one of the best and stress-free decisions I have ever made in my life. Jorge's confidence, kindness and calmness kept me sane over the months of planning the wedding. He was extremely flexible in anything we asked. When creating the menu he helped capture the true essence of who we are, which are huge foodies. They can create almost anything you can dream of. Jorge helped us come up with a pastrami eggroll (which was amazing) and assured me they could recreate a drink I once had at a bar...which they did! Not only was the cocktail hour unbelievable but the main dinners were restaurant quality. On the wedding day, from the moment I arrived, I felt like a princess. No one would let me carry or do anything. The bridal suite was gorgeous, filled with food and drinks and enabled my girls, the moms and I to get ready like royalty. The room is breathtaking and I was so happy that I was able to start my day early and get ready in it. Kim was extremely accommodating and made sure that everyone was happy and hydrated while taking tons of pictures. Everyone says you won't get to eat at your wedding. Kim made sure we were fed the entire time and that we always had a fresh drink on our table. She even offered to get my husband another (amazing) steak. The staff was so attentive and made sure that not only us as the bride and groom were taking care of, but so were our parents and all of the guests at the party. (I had friends going up to Jorge and Mike T telling them how amazing their servers were). Everything was absolutely perfect! Jorge and Mike T run an amazing venue. They are amazing at what they do and so patient while they are doing it. True professionals! My wedding day was beautiful and organized. Not one thing went wrong the entire day. Looking back, there is NOTHING I would change. Jorge was so calm through the entire process, which enabled me to be an extremely calm bride. I knew I was in great hands. From planning the menu, to arranging the rehearsal, to having the baker create the EXACT cake I wanted from a picture - Jorge nailed it! All of our guests left our party talking about how spectacular it was. They loved the food, the venue, the ceremony and how everything seemed to run so seamlessly. One thing that is a major positive of the Royalton is the fact that they only do 1 wedding a day. To me this was an amazing feature because it really makes you feel special since your wedding is the center of everyone's attention.

The bartender for my moms birthday was the worsttt with his attitude! I paid for half the party and even I felt uncomfortable asking for another soda! Everyone I came into conversation with had noticed and had something to say about him. It wasn't at all enjoyable having his service. They took care of us as if we were family!!! Chad and Sophia were thoughtful, responsive and authentic in ensuring that our vision of creating a memorable experience in the celebration of our mother's 90th birthday was not just met but that it would exceed expectations, and, indeed, the afternoon celebration did just that! The responses from our guests have been overwhelmed with positivity, with raves about the beauty of the venue from the moment they entered the property, starting with the parking lot filled with the colorful, lush bushes and flowers and the bridge to the beauty of the space within welcomed by the pianist while further in a pond of giant colorful goldfish. The conversation has not stopped about the kindness of the staff or how wonderful the food tasted with its variety of choices. Coming here was certainly a treat. The venue is not far from my home in Mineola (which is also a positive.) A very easy ride and I self parked in the large lot behind the CC. I love photographing smaller (under 250 people) events. It almost like you get to meet all the guests and picture taking becomes almost personal. This venue is large enough for that party and easy to navigate while photographing people in the different rooms. The team here is AMAZING. They were all incredibly helpful and friendly. I had been to the venue twice before--my sister got married here and a friend had a bridal shower--so I already knew it was beautiful. But hosting our wedding here was something truly special. From the very first meeting, the staff made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely confident that our day would be in good hands. The venue itself is gorgeous with a warm, slightly rustic, homey charm, but the real standout is the staff. They are some of the kindest, most accommodating people you will ever meet. We didn't even bother touring other venues because we just knew this was the place--and we were 100% right. We worked mostly with James and John, who ran our wedding, and they were both phenomenal. James in particular deserves all the praise in the world. He handles so many details behind the scenes and somehow always seems to be in the exact place you need him. He listened closely to what we wanted and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. He was even completely prepared for emergencies, pulling out Advil at one point and a tide pen at another... and right before our ceremony, my husband accidentally got water on his vest. James took it, dried it, and brought it back looking perfect just in time. It was such a small moment, but it speaks volumes about how dedicated he is. By the end of the night, it honestly felt like James and John were family. We're already joking about finding excuses to go back just to say hello. If you're considering this venue--stop considering and just BOOK IT! Stewart Manor Country Club is outstanding in every way: the staff, the service, the atmosphere, the care, the experience. We couldn't recommend them more.

They can accommodate for up to 25 children however the office needs to be notified of how many kids will be officially attending the party a week in advance assuming they want to make sure they have enough people to assist with the games. Planning a head is key since this place tends to book up quite quickly because they are available Friday, Saturday and Sunday only for 1 hour and 45 minutes. You are able to arrive 10 minutes the earliest prior to the start time for set up since all they provide are tables and the garbage bin in the eating room. I had quite a few friends come in to help out with the set up which is highly recommended since it will be difficult to set up by yourself in 10 minutes. We had set up the water, juice, plate, forks, napkins, cups (a cup filled with black sharpie pens to write your names with on the drinks) and the party favors on 2 fold-able tables that you can easily access and set up yourselves. The main table which are 2 benches placed side by side are already set up which is where we had the balloons attached and table cover set up as well. On the opposite side of the room which is right across from the windows of where you can see into the gym, has a long sitting bench starting from one end to the other end of the wall. Above that, there are hooks going across as well which made it extremely convenient for guests to hang their bags and coats. There is also a boys and girls bathroom (single use) and they do have a fridge but not available in the same room since I gave the cake to the worker and saw him take it down to the lower lever (gym area) to another room but brought it back out when it was time for cake. As for food, in my opinion, since it is a short time, it's best to provide food that is quick in easy for kids to eat, such has chicken tenders, french fries, sandwiches, chips, etc. I decided to go real easy and order pizza AND have it delivered at the time the kids would be eating so that it would be warm. I had the kids eat first which took about 20 to 30 minutes and they played for about an hour and returned for cake for the last 15 - 20 minutes we had left. The sports that the kids played were soccer, hockey and dodgeball. Keep in mind the majority of the kids were 5 to 6 so I wouldn't really consider them playing a sport but more of them having the freedom to run around a large space with balls and sticks. I am assuming if the kids were older, the 2 coaches (teenagers) would be more engaged during the game play but with my kids, they basically provided the equipment, music and made sure when it was time, they moved on to the next sport. At times, I felt that they could at least toss the balls back into the center but they would either just stand and watch or be on their phones. But nothing to really be upset about considering the kids were having fun either way. Few of the adults went to the end of the court and played some basketball. Overall, it was an experience and yes, I could have easily booked a party at chucky cheese or bouncy house/trampoline house but in my personal opinion, though it was work for me to bring everything in, it was private and the space of the gym was so huge, it didn't feel as hectic as the other party places and it was nice to be able to just sit, eat and watch while the kids played. Cost wise, depending on how you spend, it may come out the same but it definitely shouldn't be more since this place does not charge based on number of kids. The rent space is a flat fee of $300.00 (check only). So if you are someone who has 20 kids for a party, you know that just the kids alone will cost you double that fee plus more since you pay extra for food for adults, favors, etc. TIPS: If ordering pizza, order it from Previti & Papazzio located at 2085 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 (516-354-2354) since they offer a small discount on the order if you have it delivered to the center. I would recommend the kids to eat first so that during the time kids are playing, the adults can watch from above and eat the remaining food (since most parents don't get to eat when the kids are eating) and when the parents are done, you have the opportunity to start cleaning up and even have the guest pack left overs (bring aluminium foil). You can also start bringing things to the car so that later on you have less to carry out. I had a sheet cake but if I were to do it over again, I would have went with cupcakes because you save time cutting the cake and serving it to everyone where as for cupcakes, guests just take as they please and it's faster to eat as well. Lastly, be on time since there are other parties before and after you. So you have to be out of the room, all guests, cleaned up and cleared out ON TIME. Delegating is key (let your friends help). Best Advice: Keep the party as simple as possible! Less is more :)
