So, if you don't mind being surrounded by patients getting treatments, this seems like a good place to get a lot of water therapy. If they just had an outdoor pool, I might have signed up. But, if you are seeking a private place to put on that bathing suit where no one is going to judge you (since most of the people that I saw looked like they were over 60), this just might be your place. They also have classes in the pool. If I ever need any physical therapy, I will ask to be referred here.

I reached out to Compass a few months ago after getting a referral from my doctor to help with some back pain issues. When I reached out to them, I let them know that a previous PT office I was referred to had initially told me Aetna would cover everything and I'd just be responsible for a $50 copay. The other physical therapist office let me know prior to my first appointment however that after running my insurance, my cost per appointment would be significantly higher and suggested I cancel and find somewhere Aetna would cover. Soon after, I reached out to Compass, let them know about this entire situation over email, and got confirmation that my copay would only be $50. I scheduled my first appointment and three subsequent ones - paying $50 each time. A couple of weeks later I get a call from the staff who runs insurance/billing letting me know there was some miscommunication or mistake and Aetna would not in fact be covering my previous appointments and the amount owed would be substantially higher. I told them I'd like to cancel all future appointments then, given that it was way more expensive. I then got a call from the therapist I worked with (Eric, who was great) asking why I had missed my last appointment. I guess the billing staff I talked to didn't actually delete my appointments in their calendar. He said he'd look into it and see what's going on. A few weeks later, I get a surprise bill in the mail for $490 for the 4 appointments I had. A call with Compass confirmed that yes, I do owe them the full amount. I was told it would be $50 per appointment when I scheduled the appointments (and was encouraged to schedule in advance to make sure I got a spot in their schedule) then was slapped with a bill of roughly $172.50 per appointment. I guess I could only recommend this place if you're 100% sure your insurance will cover it, but even then you better get it in writing or they'll probably try and screw you over like they did to me. In a situation like this, I'd expect the practice to waive the cost as it was their fault in not doing their due diligence or communicating the cost at the time of the appointments being scheduled.

Working with Cornerstone was the worst experience I've ever had with a physical therapy facility…read more When i arrived the receptionist told me I had to pay $100 and didn't know why. I'd forgotten my iPhone at home so she told me to go home and call my insurance company and I could cancel for that day - no problem. The next month they charged me $50 for leaving and not paying the $100. For 4 months I called their billing dept. and never received a call back. The intake people, Brenda and Phoebe, were very nice and listened to my story but said they had no authority to cancel the payment. Then I'm told the owner, Seth, heard my explanation and said I owed him $50. He would not talk with me neither would Stephanie, head of billing. I also learned they charge $165 or so for an evaluation and it's out of pocket with no insurance accepted. Strange policies at this place.

I was there when COVID restrictions were high and the…read morestaff were always cleaning and making the place as comfortable as possible.  Worked Mainly with Riley, but also saw Jordan and Both were fantastic and made it so I enjoyed my experience. Came in with a great deal of low back pain, but By the end of my time there I was pain free and able to get back running and playing with my kids without problems. After a brief assessment, we went right into exercises, not pain management or manual therapy. I left the session with a significant amount of inflammation and it created complications that set me back in my recovery. I called afterwards to give a heads up to the office manager and she fully backed her therapist, instead blaming my surgeon for not giving more specifics instructions. In any case, I don't think full body push ups with a resistance band across the upper back on top of a wobbly massage table 3 feet off the ground is an ideal exercise to start off with just one month after spinal surgery. I would caution anyone considering going here to make sure there is a clear understanding of your limitations and realistic plan for rehabilitation that builds gradually over time. Anything else is just dangerous and irresponsible.

Yesterday I sat in the lobby and watched the angry lady working at the front desk be completely rude to patients that had come in. Two that were clearly in a lot of pain and she was just outright rude to them. I thought she and one of the male patients were going to get into a fight when she took his payment and then refused to let him have his treatment because his ride could not be there until after the procedure. Go figure? I've seen her be rude to many people over the visits I've made there. I just keep my mouth shut and go in and pay my bill and ignore her but she's awful. I hope she doesn't see this and figure out who I am. The next time I go in, she might treat me terrible. Lol. Go somewhere else if you can. Especially if you're in pain or don't feel comfortable. Or if you need compassion. I think the doctors provide good service but it's not a place to go if you're needing. Any kind of friendliness, from my point of view.
