I would really give them a 3.5. It's a nice little spa in the basement of the building. There's a nice spacious locker room and showers. No real space to get privately dressed. You get your robe and slippers in your locker when you arrive, dress in the locker room, then go into the waiting room which is nice and relaxing. It's dimly lit and has relaxing sounds playing with a cold water dispenser. The massage was AMAZING. Yvette did a great job! My facial was done by someone who I later learned just graduated so I won't name her. She did a great job overall but my main complaint is a major one. As she was massaging certain items into my face, she would swipe her hands up from my chin to my forehead. The issue is that she would have chemicals on her gloves so when she would swipe up, the chemicals would land inside of my eyelids. When I left the massage room, I could barely see and it felt like oil was in my eyes. It took about 2 hours for my eyes to feel completely better. I had to Uber to a place 5 mins from the hotel to eat when I originally planned on driving but I was scared because it was difficult to see. My sister got a facial by the same person and had the same issue. The front desk staff was nice and courteous. They even made it clear we could leave our belongings in the lockers until we left the resort. We had a Groupon for the massage, facial, and access to the resort all day.

Such a lovely little spa! Took my daughter here for so much needed pampering. We had the best facial and massage we took the time to go outside to the Jacuzzi in the pool area which was nice and clean we went on a Wednesday so there was nobody running around and it was totally peaceful and quiet. The relaxation room is tiny but quaint and lovely and relaxing they have the nicest comfy chairs if you just lean back they will recline. With a lovely experience thank you so much for such a great day! We will definitely come back

We had to close our shades as the wedding can see directly into our room and the music is LOUD (Chris Brown is blasting as I type and bass, mercy is it bumping.) It was kinda creepy. We could see and hear the entire ceremony. In my reservation I requested a quiet room, and I have quiet room in my Hyatt profile. I don't think that much forethought is put into guest placement. Yes, we are paying pennies compared to this wedding BUT they are not fostering relationships with Hyatt members. (I did mention this to reception and they offered bonus points. Great BUT this is an awful last night.) The room: King Casita is an excellent size! We have a king bed and a rollaway bed and we still have space! The bathroom space is large too! I don't care for a stocked fridge and snacks. It's useless nowadays. We had to ask for a fridge to be brought in. The room is very clean, however there were a few moths flying around the room, which was odd. Pool: the pool is wonderful! We are here on spring break (a very popular travel week) and always found spots at the pool. The servers are the pool are awesome 5/5 stars! Attentive and professional. The food at the pool was great (the burger was the restaurant burger and the whipped ricotta and fruit was yummy). The location is great! We did rent a car but never had to drive far! The valet team is speedy but it's an odd service as the parking spaces are super close. (I was ready to give this place 4 stars but this last night is a stinky way to end the trip.)

The showers make you feel brand new and the rooftop pool is secluded and peaceful. I got the shrimp kabobs at the rooftop and it was so incredible I booked another service to come back the next day! My only add is that the services themselves could use improvement. I had a massage yesterday where my therapist spent 7 min of my 50 min explaining to me the massage and talking to me rather than providing me with my service. While I very directly asked for deep tissue, she refused saying that is not what I needed. I tried several times to politely redirect Ms.Annette ( my masseuse) and express that that is what I would like, but ultimately I felt uncomfortable and unable to advocate for myself in this vulnerable space. She took it upon herself to do what she thought I needed rather than what I asked for and expressed I wanted. This was frustrating. My nail tech for my pedicure, Nora, also started 6 min late for my pedicure despite no one else being in the salon. This normally would be no issue for me ( I am at a spa after all!) but it is frustrating that the scheduled end of the service is not adjusted to align with the providers tardiness. Finally, the spa attendants in the bathroom area(s) could not be any friendlier or more helpful. One even brought me water while I was getting ready. It's the little things! I love coming here for the amenities, pool, and food, but I am tempted and would recommend to go otherwhere for better quality services ( massage and pedicure) where providers are excited/ agreeable to align with client direction and requests

So today we booked it as part of a birthday and Mother's Day weekend celebration. When our technician called out, staff member Madison called us at 9:02 AM and offered to upgrade my pedicure into a massage at no extra charge since our technician called in sick. I told her my husband won't go to the pedicure alone and asked how much do we need to pay for him if we also upgrade his service into a massage? Madison proceeded to place me on hold and came back and said don't worry about the upgrade for Mr. Fish and I got immediately excited and so happy and thanked her , told her will be there by 10 AM.. Upon arrival, we were handed a bill for $635 a Kimberly checked us in. I said I spoke to a Madison and she was next to her and confirmed to Kimberly at the front that our price was $240 total based on our earlier conversation She even told me Kimberly that we are getting upgraded to 2 Artisan massages. We went ahead with our massages trusting it was resolved. We had the best time and enjoyed as normal and ended up leaving around 4PM. At checkout, my husband went downstairs and Madison is now presenting him with the $635 bill!!! Of course like anyone in his position he would be shocked! Like what?!!!! He felt like he was having an out of body experience!! Madison's explanation, and I quote " I misspoke"claimed she misspoke and gave my husband the $635 bill telling my husband that her manager Jed told her while we were getting our massages that what she was told by her manager Jed that they can longer provide what was promised to me on the phone and at checkout. This was going while I was still upstairs, and saw my husband upset. I asked what's going on and he said don't worry about it I will handle this, he said it's your birthday and I am not letting them spoil your day . When confronted, Madison denied ever offering the upgrade in front of her manager when my husband said that's what she said. My husband did not even want me in this conversation because it was birthday/Mother's Day weekend and he did not want to spoil my day.. . What was meant to be a special weekend turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. We loved the massages but left feeling disappointed by Madison. I have to say Madison has been so pleasant and super friendly every time we were there, to get this treatment from her, this really hurt me especially on my day and so unexpected. The manager Jed in my opinion did not handle this right. He should have asked Kimberly listened to the call that was made. I don't know but this was handled very poorly in my opinion. Madison had so many chances to make this right but chose not to. What was offered in good faith was taken back without accountability. We hope management reviews the 9:02 AM call recording, because that will tell the whole story or even speak to Kimberly that Madison corrected when we checked in. This is making me feel like I can't trust this company. Moving forward I want to record conversations or make sure I have proof or something because their word is not to be trusted. This leaves my amazing birthday/Mother's Day weekend ending in a bad note because of this.

I definitely recommend getting an early appointment if possible because the locker room got overcrowded around 12 and I had to wait in the seating area for about 30 minutes to use any amenities in there. The showers, steam room, and hot tub attached to the locker rooms were nice though and the robes they gave us to use were great quality. The pool was also very nice. The facial itself was great but I was not happy with the the staff. When I entered the room, the lady asked me about dermaplaning and if that's what I was there for. I explained that my boyfriend booked the appointment so whatever he paid for was what I was there for. She said okay then asked again to make sure my skin wouldn't have any bad reactions to dermaplaning and did the facial. When we went to check out for the day, the total was more than expected so I asked about the bill. The lady at the desk mentioned dermaplaning was an additional charge. I was definitely annoyed that the first lady tricked me into that for what I assume is a larger automatic tip, but I was also annoyed that the lady at the desk didn't even apologize for the misunderstanding after I explained my frustration. Since my boyfriend paid, I am not sure if the price was worth it in my opinion, but he said that the day at the spa was not worth the price especially after the added gratuity. Overall the spa itself was nice but I didn't appreciate the staff at all. Most likely will not be returning out of spite.

Overall a good massage but I had to ask her twice to decrease the pressure and she also didn't put an eye mask on me when I flipped onto my back, which was awkward. It was also freezing in the room and although she said she put it on warm, it never warmed up. I was ok on the warm table, but when I got up afterwards, it was still as freezing as when I got in. They recently did a renovation and the women's shower area is really nice with big individual frosted glass showers with a dry area in front of the shower so that your things don't get wet. Prior to our massages, we enjoyed the co-ed pool area which is for spa guests only, 18+. This was a relaxing area with several water features with different pressures that you could stand under. They also had two small pools to the left which was a cold plunge and a hot plunge (no jets). The views of the mountains were so relaxing and the waiter Daniel was highly available for you to order food and drinks if wanted. Then I went to the women's only area to shower. They offer the most amazing smelling salt scrub (complementary) that makes your skin so soft. Don't forget to grab a bowl! The attendants in the women's area were so helpful. In this area was also a steam room, sauna and an area to dump a bucket of cold water on yourself. They also had 3 heated beds that you can lay on for 10 minutes before your treatment. After the massage, you go in a co-ed sanctuary and lay on a bed with a weighted blanket with noise canceling headphones for 25 minutes. This bed also vibrates to the sounds you choose. One side of my headphones wasn't working unfortunately. After, this led into a co-ed lounge. The hot water maker was already put away (at 5:06pm when they close at 6pm) so I couldn't make myself a cup of tea afterwards - especially when I still felt freezing, which was really disappointing. I expected more for $295 - better snacks and tea available until closing time. I don't think that is a lot to ask for. With so many spas in the area, if ever back in Scottsdale, we don't plan to return.

I really wanted to do the Hammam ritual here so I saved up for a long time. I enjoyed it and felt…read moregreat when it was done but I feel like it wasn't thoughtfully crafted and probably only worth about half of what they charged. The first part is to go into what they call a private warming Hammam room, but the warming room is actually not private and is open to everyone using the sauna. There is a private treatment room, and I think this is really what you are paying a small fortune for--to lie down on a 200-year-old authentic Cherrywood Hammam table for an exfoliation scrub. The table itself is beautiful but not very comfortable--it's high up, so hard to get onto, and--like all wood tables--is very hard. Next you are supposed to go through a self-guided journey through the steam, sauna, whirlpool, warming room again, and cold deluge. They have a recommended circuit but there is no way to actually follow the times on it because you only have 25 minutes (and it took me 5 to get my swimsuit back on). I think I was expecting to be able to spend this time focusing on the experience, but it felt more like I was rushing through the steps in time while hanging out in the spa with everyone else, trying to run through all of the steps in time. Finally, the website says this ends with a massage with CBD or arnica oil. This is in a separate room and on a regular and more comfortable table. Mine was just a regular massage, no oils, though I got to choose between lavender and eucalyptus scents. They do have fun add-ons, like shea butter or cupping or hot stones, but those don't add additional time, so you're paying extra to have a massage take less time so they can add on the other thing you paid for. But if you go during your birthday month you get a free add-on. Anyway, my massage therapist was really good but not $580 good.(I don't know if anyone could be!) There are a lot of spas hat are supposed to be for intentional purposes--like a place to put a rock selected for its qualities, or you can put your hand on an enormous crystal imported from Brazil. But they kind of rush you through this part and it doesn't really seem to be designed with care. For example, there is a fountain outside to put the rock that you see before you even receive a rock. It's not clear that you're supposed to pick it up on the way out. There is no clock in the room where you wait for your appointment. The hooks to hang your robe or towel are and there aren't enough hooks for the number of people. Etc. Overall I think $580 is way overpriced for what is offered, which is basically a scrub and massage and the same spa amenities as everyone else. I was also disappointed by the snack selection--they just had trail mix and dried mangos. I guess I am spoiled because I've been to Aji Spa, which has the most amazing selection of snacks and you can get a wrap and massage for roughly half the price. And it's really somewhere you want to hang out at all day. The food menu on the website is also out of date--I'd decided what I wanted to order ahead of time but it wasn't available. So overall I felt like this ritual didn't have the attention and care I would expect for something this expensive. I am glad I treated myself to this experience but would not do it again.

On upside I got to try every activity here lol and it wasn't too crowded (and they give you bathrobes and lockers and stuff), but on other hand it did seem expensive bordering on pretentious to me a bit. She was extremely kind, and gave me guidance on where the pool was located. My massage treatment was very relaxing and my therapist got all the tension out of neck. After my massage, I went to the pool and relaxed with a book for the rest of the afternoon. I enjoyed some tacos & frose, and had an amazing afternoon!

Entering the spa itself, you're greeted and asked to wait in the waiting area until they call you. When you're called it, you're escorted to your spa room. I was given a spacious room because the tub and the massage table were in one. The soak experience was a claw tub already filled with a bubble bath. You're given a bath bomb to include, if you choose. I found the tub to have extremely hot water, so I had to drain it a bit and cool the water temp a bit. If you're a fan of a soak, this is for you. If you're not a fan of baths/soaks, then don't do this. The massage therapist gave me a knock to tell me soak time was up and I was to get on the table. The massage was the best part. The therapist had heavy hands, as I requested. She worked problem areas and I felt such relief after. Once it was all done, you had time to get dressed and leave. The showers in the room did t work, so you had to forgo that. You're given a beverage after and you're on your way. Overall, it was a great experience, a little pricy, but worth it. Staff was friendly and the spa was clean. I felt my back stay loose for a week after that, my masseuse was that great!

The staff is very nice and accommodating at the spa. At the pool, not sure if they were short staffed or if the waitress was not great. She seemed annoyed. It was very hot so maybe it was just the heat. My massage was good but I wasn't prepared for the stretching that was included. I'm used to spas being more of a relaxed feeling. This was not that.

I received a robe and slides. I immediately felt the serenity and calming nature of my surroundings. Maria was incredible and so accomodating throughout my stay. There are showers, bathrooms, sanitary products, razors, and blow dryers. I left my belongings in my locker when I went to the pool area. There is a specific code for each locker that you set. There is also a fitness center to enjoy as well. The path to the massage areas is partially outdoors. My massage was fantastic. Very peaceful and the pressure was mild. I love the lavender accent. After my massage, I showered at the facility in order to get ready for my dinner reservation at the Elements restaurant. Overall amazing, peaceful and relaxing experience!
