I was impressed to see they carry Botkier, instead of the typical Hobo/Tory Burch selection. For jewelry, they carry the omnipresent NYC Me&Ro jewelry, but manage to balance it out by also featuring to local jewelry designers. One of the local designers is displayed on a low coffee table and should be moved to a higher spot for better viewing. The only thing I am not a fan of is the dressing room. I know the curtained dressing room is easy to build, but it sucks for the customer. The curtains never offer complete privacy and I more than once I have had salespeople at others stores yank back the curtain without warning. Combined with the fact that you have to come out of the room to look in the mirror... :(. I like this store because I think they have a good eye for buying. They should do well. The parking lot is still a massive disaster IMO, especially with how it bottlenecks at the entrance, though to be fair to them, I'm not sure what else they could do to fix it. What does work here is that the lot is huge so you'll at least find a spot, even if it's a tad bit stressful getting in and out. Now, why bump my rating up to four stars? Primarily because they've done a really excellent job of continuing to improve this location. Everytime Target seems to come out with a redesign this spot gets it pretty fast, and not only do they implement it seamlessly but all redesigns seem to really work here. Now, this Target is no longer my primary Target, but I do still visit here from time to time and one other thing it has going for it is that I feel like I have fewer issues here in general. It could be the nature of me not coming here as frequently, but I can't think of a time that I've had a negative interaction with a staff member, them being out of stock with something, or waiting too long at checkout. Overall, once you get past the parking, I think this is a very solid Target, and it's super conveniently located once you pop off of the highway as well.

I had to play the send it back and forth game with Zappos because the sizing is a little different. For my subsequent pairs, I will just visit The Foot Spot. Yay! We understand the limit of returns/exchanges is 30 days and under normal circumstances do understand the policy. We were given the New Balance phone number which we appreciated but I would have expected the store to take a more active role in addressing this with New Balance on our behalf. We purposely bought locally to support business in Lee's Summit but given this experience, we might as well buy on-line.

However, new doesn't mean inexperienced or poor service in this case. Staffed with an exceptional group of dedicated runners, they'll personally take the time to fit you with exactly the right shoe for your running style. I've bought two pairs of shoes there, my wife has bough one pair, and each time they've sat down with us and been completely ok with taking 30-45 minutes to make sure we get the right shoe. I fight shin splints and the staff able to quickly diagnose my gait style and help me select a shoe that proved to remedy my ailment and keep me running. Shoes are expensive, but Garry Gribbles constantly offers clearance deals and specials so you don't have to buy improper shoes out of budget considerations. Also a great place to meet other runners, they offer a pretty solid calendar of races and events around town. OH, and they stock my favorite socks in the world, Injini's, which just makes me all kinds of happy camper. They recently started carrying Vibram's Five Fingers, which perhaps seems like a counter-intuitive move for a running shoe store, but Gribbles is all about making your runs better and seems to have a service first, money second attitude. I can't recommend them highly enough, if you're a runner, walker, or person with legs and feet, you NEED to stop by Garry Gribbles.

I was told I could pick them up in 3 days for a charge of about $18. I'm so impressed with the result! The toplifts look and feel sturdy. Even the scraped heels looks better after the damaged areas have been blackened to match the rest of the heels. Will return to Renner's for my future shoe repair needs and recommend them to anyone else!
