Overview: such great service, delicious chai latte and huge portion, super cute coffee truck ---- Chai Latte ($8) - great flavor - perfect sweetness - creamy texture of drink (not watered down) - not sure how many ounces but it was big! ---- They were catering UCSD commencement ceremonies and were the only coffee place there. Line can get long but moves fast! Staff were super friendly and their coffee truck was so cute. They offer a large variety of drinks, including smoothies, protein coffee, and sugar-free options. They also sell pastries for $5 such as muffins, croissants, and what looks like danishes ---- Overall: if I see this little cute coffee truck at another event I'll return for their yummy chai latte!

I loved my Rush Coffee experience today at the Holiday Market hosted by Golden Door Country Store. I ordered an iced Americano with some half n half and it was perfect. The barista gave me a glass of espresso over ice which was just what I like- an americano with no water so I can taste the flavors of the espresso beans. Thank you!

The vanilla frappe was super sweet and honestly tasted like just vanilla milk. The service was okay but in the middle of placing our order, the cashier turned to have a conversation with his coworker for a few minutes. The truck itself was super cute. The drinks were a bit pricey but other comparable places are often similar.

I got an iced mocha with almond milk! I usually add sugar to my coffee drinks but this was the perfect sweetness. The service was good too. The truck is really cute and my drink was ready quickly even when they were busy.

I ordered the butterscotch latte and my girls ordered hot chocolate. Everything was wonderful!!! The drinks were great and the woman that took our order was so nice! We will definitely come back to try some different drinks.

Food trucks can be blah, bad at times, or magic! I see The Rush Coffee food truck as a little bit of magic. I was attending the fifth anniversary celebration of the founding of a local church in my community and The Rush Coffee was one of two food trucks on location to help us celebrate. As you see from the photos the truck itself has a very eye-appealing color but the best part comes when you order. I didn't see white mocha latte on the menu but inquired, found out it was available, and ordered it! Chari, my order taker/barista had incredible friendliness and courtesy, which always helps the appeal of a coffee outlet. My white mocha, though it tasted different from others I've had, was a tad over-sweetened but certainly not enough feel it was all sugar with a little coffee in it - that's generally the Starbucks formula. OK, honestly, I'll give my recent experiences with Starbucks a better score as things have gotten better! But I will say that I do like The Rush Coffee and would most certainly try it again if I see this food truck in my area. It is grade "A" on inspections and from what you can see on the outside in, it's very clean overall. It was just part of a good day that contributed a little more awesome to it! Recommend: HIGH

The Coffee Rush happened to be at the Hillcrest Farmer's Market. I learned that they are there on a regular basis these days which is a good thing because they do make some good espresso beverages. I had a Caffè Macchiato and it was a well made. It was a little heavy on the foam, but otherwise it was very good. The flavor of the espresso was just right. It offered strength up front but then settled to a nice smoothness. The two young ladies running the place were both very nice and friendly.

We often get notices from our apartment complex that food trucks will be on property from time to time. On a bright, hot Saturday, The Rush Coffee was here for a couple hours during the morning. The owner handled everything and you've got to hand it to him, working outside in the heat. It's been unseasonably hot and humid this last week and we San Diegans are not used to humidity. I ORDERED: Iced, caffeinated drinks that were done very well. 1) An Iced Chai Tea Straight Up with almond milk for my lactose intolerant tummy and a Big Blue Blueberry Muffin to go with it. 2) An Iced Chai Tea with almond milk, pump of caramel and cinnamon on top, plus a Big, Beautiful Cheese Danish. The menu also includes real fruit smoothies, Italian sodas, every kind of caffeinated drink you can dream up, and even whole roasted coffee beans. They also sell merchandise that has their logo on it, such as Baseball Caps and T-Shirts. Service is very efficient and friendly. I walked up when it wasn't busy and had a chance to meet the owner and chat with him a little about his coffee business and the economy. Very nice and easygoing guy. I honestly can't even being to explain how thankful I am for The Rush Coffee!!! They went above and beyond to help me and my company out. While I don't recommend putting in a last minute request a few hours before you need them at an event, this is exactly what I did and they saved the day. Claire was so kind, responsive, and easy to work with. I would recommend them to literally anyone and everyone. Whether you're booking them for an event or out getting coffee, choose them!!! Oh Claire, what a gem! She breathes new life into our rough Monday and Friday mornings. Her coffee is fresh with good flavor, many syrup options, standard creamers and also dairy substitutes like almond milk! She has plenty of other beverages, too. She also has treats like fresh muffins and scones for purchase. Her condiment and stirrer/napkin counter is always clean and well-stocked. On top of all that goodness, she's so sweet and always has a pretty smile on her face. I hope she keeps coming to our little business complex for a long time. I'm spreading the word to neighboring buildings to make this one of her busiest spots! Claire's visits are much needed and loved. read more

My (now) husband and I love coffee, and wanted to do something special for our guests in regards to the coffee service at our wedding. We had the pleasure of having The Rush Coffee cater our coffee bar and it was awesome! Our guest really loved it and couldn't stop talking about it even days after the wedding. We took the extra step of creating our own re-usable travel coffee tumblers for our guests as our giveaway and The Rush was super accommodating and excited to use them. Claire was friendly, responsive, and flexible throughout the process and super patient with the timeline changes the venue requested. Overall, a dream to work with! These baristas were at Legoland this past week inviting all the employee up to the line in seconds. We had the drinks and pastries before we could blink. Kindness and more kindness. We asked Rush Coffee to support an outside event for our office. They came on time (early, actually) delivered exactly as promised with excellent drinks and fresh pastries, and even stayed late - after closing up and beginning to drive off - because a few more people wanted drinks! Where do I start? I was introduced to The Rush when they came to do an employee appreciation event at my company. Their drinks were incredible and I loved the idea of getting to spoil my clients with coffee/tea/smoothies with little effort on my part so I hired them to visit a few of my best clients. That setup quickly became sending them every other week to 1-5 companies to offer their employees delicious morning treats. The feedback I get from every company I send them to is amazing. Their drinks are delicious, the pastries are yummy and the kind and fun attitudes of the owners and their staff are appreciated by me and my clients beyond measure. EVERY outside sales rep should hire them at least once per quarter to do rounds and visit their biggest spenders. They are easy to work with and make it so simple for me to just direct them to the places I'd like them to visit. I cannot say enough great things about this company and its owners. Without going into too much detail, they even spoiled the caretakers of one of my family members recently in a way that touched my heart so completely. It's obvious in every interaction I have with them that they value their work, stand by their products, truly care about others and will do whatever it takes for their clients to have a wonderful experience with them. So glad The Rush coffee truck started servicing the parking lot of my work's business park! It always brightens my Friday morning to see the truck parked outside. I'm really not much of a coffee drinker so I usually just go to grab a pastry (the banana nut muffins never fail). There's typically a few people in line when I go but I never have to wait long. The truck itself is super cute and VERY clean and the girl taking orders and making coffee is always really nice. The only reason I'm rating The Rush 4 stars instead of 5 is because I got a chai tea latte once and it was pretty pricey but it was an average latte, nothing special. Hopefully The Rush continues to grow in popularity and continues to serve my work lot. Yay for small businesses!!!! read more

Our cafeteria at work was closed for two weeks resulting in food trucks coming to our location. I wasn't very excited because typically that means more money coming out of my pocket. I decided to give this place a shot as the menu intrigued me when I saw an Italian bull - a Red Bull mixed with Italian soda. The gals running this truck were incredible. So nice and helpful and the coffee was amazing. The Italian bulls did not disappoint, and had quite a few flavors to try from allowing you to mix and match to your hearts desire. I'll definitely be following this truck to order a drink again! read more

The Rush Coffee truck is amazing! They recently started coming to my work every Tuesday and it brightens up my whole week! The owner is so nice and sweet! They have delicious frappes: vanilla, mocha, and pumpkin spice are the ones that I have tried. They are all good but my favorite is the pumpkin spice. Seriously the best frappe I've ever had. They are blended perfectly, the coffee is great, and they have just the perfect amount of sweetness! I have also purchased their coffee cake which was the best decision I made this week as it was the best coffee cake I've had. I'm always a happy camper when I get their coffee and pastries! I love the Rush Coffee! They stop by our work twice a week and they're always the nicest! They give good quality drinks, make them pretty quickly, and they're very accommodating. They offer almond milk, which I appreciate and they also offer seasonal drinks. They send out text alerts (if you sign up to receive them) when they arrive and they even text out coupons sometimes which is awesome! As a family and locally-owned business by started by Claire, a resident of San Elijo Hills, The Rush Coffee’s mission is to literally put the best coffee shop delights, drinks and eats at the fingertips of customers no matter where they might be. With the strong belief in the power of community, The Rush Coffee sources their coffee locally, serves locally and gives back locally.

Meet the Business Owner: Claire O.

Claire first moved to North County in 1998 from a small town in Central Oregon and instantly fell in love with the authentic and one-of-a-kind easy San Diego culture. Claire felt at home with the small town feel of the North County region, and started working at a small drive-through coffee shop in Encinitas in 1999. It was here that she realized her love for serving coffee to others was greater than her love for drinking it. This is also where she met her husband, Parsegh. Together they've built Claire's dream of owning her own coffee shop, she just never imagined it would be on wheels!

I also ordered the Berry & Cream Cheese Toast, which was the real MVP. Again, it wasn't overly sweet, and they nailed the ratio. There was a perfectly even, generous spread of cream cheese and berry topping. Highly recommend! Revolution Roasters is located in a super cool, market-style space filled with other neat little shops. It makes for a great, lively atmosphere. When we walked in, the line was pretty long--clearly, the secret is out. But don't let a crowd deter you! The service was incredibly smooth and helpful, and they've got the operation down to a science. Plus, despite the crowd, there was actually adequate seating for a ton of people. We didn't have to play the awkward "hover around a table until someone leaves" game. While the vibes are immaculate, there is one tiny logistical hurdle. For a coffee shop that gets this busy, there is only one bathroom. If you've just downed a large iced brew, you might have to practice some patience. All in all, Revolution Roasters ground its way into our good graces. Between the smooth service, the cool market atmosphere, and food that hits the spot, I could definitely see us filtering back in here again soon. Whether you love coffee or you're just there for the toast, it's well worth a visit!

I got the honey toast with ice cream, and I remember honey toast being crispy but still easy to eat. This one wasn't crispy at all and the bread was tough. Overall, this place is reall good for matcha drinks.

The walls are decorated with framed black & white photos of hip hop / rap artists. After making our drinks, the cashier quizzed us on our hip hop artist knowledge :) If you grew up in the 80s-90s, this place will take you back to the golden days of hip hop/rap.
