Wait: Varies, but usually under 5 min. Food: They have a variety of cafe foods (sandwiches, scones, etc) all of which are always satisfying. Their drinks also never disappoint. This is probably the best coffee on campus, if not San Marcos. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. When they see a long line they take initiative and take orders of those not at the front for efficiency. They also care to remember their regular's orders. This just shows how much they care about their customers. Support your local businesses, everyone! Sorry Starbucks, but please move out of the way

Okay I took everyone's advice on yelp and tried the iced chai tea latte. And wow it was fire. Probably the best drink I've tried here. It's very smooth and has great flavor ! Kind of taste like a milk tea with cinnamon. It's definitely a must try !

Love the Cougar paw print in my latte!

Always very nice, good sandwiches and their dirty chai with almond milk is amazing! I prefer this place to any other coffee shop on campus.

They have the best Mexican hot chocolate I have ever had! I highly recommend going here for your drinks rather than the Starbucks on campus.

Mike and the entire team at Dreamwave are doing such an incredible job of making the experience worth every penny. The quality of the coffee, the work they do, and the service they provide is truly top tier. While they do have a lot of fun flavors, this is not the kind of place that drowns the palate with sweetness. They expertly balance the ratio of syrup, milk, and espresso to provide the best outcome. The nuttiness of their roast really shines, and they're always happy to adjust the sweetness if you need them to. Personally, I love the lower sweetness level being the default. These guys know what they're doing! We've been visiting for the past week and have stopped through Dreamwave four times this week. While I'm always in the need of a coffee fix, we've gone out of our way to visit multiple times because the people have been so beyond kind. We've sampled most of the house flavors and I can confidently say they have all been delicious. This would definitely be my go-to shop if I lived nearby.

The taro bingsoo was super light and fluffy. Not overly sweet, which I actually appreciated. It's definitely a good shareable dessert, especially if you want something refreshing instead of heavy. The taro with creme brulee was the standout for me though. The layers were really pretty, and once mixed, it had that creamy taro flavor with a slight caramelized richness from the brûlée topping. It felt a little more elevated than your typical taro milk tea.

I asked why what was being offered didn't match what was advertised on the menu. The employee looked at me like I was the one speaking nonsense, then hit me with a shrug and, "I don't make the rules." Cool. You may not make the rules, but someone sure made this menu--and apparently nobody bothers to make sure it matches reality. If your customers need a decoder ring to figure out what's actually available versus what's printed, that's not a customer problem. That's a business problem. Do better. Or at the very least, update the menu so it stops catfishing people. Seriously... WTF."

When I walked in, the kiosks weren't working, so ! waited at the front for someone to take my order. Instead, all I could hear was an older lady loudly screaming at one of the employees. It was loud enough that I could hear everything from the front counter, and it honestly gave me secondhand embarrassment. The employee was being embarrassed in front of everyone in the store, which made for a really uncomfortable atmosphere. Because of the confusion, I ended up ordering through their website instead. Unfortunately, the drink was disappointing. They added a huge scoop of strawberry syrup that completely overpowered the drink. I went there to try Matcha Maiko's matcha, not a cup full of strawberry syrup. On top of that, the syrup wasn't even mixed in properly, so l kept getting mouthfuls of syrup at the bottom I was really looking forward to trying this place, but between the uncomfortable experience in the store and the poorly made drink, it wasn't the experience I had hoped for.
