They were all good especially the brisket sandwich. The meat was very tender and juicy. I love that they used fresh arugula and pickled onion which balanced well with the meat. The tuna melt was very tasty as well. The sourdough bread was well toasted adding some crunchiness. I'll definitely go back for more.

The mixed berry smoothie wasn't sweet (which i was ok with it) but it had way more milk or yogurt in it than how I liked it. It's very milky rather than fruity taste. Overall, I'd say it's a 3.5 star experience for me.

Arriving with a pretty presentation, the pancakes themselves are like nothing I've ever had. They're uniform and golden brown, fluffy but chewy and dense at the same time. They come with the syrup already poured, but somehow the pancakes did not become soggy. The poached apple still had a bit of a crunch to it. Great, friendly service. After your meal, go to the front cashier to pay your bill. With 13k followers on Instagram, Hale & Hearty does not disappoint!

All the produce used in the food is fresh and most likely of organic origins (which I'm guessing on the decor and vibe). Simple and clear menu has some classics like a Chicken Schnitzel but done with a humble salad and chipotle that transports your tastebuds. Breakfast has some healthy-ish options but these are taken in consideration with the core component of the meal. Take the Bacon and Egg Roll, it's served as a burger and the barbecue sauce commands the dish. Cakes and pastry is sold as eat-in and take away items (which change every so often), coffee and milkshakes as well. The gingerbread is a favourite of mine - super refreshing for the sinus. At the end of the day, this is a humble little place that 's rustic feel and pastel interiors make it feel homely and the food cements this feeling. A place to return for sure.
