My husband brought his truck to have the catalytic converter replaced, we bought a new catalytic…read moreconverter and brought it to them to cut the old one out and weld the new one in. Something that should have been simple to do. Instead the one guy let at the shop to work, tries taking shortcuts and rather then take out the O2 sensors first and the cut the converter loose, he attempts to use a torch to cut it out and ruins an O2 sensor. So we them had to spend all Friday afternoon going from one parts house to another til we found an O2 sensor (an extra $75 we should not have had to spend!!!) Not to mention my husband said he dropped the new catalytic converter twice, so now we're not sure if it's been damaged too. And to top it all off this guy is completely hacked up the job. The cutting was lousy and the welding is twice as lousy. He had to be corrected from welding up mistakes a few times. After two days waiting for them to finish this hack job, my recommendation is DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! Everything they do is sloppy, they have absolutely no care of pride in their work. Now we will be bringing the truck to someone else to get this hack job fixed.

Some things seem a little high where others are pretty decent. Batteries...!!! When did they start making batteries out of freaking Kryptonite!? We paid 1/2 for the camper to be moved from Michigan to Alabama. There was a potential hurricane and we waited 4 days and notified Blue Compass. Was told "We don't know why it is not here and we don't have the delivery persons name or number" Really? Called the next day and was told "It's in a little town outside Nashville" Called the next day and was told by Rodney that "I expect it here this afternoon" Explained to him that we were taking off from work to have the hitch placed on vehicle. He said he would call me back by 5pm. He did not call back and I called the following morning. I was informed that Rodney called out sick and Tyler was off. I asked to speak with someone in charge. The general manager Keith Taylor was in store. He stated he is the general manager of the Mobile and Montgomery store. He called back and stated, "Corporate pulled the sale because it should have never gotten that far. We will lose $3000. " So, we waited 8 days for them to not honor our legally binding contract. I asked that someone from corporate call me and I have not heard from anyone. We did get our deposit back and that is about all. DO NOT buy from this RV store.

The mechanic saw me an elderly woman coming in for an oil change & break pads for front passenger breaks. They charged me over $300 & then told me I needed a new caliper. Then he called Heritage & they promised to send my part to Fast Lube. All of this after they charged my card for $250. Fast Lube said they never got the part. Heritage said they delivered it. They sent me a picture of an open box sitting in front of a closed bey door. No writing on the box to prove it was from them & nothing on the wall or bay doo saying where they took it. I called Heritage & the guy refused to refund my money fo a part he says was delivered. I have since taken my car to the dealership only to be told I did not need a new caliper as there was nothing wrong with the old one. The manager at Fast Lube said he would call the owner & get this straightened out. After numerous calls & visits to both businesses I have still not gotten my money. Apparently these people care nothing about their reputation. But then, liars never do.

Purchased a used van door for over $600. The sole good thing about it, the door was for the most…read morepart, rust free. Purchased on Ebay, Heritage provided several photo's. Either this was a bait and switch, their door photo and the Ebay description was absent reference to a Federal Express logo or any logo. Logo's once on the door, after being removed, bleed thru new paint with their outline, as the glue affects future paint coverings, unless you strip the door down to metal, re prime and apply finish coat and hardener. Had this been made known, I would have offered less on the door. Additionally the electrical switches for the window were toast. I don't as of this writing know if the lock and window actuators work...... So when I questioned the lack of disclosure, requesting a $75 credit from Heritage to Ebay, Heritage accused me of fraud. What I should have done, was look at the negative responses thru the BBB, Ebay and this site here. They appear to have some substantial problems with honesty, following thru....
