I've been to my share of food trucks in my day. Recently, this truck started posting up near my work at the corner of 17th street and Santa Ana Ave. After seeing half our staff constantly stuffing their faces with delicious looking Mexican food, I decided to give it a whirl! They offer a variety of menu items that all look delicious. My coworker swears by the quesadilla that looked stuffed with carne asada! I've only got the tacos and don't see the need to venture any further as I'm so happy every time I get them! The Al Pastor is the best I've had EVER! Tacos are better than any brick and mortor place in town! The salsa is really where it's at! Can thank you guys enough for parking next to our place! A must try!!!

Everything is good, the tacos are great and the taquitos are awesome. They have several sales to choose from and I like the green and also the orange. If there was something we could but in the "bad" category it would be that they don't have a traditional red Mexican salsa. I highly recommend that you order the chicken tacos and also the chicken taquitos. My wife, the kids and even grandma loved them. This place is awesome and I hope you check them out.

I had salsa grill tacos on Friday! I spotted them after a grocery trip to Vons. They were parked on the side of Vons.They took my order and completed it pretty quickly! We love Salsa Grill and eat from the truck often. Have had most of the meats they offer. The taquitos are more like a flauta (flour tortillas) but the pollo asada they put inside is divine!! Highly recommend and love that the truck has been local to us during the week!! read more

Trompo al pastor on point! They're currently parked behind the Jiffy Lube on Victoria/Newport, Costa Mesa. Thought it was pretty random but I always saw a line of people every time I drove by so I gave it a try! Simple menu of your Mexican food go-to's; tacos, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, etc. My favorite protein they got is trompo al pastor, roasted pork on a spit -as in the spit the spins around and cooks meat, not the saliva that drools from your mouth ;) But their tripa is great too! Price is great, food quality awesome, and the gal taking orders is sweet. Seems like a little family run truck which is another +++ You won't be disappointed! read more

OMG this Friday I was with my girl Mateo we went out for some tacos yet alone thinking this taco truck was good well I wouldn't even Service this to my dog and guys let me say this place had a Employee fighting a Customer physically like what the fuck is this really happening they should have some type of Security never coming back here if y'all not around the area don't wanna come here I thought it was going be good but very Disappointing read more

$22 for a simple plate of tacos. There are no prices list anywhere, so good luck figuring things out. Food was average at best. Value was terrible. Half the food for twice the price. read more

The best tacos around, they're currently in Costa Mesa off of Bay Street (by Tony's place Bar). My favorite is the Al Pastor burrito with both of their green salsas. They actually grill the burrito which prevents it from getting soggy, and you can't beat the price $8, I've gone to other trucks that charge more for smaller portions & not as tasty. My wife always gets Chicken tacos, the meat is tender & full of flavor. I've already mentioned this place to a lot of friends & coworkers. They're honestly the best tacos around. read more

The best tacos in the area! We've had tacos de asada, al pastor, buche, and chorizo. I'd say the chorizo and al pastor are my favs. We've also had their taquitos made with chicken and we've also had them with suadero. It's a must try. Their hot dogs are also very delicious. I haven't tried much, but they have a big selection of deliciousness. I can't wait to try more read more

They were at my apartment complex and I didn't want to make anything for dinner. Pro: Their food truck came to me. I got the burrito with carne asada / rice / salsa / sour cream for $8 and it was huge. I liked the salsa area in front to choose your own sauce. Good selection of Mexican food to choose from - your basic taco food truck(I've had many taco trucks in SA n LA, they can compete for quality). My partner and I found this truck while bar hopping in Costa Mesa over a month ago. We've been going every other Friday. We went this past Friday and witnessed something VERY traumatic. It seemed like a vehicle was trying to leave the plaza but was blocked by a couple of employees of this food truck. It seemed like the employees started to verbally attack the two gentlemen in the vehicle. In a matter of seconds a giant crowd of men came and attacked the gentleman in the passenger seat of the truck. I've never seen anything like this in my life. My partner and I heard tasers going off in the rumble of men. I was mortified. Please do not support this business. read more

I go weekly or twice a week sometimes good is good . A little overpriced but not all that much. I have been seeing some crazy comments and I personally would not have believed it. Unfortunately I did witness a young adult I want to say at least 18 who was getting hit but a lot of the employees. Don't know what may have caused it but if the young adult did something extreme couldn't they have held him down? Instead of viciously attacking him. read more

While waiting for my order, I noticed him talking to his coworkers in the back while looking over at me, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I eventually called him out because there was no reason to treat a paying customer that way. Everyone has stressful days, but that's not an excuse to be rude or mock customers for placing an order. The food may be good, but customer service matters just as much. I hope management addresses this because no customer should feel embarrassed or disrespected simply for ordering food.

The flavor was good, but the texture wasn't quite what we're used to. The inside was a little chewy and soft, whereas we prefer a crispier, hollow-style churro. As for the food, the Baja Fish Burrito was excellent--crispy fish with plenty of fresh vegetables. The California Burrito was also very tasty and packed with generous chunks of steak. Anyways heed my warning - at those price points for *certain* premade items - just take your ass to Erewhon - at least I expect my ass is going to hurt when I leave.

I don't recommend and I don't see a world where I'll ever pay my hard earned money to dine at this place again. Easy fixes - this place just needs a little bit of "try".

Im never going here again about a week ago i saw a bunch of people going up against a kid props to the kid he stayed standing against all of em even after getting tazed and shit and i under stand its a family buisness but seems more gang related and it seems like its a drug cover up buisness so i aint supporting your community anymore sorry but you lost a customer seems more gang related and they posted up on their instagram saying that they were being harrased or something and in complete honesty looked more like an execution against the fellow and now im seeing videos of this tramautic experience i had thanks to bobby... and atleast i know i wasnt the only one scarred by this taco truck i just hope the kid is alright. read more

My wife and I came across this food truck walking our dog. We love street dogs and great tacos. Our first time we both ordered the street dogs and it was absolutely delicious.
