Salty Donut has quickly become one of my favorite places to satisfy a sweet craving! As someone who enjoys vegan treats, I absolutely love their vegan donuts. They are always fresh, flavorful, and honestly, to die for. One thing I appreciate is that they seem to rotate their flavors regularly, which keeps things interesting and gives me something new to look forward to. Every vegan donut I've tried has been delicious and thoughtfully made. My only wish is that they offered a few more vegan options on a daily basis. Usually, there are only one or two choices available, and it would be amazing if they consistently had two or three vegan flavors at each location. With how good their vegan donuts are, I know there would be plenty of customers excited to try them. Even with the limited selection, I still find myself coming back because the quality is outstanding. I came in to get 2 donuts to-go to surprise my mom and grandma since they love sweets. The salty donut was very clean and tidy inside. I liked how all of the donuts were on display and easily visible through the window. The cashier who took my order was very kind. She boxed up the white chocolate tres leches and the whipped Nutella crunch in two separate boxes. It was $10 for both donuts. I asked for a bag. These donuts tasted AMAAAAAZING!! The whipped frosting on the tres leches was so creamy and delicious. Nutella is one of my favorite sweets so that donut did not disappoint either. Meowza! I can't get enough of their strawberry pop-tart pastry!! I know this spot is known for their donuts, and yes their donuts are delish, but I so enjoyed that pop-tart pastry!! Inside the shop, there are a few tables which is nice if you want to hang out for a bit, nothing too cozy as it seems most people come in to snag their take-out orders. Easy metered parking or garages nearby with lots of restaurants and grab and go places to walk around. The donuts have great flavor and also hold well throughout the day. I ordered late in the afternoon and the donut was still super soft and flavorful. Staff was very friendly and helpful in deciding top choices and even let me know about local discounts! I've been on a matcha latte kick lately (not just because matcha is trending -- I've been smart to matcha since 2015 but right now I've been vibing with it as an afternoon alternative to coffee; I save the heavy caffeine for the first half of the day) When I saw there was a speciality (banana cold foam) matcha latte it immediately caught my attention and it did not disappoint. What I really appreciated was that it was a very mild and subtle sweetness. I can't stand when places just load sugar or syrup up to make it "taste good" versus staying true to the authentic flavors with a light sweetening, and this comes exactly as I like it without an modifications needed. I'm a huge Strawberry matcha fan so changing it up took a lot, but it was definitely worth expanding the pallet for. The cheesecake donut looked delicious but I showed self restraint (I try to avoid sugary anything just in general unless I'm really treating myself on a special occasion) The area is nice to work out of as well; true cafe vibes that you can relax at comfortably. I can sit here and do my work. Happily there are two clean unisex private restrooms. I checked in at the register and ordered a doughnut and cappuccino. The donuts were so beautiful and looked so good that it was difficult to choose just one. My brown buttered doughnut was amazing, large, fresh and cake like. My salted caramel iced cappuccino with almond milk was perfect. This is the place to start the day or even in the day as they're open from 7 AM until 7 PM. I loved this drop in event! I had not been to this part of city place, and was excited to visit Salty, as I know their goods are delicious! There was garage parking nearby on Hibiscus, and the first hour is free! It was a lovely Tuesday so I parked and walked over. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile, and even though the place was empty at the time, it was welcoming. Plenty of indoor seating, as well as some tables outside. Clean bathrooms as well. Great display of all the treats, and a large readable menu on the wall. Plenty of donut options to choose from, as well as coffee and tea options. The staff was very nice! I ordered the strawberry pop tart, as I have been seeing it on their IG, and who doesn't love a pop tart ha-ha?! I also got an espresso to wash it down, and I sat outside since the weather was so nice. The pop tart was amazing! So full of filling and it gave me all the nostalgia, but with even better taste!! I have been to the The Salty Donut a few times but this time was the MOST delicious donut I have ever had. (Like, as in, the best of in my entire life and I will dream about it for years to come...) I arrived around 8:00 and the donut counter was completely packed with choices! I ordered a drip coffee with cream and the Cookie Monster donut! This donut was so so so amazing. It was sweet without being too sweet. The cookie dough filling so creamy and delicious. I can't stop thinking about this donut. I can't wait to go back and get this donut. My only criticism is that 8am there only appeared to one employee working. It seemed like she was taking orders, boxing up donuts, and making coffees. It's always a good time at Salty! I went in for a lunch treat and it was a sweet one. There were a few donuts that were sold out since it was midday. You walk in the door you get a nice warm welcome, the place is so cute and it smells delicious. Unfortunately there was only one type of donut left. They ran out of donuts , I was there about little after 6 o'clock, and they only had one type of donut left, and it was the peanut butter and jelly gluten-free. The young lady Michelle was very nice and she explained that it was a very busy day which I am very happy for her and she said to try the strawberry and peanut butter jelly doughnut and I would never ever think it was gluten-free and she was right it was absolutely delicious.!! I visited The Salty Donut today for the WHM Yelp Experience. Braden, the Assistant Store Manager was solo on the scene bright and early for opening hour. I arrived just after fellow Yelpers Jonathan and his sister. Oh, their sweet pup too! I ordered a salted honey cold foam latte, but opted for black cold brew with cold foam. For the donut choice, I selected the Samoas donut. I shared the donut with my two fellow assistants and we all agree it was delicious. I wouldn't opt for the same coffee as the cold foam didn't wow me. Overall, I was very impressed with the excellent customer service, product quality and selection, and the vibe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got lucky and was able to park around the block, but parking can probably be very difficult or at times. I got an iced coffee, which was pretty decent and two donuts. I thought both of them were so so in terms of taste I've had better donuts from other places locally, like in Jupiter. Always a nice treat when I pop into The Salty Donut. I arrived Thursday morning and it was night / day to my last visit. I had came in the late afternoon last time and they were low on doughnuts and a lot of items were sold out. This time, I had so many to choose from! It was fully stocked and the front area looked very aesthetic too with the rows of doughnuts in the display cases. I like how clean the shop is. There is an area of sofa seating, tables inside and outside, as well as some hightop seating that faces the street on the inside. I chose the hightop area. I placed my stuff down and headed to the front cashier. The two guys working this morning were super friendly. I could hear the cashier explaining the doughnuts to customers before me. The other guy making drinks was also very courteous providing me the Wi-Fi password and double checking to see what kind of milk my friend and I ordered with our drinks. I went with the Vanilla Bean cold coffee and a whoopie pie. I also saw a mini description of the whoopie pie on their laminated menu and knew that was exactly what I wanted to have today. I got the whoopie pie instantly and waited for my drink. The items I chose were perfect for a morning bite. Definitely can see how business kept picking up during the time I was there. Women's History Month in full effect! Ironically I've never been to The Salty even though I spend a good amount of time downtown. I'm so happy I had a chance to do this YELP drop-in experience. The menu had a good variety of signature/seasonal donuts, with a few baked good options. Since I stopped in during lunch time, I decided to get the iced matcha + lemonade option and I was skeptical on this but it was AMAZINGLY refreshing & the perfect blend of sweet, earthy, and tart. I chose the guava and cheese donut and it was delicious! The donut was super soft and fresh to be that big in size. The staff were super nice and helpful with me making a decision on what to get. It's in door and out door seating. It was really quiet inside, I will definitely come back to use the space to co-work. The only downside is parking downtown is a bit tricky, when it comes to short term parking. I'd try to make the most of the trip/parking by running a few errands or dropping by some of the other stores while visiting. read more

Friendly experience at the Salty Donut this morning. The manager was the only one there (until 8 he said), but he was pleasant and on top of things. I opted for a hot chocolate with whole milk because I'm not a coffee fan. We had a lovely conversation about how much I don't like coffee, haha. Saw the name Salty Donut and thought, "Interesting name, gotta go inside." When I walked in, two employees greeted me and assisted determining which type of donut would satisfy my sweet tooth. The White Chocolate Pistachio and the Tres Leche were my two picks. Both donuts were moist and had a thick brioche cake type interior with a very sugary icing and slightly hard to slice with the side of a plastic fork. But, where was the Salty part? The employee said that there is no salt in the donuts. After some online research, the business name just means that balancing flavors and textures making a traditional donut into a unique culinary experience. Still unsure what the word Salty has to do with any of that but both donuts were very tasty anyways. They had a variety of fifteen large gourmet donuts each around $4.65 and they offer coffee too. They started off in a pop up trailer before launching their flagship store in Wynwood. There are now 8 locations. They went back to the pop up camper again in West Palm Beach before opening their permanent Salty Donut location in Rosemary Square. Salty Donut has a series of brioche and cake donuts they offer year round and a selection of seasonal flavors. They also sell coffee. They are famous for their brioche dough donuts developed by former head pastry chef Max Santiago who has gone on to open his donut shop, Max'd Out Donuts in Miami. Arguably Salty Donuts most well known donuts are the meringue topped Tres Leches and the Guava and Cheese. I have waited over an hour in Wynwood to get Salty Donuts so it was very refreshing to walk into the Rosemary Square location with no wait and to find that there were still a selection of donuts in the mid afternoon. The new location is bright and airy with a number of tables if you want to sit a spell and get some work done. Of course I had to get the Tres Leches along with a Candied Pistachio and White Chocolate. Donuts are around $5 each but they are massive. Each one is a culinary work of art packed in its own navy colored box. I was so happy to discover I could get my donut fix in West Palm Beach. read more

Nice big display of fresh pasties to have you ordering more than you intended. Cut everything in half items are so rich and flavorful. The Salty Donut is a whole vibe. It's located out the outskirts of city place, making it a popular location for locals. The entire time I was there I saw people popping in for coffees and donuts on the go, coming to sit outside for some relaxation, or working on their computers. I found myself a cozy spot on the couches since I had my daughter and parents with me, and we felt right at home! I was a little bummed because clearly this place is the talk of the town. There was a boat parade, so by the time I got here they only had two flavors of donuts left!!!! I will be returning to try the tres leches in the future, but we ended up buying a banana and cream donut and also the hazelnut crunch. They were both spectacular!!! My mom doesn't even eat donuts, but she completely devoured her donut in a matter of minutes. The donut itself was flaky and delicious , but what I really loved was the filling and the topping. They used different crunchy sweet toppings that paired perfectly with the chocolate filling. I enjoyed this while sipping my iced latte with oat milk and was in pure bliss. The coffee had the right portions of espresso to milk, making it strong but oh so flavorful. Another thing to note is that they offer water glasses and cold water. This is a huge one for me because I often get thirsty while eating something like a donut. I loved being able to grab a glass myself without having to bother anyone. From the 10/10 donuts to the perfectly brewed latte, I understand why it's captured the attention of tourists and locals alike.
