Breakfast sandwich, butter and jam. Both on everything bagels
    Justin S.

The bagels are very thin and well toasted, not a place I'd recommend if you are looking for a more traditional bagel style. The breakfast sandwich was very full and would recommend ordering that one, but the jam on the butter and jam bagel was super super sweet that we couldnt finish it off. The staff was very nice and helpful when ordering Sour Seed received a lot of hype on tiktok and instagram, if you are visiting from out of town and only have a limited number of days to get breakfast, I would not recommend stopping here

This spot was on my list of places to visit in west palm so we went on our first morning to see how it was. I don't think (didn't see) there's any indoor seating which kinda sucks, but there were a lot of side walk tables. Be willing to share if you come across one and it isn't full as there isn't much more seating space. The ordering line isn't clear, but basically make a line in front of the store front without blocking the entrance and order and the large window. The young lady at the window was nice and helped us make our selection from the menu. My wife and I pretty much shared everything food wise since I don't eat much, so we split the bagel for each and got our own drinks. The bagel was good and the cream cheese they put on each half was more than enough. I'd go back just for the bagels again. The hibiscus iced tea could've been made at home though. Nothing special there at all just brewed tea with ice. The seating and tea do pull a star so 4/5.

I finally checked out Sour Seed Bagels in downtown West Palm Beach. Off of Fern, down the street from Johan Joe's, Sour Seed offers delicious bagels with superb service behind the counter. While my initial visit was just before they closed on Sunday afternoon where they just had gluten free bagels, they were absolutely delicious. I ordered mine with some salmon, dill, and red onion, on top of scallion cream cheese. This meal brought me to a place of tremendous well being that I washed down with some tasty cold brew black. Seating wise is purely outside as there are tables set up next to the sidewalk on this deck. It's nice if it's a sunny day and the wind off the intercoastal isn't bad. Because I went there fairly late in their hours, I didn't have to wait in line or wait long for my food. But their staff was on point regardless. Do note that since this is located in downtown West Palm, you will either have to locate a close enough street parking spot near by or go to the garage on Datura in between Dixie and olive. I would come back in a heartbeat to try more of their bagel varieties and different sandwiches.

The main reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because the prices are insane. I can understand and appreciate that the quality of the food at this bagel shop may be better than others, as they use sourdough for their bagels, have homemade syrups for their drinks and their cream cheeses are also made in house. However, I would not say that these are the best bagels I've had in my life. For 4 half portion bagels (so 2 whole bagels), 2 drinks, tax & tip, I spent just shy of $72. There seems to be limited street parking, which you have to pay for of course so that's not a plus. From what I could tell they only had outdoor seating, but the staff is very nice and patient while you decide what you want. They have a good variety of menu options to choose from and you can make substitutions which is a plus. The cashier was also very kind to help make recommendations for what items are popular/her favorites. Since this place is basically a window, there is no indoor space, unless you are a staff member, so the line is formed outside and when you get to the window you can place your order with the cashier and either wait for your order to go or have a seat and it will be brought to you. It was a pretty chilly and windy day when I went, and there was a small line but they got through the line pretty quickly. This place is very fast/casual. In my opinion, I think the bagels should have been softer. They were overly toasted/too crunchy. Our favorite was the tomato + cream cheese bagel with the preserved lemon & Calabrian chili cream cheese. The Palm Beach Fog's were okay, but I would definitely add some sweetener to it as they didn't taste like much without it. I also noticed at the restaurant (and you can see in the drink picture) that they are not consistent with their matcha ratios as one drink was significantly brighter/darker green than the other and they were supposed to be the exact same drink. So maybe other people will have a different opinion on their order. If you scroll to my food picture you will see the following: Top left: Simple Smoked Salmon (sub: Wild Alaskan Cold Smoked Salmon) on an Everything Bagel (half portion) with Scallion Cream Cheese Bottom left: Smashed Avocado on an Everything Bagel (half portion) Bottom right: Simple Smoked Salmon (sub: Wild Alaskan Cold Smoked Salmon) on an Everything Bagel (half portion) with Dill, Parsley & Chive Cream Cheese Top right: Tomato + Cream Cheese on an Everything Bagel (half portion) with Preserved Lemon & Calabrian Chili Cream Cheese The two drinks are small Palm Beach Fogs with the homemade vanilla syrup. Overall I would say while I did leave satisfied (not overly stuffed, but not hungry), spending over $70 on 2 whole bagels with toppings and 2 water based drinks is incomprehensible, and these were not the best bagels I've had.

Just absolutely delicious food! Bagels are incredible and the service is great with a nice cute outdoor ambiance in West Palm Beach. Gluten free bagels too.

The most delicious sourdough bagels. Very crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and fresh. The tomato and scallion cream cheese on everything bagel was juicy and fresh. The combination is divine. The tomatoes were seasoned, and the squeeze of lemon added brightness. The Wild Sockeye Cold Smoked Salmon was delightful. The dill added an herb-ines and freshness, while the salmon was smoky and strong. The lemon was also a great touch of zing. Both bagels were perfect, crispy and savory. Coffee was delicious, not bitter or sour. Items were pretty pricey but quality is worth it. Service was quick and efficient. The outside sitting area was kept clean and organized. Various tables were available for seating.

Absolutely loved the bagels here!! It was so fresh when we got it, it has the perfect amount of crunch. I loved how it didn't make me feel horrible after eating it either. Cute quaint little spot, it gets busy so the earlier the better it is to come and grab your bagels!

Absolutely obsessed. As a New Yorker, I am a harsh critic on a bagel and this met the mark. We tried an everything bagel with butter, the egg salad, and tomato and cream cheese bagel. My favorite was egg salad on everything bagel with the dill parsley cream cheese. ELITE. I woke up each morning and got there right before opening to avoid the long line but honestly worth the wait!!

In the area for a work trip and was looking for a solid Sunday breakfast option. Luckily, this is just around the corner from my hotel. The lines here do get long and I waited 30 minutes just to place my order. However, the team is quick and I received my order in less than 5 minutes. I got an everything sourdough bagel with scallion cream cheese (recommend by the cashier) and salmon. It's a hearty portion of salmon and the scallion cream cheese was an excellent recommendation. I also placed an order for an iced chai with oat-milk. Their chai blend and syrup is made in house and the chai leaned on the spicer side. I would go back to this location, but I don't think I would hop in line on a Sunday and wait for 30 minutes. It's good but not 30 minute wait good. Would plan to go back mid week when it's probably slower and not during a breakfast rush.

I've been hearing about Sour Seed Bagels and decided to give it a try today. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday morning which means finding parking was a mission. I ordered the garden bagel with scallion cream cheese. It was good, but not worth $15. There was barely any cream cheese on it to begin with. I personally prefer H&H Bagels.

There is a reason for standing in line: Fresh Yumminess!!! Disappointed that it is single bagel only, no Baker's Dozen here. Still, it is worthy of your time. The staff bends over backwards to make you feel appreciated. Our bagel sandwiches were stunning.

Love the selection of Gluten Free items! Busy most of the time but service is friendly and efficient. Love the outdoor seating on a nice day.

Bagels are awesome but it is insanely expensive, just paid 18 dollars for just a bagel and no drink.

We spent a couple of hours here so we had a few people assist us, but Brandon was our initial server. I inquired what his favorite dishes are and one of the items he mentioned was the avocado ginger roll. We decided to share this and each order a smoothie. However, we did make a few changes to the roll. First we axed the cucumber and mango. Next, we requested sliced strawberries. This roll was heavenly! The ingredients were ridiculously fresh and the pairing of the textures and tastes are simply dynamite. A true WOW factor! I would return for this item alone! I ordered the banana almond smoothie and the birthday gal ordered the protein star. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our smoothies. Our servers did a fantastic job taking care of our needs and our water glasses were never empty. The restaurant is extremely clean and the layout is fantastic. In fact, there is a whole other side behind the restrooms. There are two single use restrooms. Parking is first some first serve in a parking lot and credit cards are accepted. In summary, Christopher's Kitchen is great and I'll absolutely be back!

I got the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. They were packed with filling which made them a bit difficult to eat but I prefer that over sparse filling. $15 for two tacos is a bit pricey but in general seafood tacos aren't cheap. The tacos came with chips and some fresh pico which was good but difficult to eat as the chips didn't fit inside the little plastic cup.
