The list on the Carson end included a stop at the new Ace Hardware Store, light grocery shopping at Trader Joes, and a Goodwill drop off. I wasn't looking forward to the drive out to the Goodwill on US 50 (towards Dayton) and decided to give this Goodwill Donation X-Press Center a go. As Gayle was out-of-town, that's usually a good time to go through my "treasures" in privacy, including spreading everything out for sorting. From there, I box things up and head to either Goodwill or St. Gals. My "collection" remains manageable, but I still own too much "stuff". It was a quick, friendly, and easy drop off (with receipt), that made me wonder why I had been driving out towards Mound House for so long. This is a compact donation only store front that requires one to open the door and walk in with the donations. That was no big deal and there was help there if I needed it. Leaving it outside the front door (inside or out of open hours) is what I call "dumping" and a big no no.

When the Bomba company sells a pair of socks they donate one. Good Will should be ashamed of themselves that they are making a profit off of this. I wish I realized this before I baught them... it just seems so wrong!
