I don't usually write reviews however this store takes the cake! It's huge and well priced and so fun the employee's are super friendly and helpful. I was asking some questions about the furniture system and this 17yo kid explained it so well and answered all of my questions very informative young man. I enjoy the store and like the prices for the items sold however, when donating things they are open for donations from 8 AM to 4 PM I showed up at 3:58 and the guy pretty much slammed the door in my face saying that they weren't accepting any donations pointing to the sign and I said yeah, the sign says 4 o'clock it's 358 and he said we're not accepting and shut the door. it's not like the business is closed at 4 PM. They just stop accepting donations at 4 PM. The business is open till 7 PM. I will definitely limit the amount of times I come to shop at the store and I will no longer be donating here. I went thrifting on Saturday and I found some great buys. The customer service at the register could use some help. The person on the left of the checkout was not so friendly. She was an older lady with light colored hair. But everyone else was friendly I would have to say. All and all it was great to save some money. Thank you, St. Vincents. read more

Review for Donation Only Was cleaning out a storage unit after parent passed and brought items here on a Sunday, had to make a few trips and by the last trip the donation workers were rude yelling at us that they didn't have room for any of the "junk" - they were happy to take our stuff the first 2 trips and we said we had one more and they didn't mention they were getting full or we would have take it somewhere else. Didn't appreciate the behaviour and they made an already tough weekend even harder with their lack of class and empathy BTW - our junk Consisted of items such as waterford wine glasses and cedar chests, brand new china sets, etc - I guess one mans junk is not their treasure :) read more

St Vincent's is by far my favorite thrift store, they offer a huge variety of clothing as well as home decorations. Once you walk in you're greeted with a warm smile by the employees, they are also very affordable. Bathrooms are always clean. I highly recommend this place. read more

Your typical thrift store with a few decent finds, but I'm giving it one star because of how unbelievably rude one staff member was. The younger employees at the register were polite, but an older woman working behind the counter with the jewelry and locked items completely ruined the experience. She acted like helping me was a burden and had zero customer service skills. I even heard her say to another customer, in an annoyed tone, "Let me see what this lady wants," while I was standing less than three feet away. If she didn't care that I heard, that says everything. I don't expect luxury-level service at a thrift store--just basic respect. Unfortunately, I didn't get even that here. read more

I highly recommend coming to this store for all things you could possibly want to find at a regular store for less. I want to thank you St Vincent's for having the items needed for almost all my occasions and events. I just got a desk for work and it was such a reasonable price I could afford it. The huge selection of different items from household goods to clothes to art supplies and kitchen ware. Get there early for parking it's always full. The store is maintained and kept clean. they wouldn't let me donate a table, the first time I went they said they didn't have room. The second time a guy said it had to have 6 chairs to donate the table. I've seen plenty of tables in there with no chairs. Guy was a total liar. read more

It's hard to know how to rate this store. I have visited at various times over the past 4ish years and as some reviews mention- sometimes it smells awful, like poop or pee, and I can't stay. It's kind of incredible how bad it can smell - don't want to think about the cause. I do find good stuff there sometimes and it sometimes smells fine - enough that it is worth stopping by, especially if I have items to donate, like I did yesterday. They accept donations til 3 pm on Saturdays and I got there a little before 3, but the sign was already up that they were closed. The guy still accepted my stuff, so it was fine, but I have gone other times when they closed early and wouldn't. This store feels dingy to me and not super clean...I am intrigued by reviews that say how clean it is. I have never found furniture there that is good- but clothes, bags, household stuff, and this is where they really succeed, in my experience: outdoor stuff! Like beach chairs and mats, stadium seats, and exercise equipment. I head for that section first. So when it's good, 5 stars! Too stinky to shop, 1 star! Means 3 stars. Good luck! read more

I've been coming here for 10 years as a low income person who only thrifts things, it's not low income friendly anymore. They are worse than goodwill. I am a regular thrifter and go to many quite often and this has got to be one of the worst ones I've ever seen in my whole life. I walked in and immediately a bad odor hit me in the face. It smelled like a dirty cat litter box! It was so bad that I had to hold my breath the entire time. Suffice to say I didn't stay long. It was dirty, messy and junky. A lot of broken items. And The few things I picked up were expensive. Then in The furniture section, I saw people laying on the couches and falling asleep. So no thanks. I will not be returning. read more

i've been going to st vincent's for a couple years and i've found some good stuff but their prices have become insane. dresses are $9 and shorts and bottoms are $6. most of their stuff is very low quality and nowhere worth the prices they put out. they also have water bottles locked up and a hydroflask was $25 and missing the straw. i have a similar one and it was $40 new, and remember they get all of their stuff for FREE. they also have their boutique racks near the front that are even more expensive! it's mostly nike and north face, which yes are nice-ish brands... but again, they get it for free. it's heartbreaking to see a place that benefits churches become so stingy in their pricing and hurting the very people they have sworn to help. i hope that they will take this as a learning opportunity and notice that their pricing to quality ratio is completely wrong, especially when the racks are almost on the verge of breaking from so much clothing. shame on you st. vincent's. read more

This is their new location. It's a great place and it's gorgeous. Clean and had excellent customer service. They have senior citizen day so make sure you ask. They have great bargains. Their items are reasonable priced. And are in good shape. There is something for everyone. I showed pictures of a few pairs of shoes I've found a a shirt. A few pairs of shorts too. This thrift store has a large selection of clothing and a notably large pajama bottom section and button up shirt section. I had come there to find furniture and was disappointed to have found a not so great selection. Inside the store it is dark and cold and would recommend wearing a jacket. read more

I remember coming to get "deals" at this location when it was the JC Penney Factory Outlet store for their huge catalog distribution warehouse in Stead. Today I was able to donate some old clothes I won't need in my retirement like Nordstrom's shirts and ties... I had donated my slacks and jackets at another Catholic Charities donation drop off in the Double Diamond area. The staff that took my donation gave me a receipt and they were helpful and friendly as they carted it out of my car. For the most part they have what you want more clothes than anything.I think that the prices are pretty good especially for sweaters and pants this is the time of year to get that stuff before the time of year gets there. This birdie store is my favorite in town. There are two of them - one on 4th and this one on sparks, which is muuuuch larger and is in the location formerly known as Penney's outlet. Variety here is great with lots of clothes, silverware and glassware, more golf clubs than I've ever seen, and some fun books and greeting cards as well. It is never too busy, parking is a breeze, and you're guaranteed not to break the bank. read more

This thrift used to be super reasonably priced with lovely workers and a good selection of items. This used to be one of the only thrifts that wouldn't up-charge you for items depending on the brand. However, they recently raised all of their prices an unreasonable amount. They will price handbags ranging from $80-$160 if they determine they are a luxury brand (they used to be priced around $30). This was shocking to me, considering their inventory is second-hand, which they receive from free donations. Many of the expensive items will still have obvious signs of wear. You would likely get a better value shopping on eBay or Depop. I find this pretty insane since they are a non-profit charity. The workers are also quite rude these days, and they will refuse furniture donations for minor imperfections. I have been very disappointed in my recent experiences here considering this used to be my favorite thrift store. read more

So the selection here is huge, the prices are reasonable, and the store isn't unpleasant. That said, the staff isn't ... quick. They're reasonably friendly, but at one point a couple came up with a cart FULL of stuff to the checkout, like they seriously took 15 minutes to check out, and the other cashier announced "I'm going on break!" and ran off as a bunch of us queued up. I wound up wandering off and shopping some more until the line had cleared out, but a lot of other people underestimated how long it would take and were very grumpy. YMMV. read more

A friend suggested the Super Thrift. I was greeted by a super friendly man. I believe his name was Guy. So professional and kind. Took all my donations with a big smile.
