I interacted with Sachi, the shop owner, who despite having a lot of work to do assembling her unique and beautiful custom floral arrangements, came out to greet us and patiently answer plant purchasing and care questions. I ended up getting a plant here in a unique modern terracotta pot called "El Rancho" by LBE Design, designed by ceramicist Angela Nicole Drew and produced in Mexico, and a delicious smelling candle. This is a clean & organized retail shop, they have a real eye for curating and merchandising, and they sell some of the healthiest plants I've seen in a while. They are generous with their time, to talk through optimal care, and do a nice job here getting a plant ready for gifting.

It often took a long time for her to respond to emails, and when I suggested a phone call or video call to make sure we were aligned on ideas, my request was ignored. She would only communicate via email, which made the planning process frustrating and stressful. I provided clear photos and descriptions of exactly what I wanted. On the day of the wedding, the draping on my ceremony arch was missing. I only found out as I was walking down the aisle. My cake was also nothing like what I had requested; instead, it had random flowers that were never discussed. I expressed how upset I was afterward, but nothing was done to resolve the situation. She actually said that had I let her know while she was on site, she could have fixed it. I didn't have time to look at the ceremony space nor did I know when she was there. I trusted her to do what was discussed. Her explanation for slow responses was that she was busy, which I understand to a point, but I also feel that vendors shouldn't take on more clients than they can reasonably handle. Looking back, had I known how disappointing this experience would be, I would not have gone with the preferred florist and would have gladly paid more for someone who could offer better communication and attention on such an important day.

After requesting just one rose, my husband was met with visible irritation and dismissive behavior. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed or unwelcome for making a modest purchase.
