The Sand Dollar Downtown is a bar within The Plaza that offers live music but not when I was there for a nightcap. I didn't find anything remarkable about it. I will say this: One of the great things about The Plaza is the place doesn't rape you on the price of things. For example, my Coors Light was $6.50, which is a lot less than what one would be called upon to pay at a lot of places in Vegas. I'll give it another try the next time I stay at The Plaza. Cheers.

A nice grunge/ rock craft beer tavern that was cozy and a nice escape from the losing of money in the Casino. I'm not much of a gamble but I do enjoy a crisp IPA with my lady. The bar staff was laid back and welcoming. A really cool spot

Fun bar located inside The Plaza with a Beachbum Berry Sippin Santa Santa Pop Up. Great cocktails served by an excellent bartender Shajae was so friendly and nice. Plus she made a great old fashioned cocktail.

I came on January 4 and sadly enough the bar was empty, all holiday decorations were gone which was a total bummer because that's the best part about sand dollar. It was also empty when it came to crowd. It was before 10 so it was profitably early for this place however it's in the plaza so I expected people regardless. I didn't stay because their cocktail menu is not good enough for me to stay. I assume it's the same as the other location and I have never had a good cocktail from their originals list there. And you can get any other drink elsewhere too. Hope better next time I try...

First time experience at the downtown LV version of the Sand Dollar...went for the livestream of night 2 of Phish at the Sphere...nice interior, modern vibe with a long bar adjacent to the stage area on one side and some pool tables on the other...didn't eat inside of the venue but did notice the pop up pizza place a short walk away inside of the casino. You can enter from either Main Street entrance or from inside of the Plaza casino floor, at least on this night which was very crowded..my only complaints were that they cut the concert off without showing the encore because they had a live band playing sometime after midnight, they couldn't have waited another 20 minutes or so and shown the finale?? Also, the drink prices were exorbitant for an off strip property, $60 for four beers, seemed a bit extreme in my opinion...since there was no cover for the show I'll take that in stride but if that is the everyday price then that is a bit much....anyway, could see returning in the future depending on the event taking place...slight recommendation

We came here for the Sippin Santa on Main and it's a very nice change from what it normally looks like. I would definitely recommend coming here over the other location just for how spacious this one is. Nothing wrong with the other location but can get really busy. The drinks featured are pretty good and had the Sippin Santa and Jingle Bird. Service was great and overall an enjoyable experience at the plaza. If you are coming here parking can be a little weird but make sure to validate.

The ambiance was cool, the guys that were behind the bar were very quick and helpful with our orders and questions. Locals normally stay away from tourist spots but we will definitely be back here. The food choices were all great easy bar bites, we had pizzas, chicken fingers, fries!

Craft cocktails. Live music. Friendly bartenders. Cool spot. All the things you want in a Las Vegas Bar. While it has the same vibe as the original Sand Dollar lounge. This new dive bar has a vintage classic Las Vegas feel. Things to know. The entrance is under the iconic plaza lights on Main Street. Parking is at The Plaza unless you're hanging out on Fremont Street.

Dive bar atmosphere without judgemental regulars. Which are de riguer, but you're a tourist and would not have time to crack a genuine dive bar. Interesting taps and bottles, impressive liquor, great Muzak when there is no band and the bands rock when there is no Muzak. Food comes from the pizza joint "next door" in the Plaza casino. For me at least, perfect

A few people in the club took their phones out on occasion, but it was nice to be mostly distraction free. The people I saw attempt to take photos were reminded of the policy and forced to delete the photos. I watched it happen twice... The security was locked in this night- Huge security staff and everyone could see them enforcing policies. The bottle service was great. Expensive, of course, but you know you're paying for that. Our server was so kind and accommodating. The busser was incredibly attentive. We got a bottle of rosé and a few cocktails. The cocktails were delicious and quite unique. Lon the Don was my favorite. The venue itself is beautifully designed, with a more intimate, sophisticated feel compared to larger Las Vegas clubs. It's a great option if you're looking for something stylish with a strong music and ambiance focus. The overall vibe is smooth and elevated -- great music, well-dressed crowd, and an atmosphere that feels exclusive without being overwhelming. One thing worth noting is the camera policy. The venue emphasizes a no-camera experience, which I understand is meant to maintain privacy and keep the focus on the moment. However, I did notice a few cameras out and about during the night, which made the policy feel a bit inconsistent. Not a major issue, but something that stood out. Overall, it's a great spot for a more refined night out in Las Vegas. I had an enjoyable experience and would definitely return.

You see pink bubble balls hung up on the ceiling, drink menu featuring bubbles and you can scan the QR code on the printed menu to see their "secret menu" of more bubble drinks. We tried the "Electric Pornstar Martini" and it's served with 2 separate glasses. You can mix them together as one drink or drink them separately. The bigger round glass is covered with "dusted rim of Buzz Button ElectricDust. The dust is made from an electrifying flower that stimulates your salivary glands..." that apparently shocked our taste buds and nobody liked it. I like the smaller glass of Martini Prosecco and passion fruit popping pearls, I can drink it all by itself. The bigger glass holds the sweet passion fruit juice which we think it's just ok and gets too sweet after a few sips. I also tried the "Green Light" which to me is too coconuty and not refreshing enough. The sheer volume of it is satisfying though. Service was excellent. We got our drinks in no time and bottled waters are offered. Btw, they do card and card seriously. Although we are all old enough to drink, one of our coworker was asked to show ID and while he was too lazy to go back to his room, another host came over to reinforce the request. Nothing's wrong with that, I like how they keep it clean.

As someone who loves all things quirky and unusual, The Golden Tiki has always been right up my alley. When a friend came into town and wanted to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday, I thought it would be the perfect place to kick off our evening. I was able to make an online reservation just a couple of days in advance, which was quick and painless. What I didn't realize was that they offer a weekday happy hour and live music! We were seated in "Bull***t Corner," which turned out to be the perfect spot. We had a great view of both the bar and the entertainment, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. Also, can't forget to mention the service. The hosts were fun but our actual server was absolutely hysterical and fit right in with the fun. She kept us laughing throughout our visit, while also being incredibly attentive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she made sure our drinks were flowing, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's not often you find someone who can be both entertaining and genuinely great at their job, but she pulled it off effortlessly. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and everyone had a fantastic time. The drinks were excellent as always--I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad cocktail here. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, and we decided to stick with a few drinks since we already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but after this visit, I definitely plan on coming back on a weeknight to order from the food menu. If you're looking for a fun, unique Vegas experience with great drinks, and plenty of personality, The Golden Tiki is always a solid choice.
