I love dive bars like this. The ambiance was straight out of the swinging 60's , complete with a black and white "blue movie" circa 1965 playing on a loop near the ladies room. Just follow the neon "girls girls girls live nudes" sign if you gotta touch up your makeup. The drinks were so strong and the prices were retro. No inflated casino prices or watered down, pre-mixed sugar cocktails here. The bartender and doorman were so nice and welcoming. The karaoke was great; no, the host did NOT charge $$ per song as mentioned in an earlier review. I was told that only happens if he's asked to stay on past 2 AM when he's not getting paid. Most of the singers were pretty good, and they sing a lot of rock. I sang jazz, and the audience was very receptive to Rat Pack era standards. I can't wait to come back! read more

We are connoisseurs of dive bars and along with a few others in town, Dino's is one of the last true dive bars! It has been around since the early 60's and you can smell it when you walk in. The bar and the floor are old, chipped and likely clean, but you wouldn't know it! It's dark and smoky and dingy just the way we like it. You know you are in a true dive bar and not one of these fake ass "new dives" that some places are trying to pass off as authentic. We stumbled in, from the bright afternoon sun and were immediately greeted by the bartender and other anonymous drunks already lining the bar. It reeked in true dive bar fashion as we bellied up to the bar and threw a $20 into the ancient video poker machine. The friendly bartender slapped a Bud Light bottle in front of each of us with a smile and and let us be. The beer was ice cold in direct inverse proportion to the warmth of the bartenders kind heart. The VP machines were tighter than usual, but it was probably just an off afternoon. They can't always be winners and it won't stop me from coming back! She did not hang out just with her regulars but made it a point to talk to us and talk about the Old Vegas that once was. This place is on the strip on your way down to Fremont Street. They have Karaoke and sometimes live music. Did we have a drink, you bet! Great place to go and get your Vegas on. Dark, Divey, and Delightful Karen and I wandered into Dino's Lounge this afternoon to kill a little time -- and maybe a few brain cells (mission accomplished). Like any proper dive bar, the place was darker than a vampire's closet, but before our eyes could even adjust, we were greeted by Erin, the bartender, whose friendly voice cut through the dim like a lighthouse in a sea of neon. Erin was awesome -- quick with the drinks, full of charm, and totally cool with us only dropping a measly $20 into the keno machine. We didn't strike it rich, but we got enough playtime to pretend we were high rollers for a few minutes. If Dino's was closer to home, we'd probably be in here way too often. We might even splurge on an Uber sometime just to check out the karaoke scene -- which, judging by the vibe, could be either glorious or gloriously awful (both are wins in my book). The neighborhood? A little rough around the edges, but no issues. Plus, we liked that we could keep an eye on our car thanks to the security camera feed behind the bar. Bonus points for surveillance peace of mind. Solid drinks, great service, and dive bar charm with just the right amount of grit. We'll be back -- and next time, maybe we'll even sing. read more

I really enjoyed my night here. I had a large group, maybe 70-90 people who wanted to go off-site for or annual karaoke event. Dino's delivered and then some. The staff were all wonderful, and the man doing security at the door was just the best and made sure everyone was safe. We even had to have one person leave, and he took care of it so well and professionally. The drinks were great and not crazy expensive like most places in Vegas as I think this is more of a local place, not touristy. I had so much fun overall and we will be back next year for sure! read more

Rare 5 Star Dive Bar Review. By far the best bar in Las Vegas. Here is bar that makes a good amount of "best" dive bars in America lists. Usually those lists are created by lame clueless writers who do even know what a real dive is. However; this is NOT the case with Dino's. This bar is probably most fun place in Vegas. All age groups, beautiful people, not so beautiful people, and no one gives a shit. Crazy clientele, super friendly, all around great time. I was in Vegas for 4 nights and ended up finding myself back at this spot 3 times. Dino's has been five stars for me every time. It's a destination bar for me and my buddy whenever we are in town three to four times a year. Mariah is a rock star bartender. We love sitting at her bar playing video poker. Pro tip: At night, a very awesome taco stand opens up right across the street from Dino's, and it has outdoor seating. They have tortas, burritos, and so forth, also. The tacos I ordered were among the best I've ever had anywhere at any price point. My usual admonition based on thirty plus years of Vegas trips: With exceptions, the best of Las Vegas will not be found on the strip. Yelp, Uber, and Lyft are your friends. Dino's is technically on the strip because it's on Las Vegas Boulevard, but on the north end which is not most people think of when they think of the strip. Cheers! read more

First time here and we were so glad we came in. We went in on a Monday afternoon and we knew as soon as we walked in it was what we were looking for here in Vegas. Our bartender Erin was so much fun. It was quiet when we got there and then after awhile she had almost a full bar. She didn't miss a beat! She was so fun and funny and it looked like she knew everyone and everyone there was her friend. We didn't expect that "feel" here in Vegas. She told us about the history of the bar and we really enjoyed that! We were so happy with the prices and the jukebox music! We had an absolute blast! Erin really made our day! Along with Stage Door (my absolute favorite), Double Down Saloon, Frankies, and Atomic Lounge. This is no muss no fuss kinda place, belly up to the bar, order your poison and enjoy the ambience. Service has always been friendly, and I've never seen anyone asked to leave who didn't need to do just that. Drinks and beers are reasonably priced for Vegas. Highly recommend. read more

This is one of the few time honored, long established venues in town. I made a point to visit here. On three different visits here I had three different experiences. Visit #1- I came in, ordered a drink, and then never saw the bartender again. The bartender remained at the other side of the bar for my entire visit speaking with another patron. Considering i couldn't get another drink If i tried i left. After I left I told myself that could have been a decent place to hang out so i'll try again another day Visit #2- I came in with the intention of watching the hockey game, bartender Aspen graciously put it on hockey for us with sound. I played the Jukebox after, was served drinks and had a Fabulous.time. Visit #3- Came in and ordered a drink from some bartender named Mikal H. on a Wednesday afternoon, he asks to hold my ID AND credit card to start a tab...Um you already have a credit card you 100% do not need to hold my ID too.. that's how Identities get stolen. He said "not my rules". Well then tell the person who made the rules that people do not want you to have not only their credit card number but their name, address, date of birth, drivers license # etc right at your fingertips!!! That's all you need for identity theft. No other Bar in town does it so change the dumb rule if it even exists (noone else did this at Dino's when i came). He ended up being an okay bartender and I again had a great time but I'm not leaving my ID along with my credit card if i am to come back . It is definitely a solid Watering Hole read more
