Been here a few times and the sandwiches always hit!! Big fan of the pesto turkey and the tater tots are a just try. It's always packed in there, but the sandwiches are still made to order and come out fresh and delicious.
I'm very impressed with how fast these folks are, whether you order ahead for pickup or join the line at the front counter. The sandwiches are great! Good kids menu, and nice patio out front. It can be hard to get a table inside during prime lunchtime, that's the only down side I have found.
Fun, local sandwich shop. Cubano and chicken parm were the items I chose. Everything was served quickly and efficiently. Somewhat limited seating but I assume they're mostly a takeout spot.

We ordered the steak and cheese and the chipotle chicken sandwiches. They were just average in my opinion. We also ordered the fries and cheese curds. The curds and chipotle chicken sandwiches are pretty spicy so just a heads up. I enjoy that there is outside seating. Service was overall good, although it looked like tables had not really been wiped down in some time despite it not being busy. Parking is a little difficult, street parking only. Overall, not a bad sandwich shop but not sure I'd go out of my way to return.
This Bahn mi sandwich was so good! The crunch was great, it had the perfect amount of toppings and even if its not traditional, it was still so yum. The spicy cheese curds were also really yum and crispy! Had great amount of spice that elevated the flavor of the dish. I dont really get sandwiches outside but I would love to go visit again and try other menu! It gets busy but they we're very friendly even if we were ordering last minute! Its a small store but also had outside sitting! Smells amazing in there.

The Turk and Brie sandwich was also good. There was a line but it moves fast and great place to checkout for takeout or there are some seats indoors and outdoors to eat.
I've heard positive review about The Sandwich Shop, but I wasn't sure if I would ever drive to Vienna for sandwiches. I had a coupon on Uber Eats, so I used that as an opportunity to finally try it. My delivery was packaged neatly and each sandwich was massive, so half of a sandwich was more than enough for one meal. THE TURK + BRIE - 9.50 (11 on Uber Eats) +2.75 for avocado They do not skimp out on ingredients here. I could barely fit the entire height of the sandwich in my mouth. My favorite part of this sandwich was the turkey + fig jam combination, something I don't see often. I love ciabatta, too, so this was a top tier sandwich for me. The tomato added more moisture, and the avocado (though not necessary) was creamy and filling. I would recommend this sandwich! THE ITALIAN - 13.50 (14.50 on Uber Eats) A variety of different meats (according to their menu, there are five different ones) was stuffed in this sub along with provolone, lettuce, tomato, and more other toppings. The Italian dressing was nice, and overall, this was a solid Italian sandwich. It tasted delicious even the next day. I don't know about you, but I prefer cold sandwiches over hot ones, so the above two are solid cold sandwiches that I'd recommend.
I was doing some shopping and decided I needed a sandwich and thank god I walked past this place! It is very no frills, cheap sandwiches but man was it good. I got the club on ciabatta and in the time it took me to figure out where to stand and wait for my order (approx 90 seconds) my order was ready! I took it home to eat and it was not impacted at all by my 30 minute drive back into the city. The ciabatta was buttery and soft and the veg toppings were fresh and crunchy. I go shop at the refillery next door (Trace) every once in a while so I'll definitely be back to try more!
I ordered the Young Turk (sandwich on left) and the BLT-A (on the right) with a side of fries. The food came well packaged. The bread wasn't soggy and wasn't hard either. Service and delivery was quick. The sandwiches were a great mid-day lunch and not heavy! The sandwiches were definitely fresh too and packed with yummy ingredients.

Craved a sandwich and glad to have found this place! Parking here was a little tricky for a Saturday lunch time. Behind the building there are a few spots or if you are lucky, right along the street. Upon entering, there was a already a long line waiting to order, but it went pretty quick. I opted for the chicken parm and a scoop of chicken salad, both very tasty and delicious! Dine-in seating was pretty limited with a few tables indoors and outdoors. Overall, was a great meal and looking forward to returning! Enjoy!
Super yummy! Conveniently located downtown Vienna with so many different sandwiches to choose from. Went on a saturday afternoon and it was busy (rightfully so!) I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and it was super fresh. It was a little messy to eat just because of how packed it was! I paired it with the spicy cheese curds and it was delectable. So yummy and addicting. Cant wait to come back to try some more of their food

Solid Italian sandwich, the arugula on it was a little new for me when I think about a classic Italian sandwich. I suppose if there is green on one I'm used to shredded lettuce dressed with oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Sandwich came out quickly which makes it a great lunch spot. read more

For the portion and price, this is a great sandwich place. The area is a bit annoying for parking, but they have a small lot behind them, just don't miss the turn in. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside in the front, which is exactly where you want to eat a sandwich during the summer. The service is relatively quick and everyone was kind. I ordered the chicken supreme and it was a near perfect sandwich for me. It was balanced, not too heavy, and had a heaping of arugula on it. I also think the bread here deserves a bit of credit for not scratching up the roof of my mouth with every bite. The menu is vast and there's definitely something for everyone. read more

This is my new favorite, go-to sandwich shop. There's so many options to choose from, so you'll never get bored. I ordered the Italian and the Roasted Pork & Broccoli. I'm a sucker for Italian sandwiches, and this one is among my top 5. The meat was fresh, and the flavors still blended together. The roasted pork and broccoli was tender and the sauce on the sandwich blended everything in just the right way. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. The staff was patient and respectful even though they were SO BUSY and up to their ears in to-go orders and dine-in orders. Thanks for great experience! read more

The sandwiches here are delicious! I got the BLT-A with cheddar. So good! Fresh avocado, tomatoes and lettuce!! It's a little loud but that goes with the territory. The sandwiches come out quickly and only waited in like for a minute to order! I came at prime lunch time too!!! Wonderful lunch spot. Will definitely be back! read more
Mediocre. I should've listened to the reviews but wanted to try it for myself. I got the steak & cheese and it wasn't what I was expecting. The lemon mayo they put in the sandwich is a nice cleanser palette but also a bit weird for the sandwich -- can't decide if I like it or not. Overall, wouldn't get it again. Look elsewhere. read more

Updating my review because they have many other good sandwiches and I don't want to let the bad meat from the reuben I had a year or so ago to ruin the rest, although I do hope that I never find pieces like that again :/ Today I doordashed and I couldn't decide between the turk and brie and the young turk because I really wanted avocado but also wanted brie and fig jam. I ordered the young turk and left a note asking if it was possible for them to sub the mozz for brie and add fig jam, but said it's okay if not. The sandwich came and they did it for me! It was incredible. SO GOOD. All time new favorite sammy and I definitely recommend trying it out because the flavors all go really well together. I also saw that they had a curry chicken salad sandwich so I thought I'd try it out, it was good! Lastly, I ordered the cobb salad which I thought was a little overpriced at 15$, but it's probably less if you go in. All in all, this is still my favorite sandwich shop in the area and I love trying out all their options! read more
I've had this place bookmarked forever it feels like. I'm so glad I finally got to try it out and I just can't stop thinking about going back. I only tried the spicy chipotle chicken sandwich and while I think it could/should be a little bit spicier, it was almost perfect. Service is fast, prices are fair, and the inside is pleasant enough for a quick lunch. Honestly I would kill to have this place closer to work so I could eat there every weekday. Also think the store manager or owner or whomever was answering the phone next to my table and I'm genuinely amazed by the number of people who call in every minute to ask questions about the sandwiches. Like what do you need to know? The ingredients are on the menu, yes the turkey sandwich has turkey in it. read more
I was looking for a place for a quick bite and the GPS came up with The Sandwich Shop. I go past on a regular basis and never knew this place was here. It's tucked away on the back side of a plaza on Church Street. I was lucky to find a parking spot a block away so I walked. The tree needs trimmed back because it covers the left half of the sign. It's a cozy place inside, layout is perfect for lunch or a quick dinner and a beer. They have beer on tap. Next time. I looked at the menu online and had already decided on a club sandwich without a tomato. I ordered and grabbed a bag of Maui Onion potato chips. I never see these chips anywhere so it was a real treat. After a few my sandwich is ready so I grab the bag and head out. For a club I expected a tall (taller) sandwich. Upon inspection and a taste it was a good choice. The bread is perfect, cheese is fresh, cold cuts are good. Definitely recommend if you like a club sandwich. The chips are another good choice if you like a different flavor with your sandwich. The menu is big enough to have me back sometime soon. read more

I love a good sandwich for lunch, but husband usually doesn't. He saw an IG reel for this shop and decided we should check it out. So happy he saw that reel, this place is so good!!! We usually just order online and pick up. I'm always tempted to try something new, but I always stick to the same thing. I know terrible, but it's because we don't come often so when we do, I want what I love! The Turk and Brie. Wow. Perfect balance between salty and sweet. The ciabatta is always so soft yet crunchy on the edges. There's so much turkey, which I appreciate, very filling. The fig jam and brie is my favorite combination, they taste so good together! One of my favorite sandwiches, ever. Check them out when you want a sandwich! read more
Meatball sub checked all the boxes on a cold December afternoon. Took a recommendation from the person who took my order and was very happy. Plenty of meatballs, right amount of cheese with a great tomato sauce. All on a nice sub roll made for a perfect lunch. Quick service and for a reasonable price. Always love coming here! Lots of different sandwich options between hot and cold subs. Probably some of the most fair prices in the area for sandwiches. The interior has a few 2-4 person seating and three tables outside to eat at. A large staff working behind the counter so expect service to be quick. Also, make sure you try their fried cheese curds! Yummy! This is tucked into Church Street, and I have been recently been trying to try Vienna spots more. The Sandwich Shop boasts a lot of offerings, and has hot and cold sandwiches. They're made to order and have indoor + outdoor seating. My boyfriend and I were really craving sandwiches one day, so we decided to order some sandwiches and check this place out! My boyfriend ordered the chicken pesto and I ordered the Turkey and Brie. The bread was warm and had the nice crust, and boy were these filling! The Turk and Brie was super tasty, but it was a lot of arugula inside. I would have removed maybe about 20% of the arugula for it to be optimal for me. The service was quick as well, I ordered online for a super fast pickup and there was a pick up table for easy access. There's a good amount of staff ready to help as well. This is a great sandwich place in the DMV area, and I have been here many times. This time around, I got the banh mi sandwich, and it is so good. The pickled vegetables are great, and pair nicely with the pork. The bread that they use is also very good, and has great texture. The sandwich is very tasty and is a good amount of food for its price. The only complaint I have is that sometimes there isn't enough sauce in the sandwich. I also got the tater tots which are pretty good. I have also gotten the loaded tater tots before, and they are really good. I will definitely be back in the future! read more
The food here is so good that my husband and I ate here two days in a row. The sandwich shop is small, but has a few tables inside and outside for patrons to dine in. Food is excellent and is made to order. Our favorites are the London broil and the spicy chicken chipotle sandwiches. Can't wait to dine here again (and again)! read more
Got takeout here with some friends. Overall, thought it was a decent sandwich. Bread was a little dense and dry, but the actual meat was pretty tasty. Tater tots were pretty standard, which is to say, yummy, but nothing out of the ordinary. Not pictured, but we also got fries and cheese curds to share. Both were really good. Fries are more on that battered crispy side and the cheese curds actually has a little kick to it. Would definitely order those again as a side over the tots. Overall, solid lunch spot. Would probably try something other than the reuben next time, but the fries and cheese curds were great! read more

The food was really good! The vitamin c banh mi hit the spot!! The caprese sandwich was good too! But of the two I would recommend the banhi mi!! The service was super fast and the people who worked there were so friendly! Had a great convo with the cashier! The ambiance was casual fast restaraunt with the option of indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of seats! It's in a cute shopping complex with several other stores! Parking was easy to find in daytime but I would imagine it being difficult in the evenings due to limited spaces. read more
